Horrible

This is absolutely the worst! This was the first time ordering from this company and will be the LAST! I ordered two bathing suits for my daughter they said it would be here in 5-7 days ok, fine great. However I noticed only one had shipped and not the other, so I called to see why one was shipped and almost here, and not the other. The lady from customer service said well it seems to have been lost in transition. My response was ok well was anyone going to inform me of this or is it a guessing game? I was then told the order would be cancelled for the second bathing suit that was lost and credited back to my card. Then a couple days later I got an email and banking alert saying my card was charged for the bathing suit that was "lost in transit" I immediately called again spoke to another customer service rep asking why my card was charged for something that's lost. She then told me I don't know why the first person told you it was lost when it just left our warehouse, I cancelled the damn order since it was lost but they still continued to send it, then the bathing suit that was lost I was told would be here on Tuesday then tracked it now it's saying Thursday. This company is awful and doesn't know what they're doing I will NEVER order from here again, worst service ever! The only reason they got a one star was so I can post this review!

I got two pairs of shoes $74 dollars. Following day got charge for $45 for no reason. I didn't order anything else. What the heck man. Stealing money, seriously?

Awful Customer Service

I will never order from Tilly's again based on the customer service I recently experienced. I ordered on 12/10 and was told the product would ship within 48 hours and arrive within 5-7 business days. After not receiving my product I tried to make numerous attempts to contact them by phone. The original message would say "you have a 9 minute hold time" but they would NEVER answer their phone. I ended up holding for 20 minutes each time then a message would come on saying "our store is closed" and then would hang up on me. I called during business hours so I knew this wasn't true. Then I sent an email and it took 48 hours to hear back. I got a standard reply to my email saying the product was out of stock. Thanks Tillys for notifying me of this 2 days before Christmas. Were you ever going to notify me of this had I not contacted you? I have never experienced such poor customer service from a retail store. I mean do they even answer their phone or just put people on hold for 20 minutes then hang up on them? And 2 days to respond back to my email? They left me in a very difficult position on Christmas Eve trying to replace the product I thought I was getting.

Ordered online totaling around $200 ontrac was suppose to deliver and never did although they claimed to, Tillys took their word for it and didn't refund me a dime. Never buy from them again.

I made a recent order & received a damaged shirt. I sent it back, using the "Pre-Paid" return shipping label, and asked clearly for a simple exchange. After days of waiting (over 1 week) I received a response that Tilly's had actually REFUNDED me HALF the price I paid for the shirt, claiming I was responsible for the "Pre-Paid" return shipping label. So, to recap, I received a damaged item, sent it back & asked for a simple exchange, and was denied. In fact they gave me about a 50% refund on my shirt. Unbelievable incompetence displayed during this experience with this usually great company. I suggest you take caution when ordering from Tilly's clothing, as they are not willing to reconcile in any way shape or form. I'm simply out of luck! Thanks alot, it was a gift for my brain-damaged older brother, who lives in a group home. Now he's out of luck as well. Thank you so very much for this experience, so I can notify others to exercise extreme caution when ordering from an incompetent company such as this. Customer service was unbelievably horrible...

Terrible service
December 11, 2017

Went online and ordered stuff for Christmas. I got some of my order delivered and so i called to see where the rest of my order was. The lady i spoke with told me that i wouldn't be getting the rest of my order because they were out of stock and preceeded to tell me that they sent me an e-mail letting me know. I never recieved said e-mail and i know they had the right e-mail because i recieved my confirmation e-mail from them. I will be taking everything back that i purchased and going somewhere else. They weren't interested in trying to fix the problem. All she could say was I'm sorry i will let them know that you didn't get the e-mail. REALLY! This is my first time shopping here and it will be my last. This is one store i could careless if shut down.

By far this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Yesterday I went to order three items from your website. I payed with my paypal account and it was the strangest thing... The payment displayed the correct amount then after it had gone through the payment amount changed! All of a sudden the confirmation showed I had only bought one item and that I was charged $8 for shipping! I immediately called the "customer service" line ( Im pretty sure they don't have a single person there to answer it at any time of the day) and sat on hold for a half hour until I gave up and tried emailing to cancel the order. I sent the email thinking someone would see it and intercept the order so I reordered the item along with the two other items I was originally supposed to get. I then tried calling and emailing a bunch of other times with no luck. Eventually I received an email with no real apology that basically just said they sent it out regardless of my emails and phone calls and that I could return it if I wanted... So now I am stuck with two fedoras, having to pay $8 shipping and then $7 for return shipping... SO RIDICULOUS! Needless to say I will never buy another thing from Tilly's.

I am 30 years old. I stay busy with my husband, work and 3 children. So I've been an avid "online shopper" for at least 8 years now. I've ordered from all sorts of websites. Battled all sorts of customer service, had garment or product issues when items were received from different companies/stores. This aside from lightinthebox.com, is the absolute worst store to order from. They charged me 4 times the amount in which my order cost. My garments came and 2 of the items were severely damaged. One was the wrong size and one was the wrong color. I only received one item out of my entire order that was as it should be. My package took 2 months almost to get to me. Now, to make a long story short, they refused to credit me back the extra over 300 and some dollars they fraudulently charged me even though I had a print off from my bank showing they charged me the price of my order plus charged me 4 extra times. They le t me return the unwanted items (at my expense) only never to send me any of my exchanges (it's now been almost a year ago... still received none of my exchanged merchandise). Customer service was absolutely terrible. The girl I talked to asked if I was from a different country because she couldn't understand what I was saying and I told her I was Caucasian and from va. She started laughing on the phone. Another girl I talked to said "she didn't honestly care about my order, it's her job to pretend that she cares". And another girl hung up on me. I would rather dumpster dive for my clothes than ever order from there again. It was honestly a horrible horrible experience.

I ordered a backpack before school and I paid $20 EXTRA to get it overnight and they NEVER SENT IT OUT. What the heck kind of crap is that? They're customer service is crap they're website is crap the whole store sucks. If I could give less than 1 star I would in a heartbeat.

TILLYS.COM HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST SITE I HVVE EVER ORDERED ANYTHING OFFLINE FROM. ORDERED TWO ITEMS AND THEY BOTH ENDED UP BEING OUT OF STOCK BUT I WAS NOT NOTICED UNTIL I CALLED A WEEK LATER TO ASK, PLUS I ORDERED DIRECTLY THROUGH A CALL AND ASKED TO MAKE SURE THE ITEM WAS NOT OUT OF STOCK SO THE SAME PROBLEM WOULD NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. THEY DID NOT SHOW ME ANY SYMPATHY. MY CARDS WERE CHARGED

Impossible Return Policy

Bought (online) a beautiful blouse--arrived huge--tried to exchange for a smaller size. WITHOUT any prior notification. They dont allow returns or exchanges online! BEWARE!

I definitely have had several Negative Experiences. Both In The Store as well as Via The Telephonoe. The Only Reason We continue to Shop Here is because They have items My Children really like. I have 2 (two) Letters that I have sent to Corporate within the last 6 Months if anybody is interested in Reviewing Them.

This store DOES NOT HAVE SAME DAY CURBSIDE PICKUP! I ordered my husband's Valentine's gift online at 9:00am and I thought I would run by after work to pick it up since Tilly's offer's this service. However when I called the store and asked when it would be ready the girl on the phone stated that they fulfill all their orders at 8am and will NOT fullfil anymore orders until the next day! So DO NOT order anything online if you intend to pick it up the same day because they are false advertising same day curbside pickup! I even asked her if there was anyway she could fullfil my order because it was a Valentine's Day gift and she refused. Poor Customer Service! I'm very disappointed because I do love Tilly's and so does my Husband but after this I'm taking my business else where. ‍

I ordered an e-gift card for my nephew a few days before his birthday, expecting it would be delivered via e-mail immediately or within a few hours... four days later he finally got it... a few days AFTER his birthday. Ridiculous that it takes four days to e-mail a gift card! THIS NEEDS TO BE TRANSPARENT WHEN ORDERING AN E-GIFT CARD!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I ordered a XL fake leather jacket and just opened the box to an XS! Made in China, by the Chinese... for the Chinese! If you're a Pygmee or a Lilitputian it will fit you just fine but I'm a 38DD with a flat waist and I can't even close this thing! On top of that I have skinny arms and the sleeves are so tight wearing it would be impossible even if I could fit my rack inside! On top of that the beautiful brown is a hideous dark gold. STAY AWAY FROM TILLYS! The clothes look nothing like the photos. No wonder they prohibit reviews. NEVER AGAIN! Wish I could it give it minus a thousand stars!

Great overall

It took Tilly's about 3 days to ship it out, and I got it in a week and a day to my house. I would consider this pretty fast shipping. I did not receive damaged clothes, although I will warn that the online versions of the clothes DO DIFFER IN QUALITY VS REALITY. In reality, the clothes are not of very high quality, but they are comfortable and you get what you pay for quality wise.
