TigerDirect's reputation has significantly declined, with numerous customers expressing dissatisfaction primarily due to delayed shipments, uncommunicative customer service, and issues with order cancellations. While some customers recall positive experiences with product quality in the past, the current feedback highlights a troubling trend of unfulfilled orders and inadequate support during the return process. Many reviews indicate frustration with the company's handling of refunds and restocking fees, leading to a growing sentiment of distrust. Overall, the company appears to be struggling to meet customer expectations, diminishing its credibility in the competitive online retail market.

Bought an bluetooth earphone from them for $35 but later found same earphone for lesser price $23 in different website.
Unlike Newegg: they back what they sell. Managers respond to problems. Whats described when you order is what you receive. Extended warranty information is given at the time of purchase, you don't have to go on a witch hunt to file a claim like you do with Newegg.
They pulled off that scam where an item was on sale, very good price, allow me to add to basket and then when it was time to deliver, 'oops, item doesn't exist'. Of course I had purchased other items as well. Never went back to the store nor online again, bye.
Tiger Direct has great online deals, sometimes shipping takes a little time,
Never had anything go wrong and when it did it was fixed right away
If you are looking for discounted products this is the website for you. There is a wide variety of products. I was on the website for 5 minutes and was amazed how well this website is planned and looked through it for about 30 minutes and seen very good deals. I will be using this in the future and is very helpful for people who need discounts. But there was some deals that you can find on amazon that were a lot better. But this is also very good.So you should use this if you are looking for low electronic prices.
I done Business with Tiger direct a few times. My first time I ordered a wireless router a USB wireless router transmitter and as gift I geuss they sent me 2 USB cable extenders all the item were D-Links! On my most recent ordered I ordered a pair of Headphones w/ noise cancellation switch. These are the BEST I've ever had TigerDirct you are the BEST
Replaced a DLink which I was have dropout issues while streaming video. Not any more! This box handles security video streaming and video with no dropouts. Setup very easy with lots of features if needed. Highly recommend
This place is great IF you get the correct item you ordered. Their customer service and return process are next to impossible
I can't notice any difference but I'm getting a Mexican model number when I receive Ipod Nano's from Tiger-direct. Its real and honored by Apple. Just FYI.
Before I buy anything in the local store or online I am going to the Tiger direct too see their prices and overview of iteam. So far they didn't let me down in any case. They have affordable prices and you do not need to go google about the item because they explained under " overview " everything. My last buy from tiger was external hard drive and it is as they said it is. Thank you Tiger, I am recommending everyone to try them out, you won't regret it ;)
You can really see how they leverage their buying power and then resell them to you at very low prices. Such a huge selection of items its not funny. Add-on their instant discounts, mail-in rebates, and free shipping, so what more could you want?
This place is on par with Newegg when it comes to pricing and products. The only thing that is not as good is their poor return mechanism. Hard to reach customer service, they tell you youll get to return something but they never confirm it. If you don't return things its great.
TigerDirect was THE website where most of my colleagues and I would order our computer parts. That's to say that the business is quite different from what it once was. Since they have been acquired, it is a pain to find a deal worth actually considering, especially when other online suppliers are faster to ship and have a better deal. The support is also being offered in a lax way. I've gotten two completely unprofessional responses when inquiring about the details of two of their GPUs since their listings are sometimes incomplete.
You can get it here dirt cheap. If you are not in a hurry, you can put yourself on a contact list and see when price is reduced or name a price and by advised if reached. Their special dailies are to die for at times.
I built a $3000 computer for around $900 using this method.
Know what you want, this is the place to shop.
I recommend TigerDirect because they have always been very good and handled my orders promptly and their products are high quality. I will continue to buy from them. Thank you.
Another antiquated business that needs you to create yet another marginal internet account instead of using top-level single sign on SSO providers e.g. Google, Facebook
Extremely great customer service. Their prices are cheap in comparison to others, and they fixed my computer and did not charge me for labor cause I bought it from them just a little less than 120 days, but I did not buy any extended warranty
In January 2016 I called Tiger Direct to purchase a laptop. I gave the sales person the minimum specs required for my needs. Unknown to me, they sold me a laptop that did not meet my specs. Additionally I was told the graphics card was upgradable and today they told me it is not. TWO LIES. I contacted customer service and was told nothing could be done. Unacceptable.
Worst experience ever. Had to jump through hoops just to place the order for a $633 laptop. They held up order without telling me and when I called they informed me I must send them several forms of proof of identification. When I received the computer, it didn't work. Called them numerous times attempting to get RMA number so I could return it, but was put on hold for literally hours. Since I was worried they would claim I didn't send it back within window of time to make return (since I was put on hold each time it took days to get number for return), I had credit card company dispute the charge. Credit card company gave them 60 days to respond and at the last minute they responded and said they never got it back from me. Luckily I have records through tracking that proves they received it with their signature so we have proof they lied. Now it appears they are going out of business. No wonder!
