Booked tickets to Billy Joel concert. Coved 19 happened so they rescheduled and will not refund. Travellers beware. Do not buy through this organisation. At a time when people need money, this company only cares about there own pockets.
Event was canceled and I was told for weeks I would receive a refund. Then they said they had a 'change in policy' and will not issue refunds for the CANCELED event, not postponed - CANCELED. Do not and I repeat DO NOT ever use this company! BBB complaints and class action is needed from all customers that have been lied to and taken advantage of.
An event was cancelled on March 14 due to Covid. They have not provided the refund. They are providing store credit. Lol and no events are being held now. So basically my hard earned money is with them until lockdown ends. Which i could use to get groceries or other necessities.
The customer care is terrible. Agents are not polite and end the chats abruptly.
And are not helpful at all.
This company has stated that "due to covid19" cancelations they will not refund my money for a show because to do so would " bankrupt" the company.
They in turn decided to give a "store credit" to the customers effected & that "store credit" must be used by a certain date. I explained that I being handicapped I don't & can't go to many shows & by our contract they must refund my purchase.
They have refused to honor the contract I agreed to & still will not return my money for a canceled show.
DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS CROOKED COMPANY WHO IS USING THE COVID19 CRISIS TO NOT HONOR THE CONTRACTS THEY FORCE US TO SIGN WHILE PURCHASING TICKETS! I AM WORKING WITH THE ALBUQUERQUE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST TICKETS-CENTER.COM TO RETURN THE MONEY SPENT BY CONSUMERS FOR SHOWS CANCELED!
Their website lies. The event was canceled due to covid and the venue was providing full refunds. Tickets center's website says it will give a refund but they emailed me that they would not and only offered a credit. I've filed a claim with the BBB. Update they gave me a refund. File a claim!
I agree with all the one-star comments here. I experienced the same situation. One month ago guaranteed me that I will receive a FULL REFUND if the event is canceled. Now the event was canceled. Then they give me store credits which I will never be able to use! After I called the customer service number and waited 30 minutes long, the person told me that Tickets-Center.com changed their refund policy without letting their customers know. I don't want to use this website anymore. I need my $484.50 back, not your 532.95 store credits! We should all gather up and sue this irresponsible company.
After taking 3 weeks post-cancellation of a concert, they finally got back to me about a refund and offered store credit... WE'LL BE LUCKY TO HAVE CONCERTS AGAIN BY 2021! Store credit and the lack of communication during covid-19 is absolutely unacceptable. Pretty much they're just holding onto my money till God knows when forcing me to use their service again when I was already unhappy with their ridiculous surcharges.
Horrible company values. First time purchasing ticket through this site. Thought it was safe as there was a 100% refund policy. Over $700 in NCAA tournament tickets that I've been told for 3 months would be refunded as soon as they get to my purchase. I've been very patient considering what is going on. Now I receive an email saying they have changed their policy and will be giving a credit in lieu of a refund. I don't want your credit. Not planning on going to any events for a long while. Beware of company, is communication and practices.
I was promised a full refund for my cancelled event that was not given. I DO Not want a store credit! I was advised in email March 17,2020 from Tickets-center that i would receive a full refund in 2-4 weeks since my event was cancelled! I have contacted them via phone, live chat & email over 2 months since then & was advised I will get it, it is just taking longer than normal. On May 20,2020 I received an email stating they changed their policy that I would only receive a store credit! This is not acceptable. This is a large amount of money that is needed and after what they have done, I will never buy through them ever again!
Due to COVID 19, the venue canceled the event, when I purchased these tickets per Tickets-center.com policy, if the venue canceled the event, monies would be refunded. After 2 months of emailing this company, I finally get a response stating that they have a NEW policy in place due to the PANDEMIC. Their new policy states since this is a widespread problem no refunds will be given ONLY store credits. How do you change a policy after the contract has been signed! Furthermore this company states this "credit" does have an expiration date but doesn't mention the ACTUAL date of expiration. Next, if the country is practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING, how or when can I use this "credit". Venues aren't allowing fans into their building, concerts are being canceled thoughout the year 2020 and there are no future dates planned. Tickets-center.com are not answering any calls, all replies are robotic and the emails are going unanswered. This company is the BIGGEST FRAUD, go elsewhere to purchase your tickets.
I purchased tickets to a rascal Flatts concert and because all concerts are being cancelled. They refuse to give you a refund and only give you online credit. I'm sorry but they take your money and don't refund. Very shaddy and WILL NOT order tickets online again
I requested a refund of $203.95 in March 2020 when Disney on Ice was cancelled. I received an email saying that my credit card account would be refunded on March 17,2020 stating in some cases tickets may have to be returned and refunds may take longer. I received a credit on April 20,2020 for a future Tickets-Center event for $224.34. On April 21, I received an email that Tickets-Center had revised their refund policy and would issue 110% credit instead of refund. I am elderly and have pre-existing conditions that impact my immune system. I let the company know that I will not be attending future mass events and the credit was meaningless. Feld Entertainment, the entity that markets Disney on Ice, gave full refunds to ticket purchasers, so this second market ticket seller was reimbursed, but will not reimburse me!
Son got caught up ordering tickets thru them when he thought he was on the local box office page. He was in line for the event before they sent him his tickets. Only phone tickets-cold not print or verify. Wasn't sure they would even be accepted. Paid 2x the going rate. He did not know if they would even sit together and where they might end up. Pandemic closures cancelled the event that same night. Was told 3/13/2020 refund would come in 2-4 weeks. Sent BBB after them. Again told 2-4 weeks refund 4/20/2020. Now 5/19 he finally hears from them and they won't refund. They changed their 100% full refund guarantee under which his tickets were purchased to store credit. They give store credit with no events to even schedule for possibly a year in our area. Says you have to use by expiration date but can't seem to find that date anywhere in his correspondence.
We purchased tickets in December 2019 for a show in April 2020 paying PREMIUM $$$ I might add. I get a notice that they are not refunding anything but giving a "store credit" that we must use within one year with NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT! No information on the website either. Now I have been trying for over an hour to get someone on a chat that was a wait time of 5 minutes. This is disgusting! Never again
After complaining for two months about refund for a canceled event and getting MLB team and AMEX involved I received an e-mail for "store credit" and a change in their policy after the fact. Don't trust this company as you are taking a huge risk. I have confirmed the person that was reselling the tickets on this site received a full refund for their tickets, therefore Tickets.com is holding my money hostage.
DO NOT
BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE Due to the Covid pandemic my event got canceled understandably so. However when I inquired as to my refund of 700+ for an event that I purchased. They do not give refunds they give credit with an expiration date. Within six months if this pandemic doesn't go away basically they kept my money and many other customers. How is this fair? Especially with what is going on right now? They are thieves disguised as a company beware
Unfortunately I purchased tickets through this 2nd party operator for Grand Ole Opry Tickets for May 15th. Due to Corvid-19 my show was cancelled. Despite lots of notice. I am still waiting for a refund of over $600.00. I get nothing but "sorry for the delay" reply of the web site. Please buy off the original website. This is a horrible and over inflated seat website service and offers nothing but crap service for refunds. Be Warned!
Been trying to get a refund since our event was cancelled on March 13. They finally (2 months later) issued a "credit". In my previous research on cancelled events it clearly stated a refund would be issued. Upon research tonight it appears they've suddenly changed their policies to say a credit will be given. Very shady especially given I've been trying for 2 months to get my refund.
I bought two tickets through Tickets-Center. The event was cancelled and Tickets-Center says they are keeping my money and only offering a credit. Where did the money go? I hope someone takes them to court. Never do business with Tickets-Center.
I bought two tickets to Super Cross for March 28th from Ticket-Center, back in January. It was cancelled due to COVID-19. I received an email telling me I would receive a full refund within 2-4 weeks. A month passed by so I called customer service. The representative told me that due to all the events being cancelled it would take longer for the refund to get to me and that she would email me more information that day. I never heard anything from her or Ticket-Center until TWO MONTHS LATER, which was an email telling me that they actually changed their cancellation policies due to COVID-19 and now they will be offering NO REFUNDS whatsoever but instead they are giving me store-credit at 110% of my original amount for a future event. They left me no option, and after everything I've gone through with them the last thing I want is to spend my money through their venue. I feel robbed of my money and I am going to be reporting them to the BBB and will never do business with them again.
Answer: They will not refund your money. They are scam artists who mimic real ticket sites and venue box offices and take advantage of consumers. They are dishonest and horrible and should not be operating.
Answer: You have to call or chat. They aren't very good at communicating and won't if you don't try to get in contact with them.
Answer: I was unfortunate enough to innocently purchase 2 tickets to a Broadway show through Ticket Center. I assumed I was purchasing tickets from the theatre not through this third party website. I asked for a refund and they said NO so I contacted my bank, the better business bureau, and getting a lawyer. This company needs to be shut down!
Answer: It is a problem they buy the cheapest seat they can find and when they send you the seat there isn't enough time to get it resolved or a refund. GET A REFUND if you can and go to Ticket Master or another real honest site. I paid 385.00 for a great seat yes one seat and deceived a 65.00 garbage seat in the back.
