Stay away from this company. They overcharged me for 3 tickets and wouldn't refund me my money when I requested that they do so. They just said sell the tickets yourself. If you dispute the charges with your credit card company, that will take months. They claim to have thousands of 5 star review but they failed to mentions all the bad ones.
If I could I'd give them a zero! This website acts as a legit and looks like a legitimate website when in fact it's just a bunch of scalpers who have policies in place so you can't get your money back. The picture is from Ticketmaster and they charged me 3X what it was worth. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS FROM THIS WEBSITE! Buyers beware!
TicketsCenter just scammed my 72 year old sister! She was in the ticket sales section for the venue. Somehow that led her to Tickets Center. Sis was nervous and tried to hurry because a timer came up telling her she only had 4 minutes to complete sale. She pressed the button to buy. I have contacted TicketSCAM Center and the credit card company. They will not refund or stop payment. My sister is on a fixed income. She is now in debt for over $400, which is 4 times the amount the venue is charging. TicketSCAM Center DID take advantage of my elderly sister. I am planning to write this review on every darn site I can, shout from the rooftops and find out how to be heard for their scamming senior citizens. Stay AWAY from these scammers!
As a third party vendor, TicketsCenter is hoping you'll buy quickly because you don't have the time to do further research. I was rushed, thought I was on MLB.com, and purchased tickets that were three times as expensive as the main site. They are not transferable or refundable. Lesson learned.
Wanted to order tickets to a performance in June at Dr Phillips Theater in Orlando. Went to their website or so I thought. But was apparently re-directed to ticker-center.com unknowingly. Placed order. When email received and showed it came from tickets-center.com and not directly from theater, did Google search to find out this place is a scam! Beware - do not place an order until you know for sure it is from the organization that you think you are ordering from.
Tickets-Center refuses to cancel tickets! But my credit card company has cancelled payment thank goodness.
I purchased two tickets to Pink Martini in March at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach in the rafters, balcony, supposedly the cheapest in the house@ $99 each. I thought I was on the Kravis Center site with their emblem. This site doesn't inform you in any way that they are "resellers," they of course try to look like Kravis Center. I know Pink Martini is popular but I was shocked at the price of tickets. I paid a total of $268,95 with handling fees from this site, when Kravis would have charged me $80.50. Tickets-center.com ripped me off $188.45! I appreciate that these "other" sites are in business to make more, and I screwed up, but this is EXTORTION. And I had to pick up the tickets in a long line, they didn't send them. Something has to give. There is actually a customer service, they are SOOO nice and sympathetic but I have to understand the arrangement. The corporate office is in Lewes DE but the BBB of FL says there is no physical office there. These people should be locked up.
Don't be fooled by this sham that is always first when you search a theater. They have tickets owned by others and then sell them to unsuspecting buyers for three times the price and by the time you realize you've been taken you're already screwed! They represent themselves as the theater and try downloading these tickets. BEWARE of this scam company. Not the theater or ticket master. Just a rip off joke who have stolen money from at least three people I know!
Tickets-Center.com is a ticket scalper and scammer. We used their website by mistake.
They design their websites to look official, in this case, the Santa Fe Opera.
We ordered tickets for July 3rd, *******. Tickets-Center.com charged us $414.95 for ticket with the face value of $104.00.
And, to make things worse, the seats are in the absolute last row in the building, in the upper balcony mezzanine.
The tickets are schedule not to be delivered until July 2nd, we would like to cancel our order, which is not allowed by Tickets-Center.com.
Disputing this charge is the only way to cancel this order.
They upcharge tickets to make money. It's a super shady site, do not buy from here! You're better off looking for tickets directly through Ticketmaster. We were up charged almost $200 for standing room only tickets that we could've purchased directly through Ticketmaster.
Scam site... you may get you Tickets but the prices are unbelievably inflated, and the cancellation process is practically none existent... Some how this organization has managed to come up as a first choice and appears to be the legitimate way to purchase Tickets for Keenland... they are not... this place is a complete rip off... wish I could give it less than one star
If I could rate this company lower, I would. I purchased Kennedy Center tickets from a link which I thought was the direct website. Instead I clicked on TicketsCenter which was a reseller. I was charged $168 per ticket, for seats that retail for $49.00 from the venue. There were $297.00 in fees on top of the ticket cost. So I paid $466.99 for tickets that should have cost $98.00. Mea culpa for being such an idiot, but don't be me. Avoid this vendor.
Do NOT BUY from this company! They do not take care of their customers. They just take their money and run. They just took $1000 from me. Their "contact us" button did not work in the email that they sent. So they just took the money. They only want your money. They will not take care of you!
Like many, I used Google to find tickets for an event that I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with for her birthday. The site, Tickets-Center came out on top of the page. It appeared to be affiliated with the venue that is hosting the event. I purchased the tickets at what I thought was fair market value. After receiving my order summary I realized that Tickets Center was not affiliated with the venue and that I overpaid substantially for the tickets. I clicked on a link from that email and it stated that I could receive a refund for a fee of $25 as long as I did not receive my tickets yet which I have not. I sent 2 emails requesting a refund to which no one responded. The following day, the company sent an email stating my tickets were available, still not addressing my refund request. I felt that this was very sketchy considering I requested a refund and according to the original email, I wouldn't receive my tickets until 3/21. Clicked on another link in that email and it seemed that it took me to a different site than originally visited. I again requested a refund. The company responded within a few hours and denied that refund. The only solution they came up with was to re-sell the tickets which is unacceptable.
Their site is misleading as is their refund policy. They do make it look like they are affiliated with the venue and their links take you to different sites with different terms for refunds. I will make sure to let EVERYONE in my network know not to use Tickets-Center.
I tried to cancel this transaction within 5 minutes of completion and they refused. I have no tickets to show for the transaction and still nothing. Avoid this company at all costs.
This company is a scam and does not openly disclose during the purchase process that the tickets are reseller tickets and marked up more than 2x the cost!
Our show was cancelled 3hrs before the start. Won't refund because not 'official' cancellation SCAM!
I made a mistake and order through their web site and overpaid for the tickets. Called the company to see if I could cancel and got a big NO!
Sharks! Absolutely overcharged me by nearly $200. Never even again will I use ticket-center. Strongly advising everyone to go to Ticketmaster since they're legit!
Ordered tickets to Yankee game.We never got them.4 times we called they told us we had them and we didn't.they wouldn't listen just read from a script. We asked to talk to manager and they wouldn't connect us to one.It was beyond frustrating.i give them zero stars.Just horrific service Wouldnt use them if they gave us free tickets. They wouldn't refund our tickets
Answer: They will not refund your money. They are scam artists who mimic real ticket sites and venue box offices and take advantage of consumers. They are dishonest and horrible and should not be operating.
Answer: You have to call or chat. They aren't very good at communicating and won't if you don't try to get in contact with them.
Answer: I was unfortunate enough to innocently purchase 2 tickets to a Broadway show through Ticket Center. I assumed I was purchasing tickets from the theatre not through this third party website. I asked for a refund and they said NO so I contacted my bank, the better business bureau, and getting a lawyer. This company needs to be shut down!
Answer: It is a problem they buy the cheapest seat they can find and when they send you the seat there isn't enough time to get it resolved or a refund. GET A REFUND if you can and go to Ticket Master or another real honest site. I paid 385.00 for a great seat yes one seat and deceived a 65.00 garbage seat in the back.
