Never use this site!
The worst customer service.
I sat on hold for more than an hour after being transferred and sent around. TERRIBLE!
When I finally spoke to someone they were useless.
Lousy app and customer service. They keep rescheduling the concert for three years. And I am not able to resell the ticket or get a refund. Never using Ticketmaster again.
Do not buy tickets from Ticketmaster. It was the worst experience in my life dealing with a company. Bottom line I paid $1000 for 14 football tickets to a college game in March 2023 this was 7 months before the game. Ticketmaster told me the tickets would be delivered the day of the game or the day before the game because they have to wait for the original owner of the tickets to send me the tickets when he gets around to it. I had 14 people coming to this game, traveling, taking off from work, hotels, gas, food and my whole trip depends on hopefully this person I have never met sending me the tickets the day of the game? You cant call anyone, you have to text people from other countries that tell you the same thing over and over. I was told that if for some reason I dont get my tickets in time they will refund my tickets. Mean while I am sitting in a hotel with my family expecting to go to this game at the school I graduated from. What happens if the person is sick, forgets to send them, gets in a car wreck, anything. Ticketmaster finally sent me my tickets because I made such a big deal out of it. Do yourself a favor there are other very professional companies that I will use in the future. Ticketmaster could care less about you and you actually making it to the event, they get paid and if something like this happens you will not be reimbursed for your loss on the cost of the ticket. Horrible way to treat your customers.
Yes, I get that they need to be paid too. But charging so many fees on-top of their establishment fees is ridiculous, and there's no justification as to why they're doing it.
Let's break it down, shall we?
Here's what I have CURRENTLY:
$45.00 x 2 (for the ticket itself)
Bull$#*! fees
$10.60 (Service Fee) x 2
$2.00 (Facility Charge) x 2
$3.75 Order Processing Fee
Twenty dollars for a service fee? Is that a joke? "But they need money to run their domain!". Yes, and that's easily accomplished by charging less than a dollar for every ticket they sell. These people have a monopoly on the industry, so you're paying them to allow them to service you? Lol. TicketMaster negotiates it's profit margin with the venue. So their profit margin can go from as much as 8% to 100%.
And until recently, they have now allowed you to print your own ticket at home... For free. Yes, they used to charge you for that too.
People justifying these prices either didn't have them affect them (which is insane), have heaps of money, or are generally apathetic. If they wanna justify spending those fees on top of an already high base price, that's their prerogative.
Purchased tickets to deep purple in Detroit right when they went on sale, even picked out my seats at the venue that I have frequented many times. Reviewed my order over and purchased. Receipt printed out, only to be for a show in Virginia! I called and after being on hold for 40 min, was told they could not refund me because they were resale tickets! I never clicked anything for resale and not to mention the obvious fact that I don't live in Virginia and that's not even what I clicked to buy. The woman on the phone says my situation happens all the time. If that's true, then this has to be some kind of scam on their website. I know what I bought and I did not pick out seats for a completely different venue and a different date altogether. Now I'm have to resell these tickets in hopes to get my money back, meanwhile Ticketmaster will even make money on those tickets as well! This crap can't be legal! And after reading other reviews, I feel like a newscaster should be contacted. Something is totally wrong with this company
I purchased tickets for a game through their Ticket Center on line purchase center, almost $3 K. They sent me a link to download and I could not. Their find ticket app did not work even though I have purchased before using. Their call in center recognized my order number but no tickets. I called multiple times, was put on hold for 55 minutes first time, then a second time for 35 minutes, they asked for a different email address which I gave them, then switched to copy link by turning off Wi-Fi on phone and lost my connection as a result. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Do not use. TOTALLY SCREWED UP OPS.
Absolute worse customer service in the web world; their main number was busy all day today, their FAQ does not work. If at all possible avoid Ticketmaster.
I purchased tickets through Seat Geek who transfered my tickets from Ticketmaster. I had a family emergency and tried to resale my tickets as I cannot go to concert. I followed their system to resale tickets but it doesnot allow me to finish the listing. I contracted them through their chat and after multiple tries and days later it still does not work. They have noone to talk to to help. Their customer service SUCKS! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
My tickets to Coldplay vancouver voided suddenly without any notification.I talked to customer service at Ticketmaster and they said the original purchaser decided to get a refund and they refunded him. He said ticket master has no control over their accounts and if the original purchase or decides to get refund for the tickets at any point, even after he them he can! The original purchaser is a friend and I bought the ticket through transfer option on Ticketmaster at original price; he says he never asked for a refund. As we both are following up on this, I am concerned about how TM is managing our accounts! No matter who I bought these tickets from, the tickets were in my account a couple of weeks ago and they belonged to me. Ticketmaster failed to provide security to me as a ticket holder; they decided to refund the first purchaser, when doing so they failed to see that the tickets are in somebody else's account; but they did not fail to remove them from that person's account! Can you believe that?
I guess this is the way they want to stop tickets being sold on black market so they are the ones who can sell tickets two times and more expensive for the second time. This is the last time I will buy from Ticketmaster. Shame!
And never trust the transfer option on TM app and TM as a whole!
"Easily transfer your tickets on Ticketmaster.com or the app" – I spent half an hour or more last night pulling my hair trying to "easily transfer" tickets to other members of my family. Turns out they had to create Ticketmaster accounts to accept them – and then the tickets are still accessible only on the web unless one downloads YET ANOTHER app. Not everyone has 128 gigs of storage space on their phone.
And don't get me started on all the extra fees. $25 worth of tickets cost $46. And now I found out student tickets to this event are, in fact, free thanks to Kennebec Savings Bank and I could have purchased the tickets – WITHOUT FEES – at the venue. But, of course, there's no refund option. Ticketmaster has the absolute worst online ticketing system and is a thief.
Also, there's no email option to contact them unless it's about three very specific issues.
HIGHLY UNIMPRESSED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
I waited for a long time to get the BTS Permission to Dance Tickets but Ticketmaster sold them all out during the presale when they are supposed to only sell a certain amount each day so general admission also has a chance. I'm so disappointed, now people are reselling them for 5x the price.
Tried to buy tickets today w/a presale code. The ticketmaster website wouldnt let me buy tickets so I called customer service. I explained I was in the process of trying to buy tickets but the site wont let me! They hemhawed around making me try different things like signing in and out and trying incognito mode to try to get their site to work! Nothing worked! They finally told me that pre sale was over! Whick was an absolute F**cing lie! Ticketmaster then just told me to go back on the sale day. WHAT F**cing good is that? Worthless scumbags
I recently went to Tickermaster to buy tickets for a hockey game in Seattle. I don't know why I did this but ended buying tickets for the wrong rows. The problem is the tickets I bought were some that weren't available for the event. The map show the tickets available for resale and regualer ones that you can buy. Ticketmaster let me buy tickets that weren't available and charged me for them. Also it showed that these were verified seats. As you know thier customer service is really bad.
Worst experience with an app I've ever had. MLB baseball please change vendors. I won't buy any more MLB tickets through your site until you stop using Ticketmaster.
I wish there was a - star rating - they do not even deserve a '1'. Just a simple purchase of 2 Blue Jays tickets for a friends Birthday turned into a disaster for us. After horrible service from 'Ticket Sales' we were sent to 'Ticket Master' both. Ca and. Com having to reset passwords (over 16 times) kept trying different emails to try and start over... They do not accept paper tickets (because of all the fraud out there- so again "good folk" suffer! Trying to transfer for a birthday gift ended up as 4 hours of HELL where the Birthday Boy was almost willing to give up seeing the Yankees for all the problems caused. All this with hundreds of dollars of fees charged, no way of contacting them - no phone numbers, no returned emails, no chats for help! It is the most ridiculous set up ever! You'd think after all these years of ROBBING us with fees- we'd at least be able to download a ticket in less than 4 hours. It was HELL and I'm mad at the Blue Jays of MLB for forcing us to purchase this way instead of just easy for what is supposed to be a 'relaxing past time'! You're all creating this horrible world now upon us!
Terrible service... or rather NO SERVICE... just grab the cash and run! SAD sad sad... your Mothers would be disappointed!
I hoped to purchase 3 tickets for Jeff Lynne in concert. I knew it would be pricy, but hoped for one with a $100. Price tag (or less). Prices started at $116. Way back, but not 3-you had to purchase in groups of 2 only. Then they rush you through the system expecting you have actually read the Fine Print. HA! You fill out all spaces including your credit number, just before the last fine line
"all tickets in US Dollars. Gee Thanks. Put the tickets from 232. To 315. With the exchange. OK. Then I go to my emails to se if I actually have them. It says that I do, but I will get NO Ticket or receipt. I MUST take my cell to show the ticket purchase. I guess they are much to busy counting the money to actually sent them or let you pick them up. What if your cell is broken or battery dead? Lastly they decided to charge me $ 440.00 Huh? No explanation and I'm sure that No Handling Fee can be $ 125.THIS IS AN INDUSTRY THAT NEEDS TO BE AUDITED AND DESTROYED BEFORE THESE CONS CAN SCAM ANYONE ELSE: SCUM OF THE EARTH>
I purchased tickets for my brother's 65th birthday and the tickets never arrived, so I went online and it said they were processing, so I called and they said the tickets will be available on the night of the event. Got there and showed my proof of payment, seat numbers, all of it and they said the tickets weren't uploaded from Ticketmaster. I called Ticketmaster and they said they use a third party ticket agency and are not responsible. But it gets better. I asked for the third party's info to contact them and they wouldn't provide it. I just ate $370 and a blown birthday night with my brother. Tough pill to swallow. And now I'm dealing with their customer relations department in India and they couldn't care less and are washing their hands of it. So I'm stuck.
I purchased tickets for an event and parking at the same event. While purchasing the tickets for the main event, there was a typo when entering email address. Therefore, I could not see the tickets in my log in. I have been trying to move them to correct email address by contacting their "fan club service desk". And it has been a nightmare. The person/s responding to my emails either do not understand English or they are simply stupid. Even after proving exact details of which order no needs to be moved to which email - log in, they moved a my another ticket order to a new account. Now, the tickets with wrong email are still missing and they are telling me that they can't merge the accounts. This service does not have any phone lines where I can talk to someone and explain the situation. It feels like some bot is responding to my emails with canned messages based on keywords and it sucks at it because it keeps saying the same thing. I have been doing this back and forth for last 3 weeks now and there is no light at the end of this tunnel.
I have been findings avenues to provide this feedback and Ticketmaster just does not have any customer facing means of contact. If you are trying to purchase tickets via Ticketmaster, please reconsider and find other providers. A simple issue can cause you so much headache that it is not worth choosing this service. I wish I could give them 0 stars in the rating.
Attached is Ticketmaster's response after I bought SIX tickets to a show, each showing UNobscured view on the ticket...but then they moved the soundboard team DIRECTLY in front of us where we couldn't see like 70% of the stage (could see parts of each end, where no one ever was).
Worst company on earth
They sold me the incorrect tickets and would not change to correct tickets or refund my money. Their customer service is rude and not helpful at all. Never use these people. Go to Stubhub!
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
