First, glad I took the time to look here. Maybe this is a blessing. There is a concert coming up this Sat I really want to see. Need 3 tickets, so I got to the theaters website, click the link which brings me to ticketmaster. Filled in their sign up form only to get an error "something went wrong." NO CLUE WHAT! How can I fix "something"? Now it's possible I used them once before, it would have been many years ago. So how about "that name already has an account" or some such thing? Nope, not a clue.
Tried calling them. "due to high call volume." and I'm given the option to use their automated ticket ordering thing, and why would I go through that if I already know "something went wrong?" OR visit their website. (now this one always gets me. WHY would I be CALLING if I could do something on your broken website?)
Or try again later and click. Cut right off. HOW do businesses stay in business when they can't get enough help to pick up the phone? Not even a call back option? Nothing? I tried later, got the same circle and click.
The theater box office of course is not open and doesn't take orders over the phone. SWELL!
While searching for another way to contact SOMEONE SOMEWHERE at ticket master, I started reading reviews. Horrible ones. Came here to sitejabber, and found even more. Maybe it's a good thing I never got through. I think I'll make an extra hour drive and just go buy them in person. Thanks to everyone before me who posted their horror stories. Probably saved me some money by not ordering online.
LIARS, DO NOT TRUST, SPENT HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR A CONCERT ONLY TO HAVE THE SEATING CHART CHANGED AND MY SEATS MUCH FURTHER AWAY FROM STAGE THEN WHAT I PURCHASED. CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS OH YES SOME VENUES WILL CHANGE THERE SEATING CHARTS AROUND, WELL THAT IS BS, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM TICKETMASTER AGAIN... BUYER BEWARS
Terrible... from overcharging to not being able to get product after prucahse... lady who helped me at the ballpark said this was a common occurrence...
Ticketmaster in SG is just totally crap, totally can't handle huge crowds, and became the holy land for scalpers with bots to help them purchase tickets
I purchased $400 worth of tickets on 06/05/21 for an event scheduled 04/16/22. It was not until after Ticketmaster collected the money for my MOBILE tickets, which do not require printing, mailing, etc., that I got a notice that my mobile tickets would not be available in my account for more than 10 months - just a few days prior to the actual event. This is clearly intended so that any resales basically have to go through their own reselling site, so that they get to collect yet more fees for tickets. I purchased tickets, and do not have them. I was not provided warning that I would not actually be given tickets for 10 months, and that if I wanted to resell them it would have to be through their own site, prior to purchase. I would not have purchased them, had I known. This is a mobile ticket, after all... there is no other reason they should not be made immediately available. Ticketmaster has a very, very, very long history of continual immoral, unscrupulous, and illegal business practices, screwing both the performer and the customer at every turn, which is why both performers and customers hate having to deal with them. And this is yet another in that long line of Ticketmaster frauds and scams.
I attended the BCU Vs FAMU Florida Blue Classic today. When I arrived, the seats that I purchased (row) had been removed due to construction. I was unable to get new seats and was informed that I will not receive a refund. This is some BS and very unprofessional.
If you request a ticket, you cannot see a seats,
Tickets delivered only as a mobile version one day before event.
I received them (total $300) without scan code.
I recently had a terrible experience with Ticketmaster when my New York Yankees baseball game was canceled due to weather conditions. I reached out to their customer support, hoping for a solution. However, the support team failed to assist me adequately.
First, they provided me with an expired credit code that I couldn't use for rescheduled tickets. When I tried to redeem it, I received an error message stating the code was no longer valid. This is unacceptable! How can they issue a credit with an expiration date in the past?
Despite multiple attempts to get a resolution, I received inconsistent and unhelpful responses from their customer support team. They seemed uninterested in resolving my issue and failed to provide a proper solution.
As a software engineer with a background in technology, I understand that errors can happen, but it's the company's responsibility to rectify them promptly and provide a satisfactory resolution to their customers. Sadly, Ticketmaster fell short in this regard.
I urge fellow ticket buyers to exercise caution when dealing with Ticketmaster. Their lack of support and poor customer service have left me deeply disappointed. I expected better from a company of their stature.
Three days ago, I bought 4 tickets for the Rolling Stones concert in LA on October 17th. Total cost = $2100 which includes a $400 service charge for the 4 tickets, or $100 service charge per ticket—but that's only my secondary complaint!
After purchase, tickets arrive via text and suddenly, there is a notice that we spent $2100 for an OBSTRUCTED VIEW! WTF? Are you kidding me? Talk about bait & switch! Talk about fraud & misrepresentation!
I immediately started calling TicketMaster &, in a nutshell, here's what they said was the ONLY solution: The TM agents want me to go to the Apple Store and buy a $2100 gift card; call them back; and the agents can the exchange our tickets using the Apple card! WTF? Is this a joke? Since the tickets are already paid for—and, admittedly, they can exchange the tickets, then why must I go to the Apple store and buy a $2100 gift card?
This morning, another TM agent called me to ask if I got the Apple gift card. I said, no, I can't do the Apple gift card until they refund my money! Agent replies: it will take 7-10 days to get a refund! WTF?
Ticketmaster has intentionally defrauded me & mine. This is beyond outrageous! $2100 for 4 obstructed view seats without warning? As I told the last agent who called, I am an attorney and i will file a lawsuit against TM on Monday morning. There is no way I am going to let this slide. All I want is an even exchange of tickets for good seats…and without the gift card!
What a terrible company, website, you name it! How does it happen that when I go to select tickets, their horrible website states that they're unable to process your request. Further, I go to call to SPEAK TO SOMEONE and all I get is automated responses which are utterly USELESS. I hope this company goes out of business and someone else takes over. I can't even begin to explain my frustration. Oh, and don't bother calling their customer service department unless you have all day to be put on hold, only to finally speak to someone who DOESN'T EVEN SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS. USELSS, USELESS COMPANY!
Ticketmaster advertised bundle tickets on wrestle mania date for three event bundle and failed to indicate that the tickets are not for wrestle mania! Not until I received my emailed tickets did I see that the tickets are not for wrestle mania! They never indicated what the bundle was for, however logic and the date would imply wrestle mania!
This was a birthday present so I immediately (moments after purchase) tried to exchange tickets. Three + weeks later, videos of the issue, photos of their failure to show that the tickets for sale on wrestle mania are not for wrestle mania: still no money back. Nothing but run arounds, transfers to different departments and more emails! I am utterly disgusted! They admitted to the error but insisted on proof of repurchase before refunding me. What if I don't have an extra $1200 to throw on tickets!?
I happen to have purchased tickets but as it was under my husband's name, I was transferred to a whole other department for more waiting and run around! Utterly insane!
If you buy tickets on-line or on phone and there is a problem or you want to resell them, good luck getting any service. You will spend hours on the phone looking for help and it won't come too soon!
You can call between 12 -14 but it's to busy the answering machine says You get a voicemail system and they disconnect your call
Never had a problem with Ticketmaster until the Iron Maiden concert in Chicago on October 5,2022. I bought a $420.00 seat that was 3 rows away from the stage. I got to my seat and there was a wall that took up the view of the stage, it was a part of Iron Maidens set. I could only see a 12 inch strip of the stage from where I sat. I missed the first couple songs when Iron Maiden took the stage because I went to the ticket counter to complain since I could not see anything. The guy that was at the United Center ticket counter was not helpful at all. He asked what I wanted, I told him I wanted to see the concert. He gave me a ticket that was worth $99.50. After the concert I walked back to the hotel and immediately called Ticketmaster to get a refund of the difference on the price of tickets. I was told by a Ticketmaster employee that it was not possible since the event was over. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute of charges. I can no longer purchase tickets thru Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster has a monopoly on ticket sales.
TICKETMASTER purchases tickets at times from 3rd party vendors. It is impossible to get a refund if a venue has been POSTPONED...Even tho the performers are not available at the time of your purchase and venue date, they indicate "postponed" and refuse to refund your money as it is not a CANCELLED event. Also, no where on your ticket does it indicate any vendor except Ticketmaster and the 3rd party vendors will screw indicating "postponed" instead of cancelled so you can't get your money back. Never again!
Be very aware!
I was unable to track down a live support channel and the online support options were god awfully inept. I'll go through stub hub before I buy another ticket through ticket master.
If it was possible I'd give them 0 stars. Sold my tickets a month ago at a loss and they still haven't paid my money. $350.00 and they keep giving excuses, unbelievable
We were booking Adam Sandler for her birthday as a huge surprise because she NEVER asks to go to concerts or show due to her PTSD but lately she expressed she would like to see Adam Sandler since it was going to be in the city we live in (Fresno CA) and if she started to have issues, she would be able to exit quietly and be home within 15 minutes. I never bought tickets before and somehow i made a huge mistake and the instant i seen it was San Jose, i contacted them, they were so cruel and helpful for mayne one minute them said to bad.
I began ordering two tickets to a Broadway show on the Ticketmaster website, website crashed before I completed the order. I brought the website up again, ordered the tickets and completed the order. Wound up being charged for four tickets. Immediate call to Ticketmaster customer service, they refused to fix the overcharge. Had my credit card company appeal the charges, result after two months was they lost the appeal. Am out $450 dollars. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE TICKETMASTER IF I CAN POSSIBLY HELP IT.
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
