I've been so pleased with thredUP's services. From purchased items, fast answers to emails, delivery time & all points in between. Maybe it's just me but I find the obvious care put into preparing packages for shipping so charming. A bonus detail that I appreciate.
So far, so good. I've ordered 7 items from ThredUp and have received 5. All five pieces were in like-new condition and were as described on the site. Note that I would probably purchase more, but so many items do not include measurements that it's too risky. Other than that, I've been very pleased with my experience shopping here. It's a unique way to get high quality clothing at a fraction of the retail price.
I have gotten some really nice clothes on ThredUp for a real bargain. I couldn't justify paying full price for these items in retail, but getting like new items second hand for a huge discount has allowed me to expand my wardrobe (with style) without breaking the bank. I have had to return a couple things but the process was easy and customer service is very responsive.

I ordered all of my siblings something from here this year. I waited last minute when I ordered it so I paid for the two day delivery to get it here two days before Christmas. However, two days AFTER Christmas my package finally arrived. It was the first time i could afford to get everyone something for Christmas and thanks to Thredup it was late. I have not shopped since, and I don't plan on ever shopping with them again. I spent $11 extra to have my packaged delivered four days late.
In my experience, I have found that the sizes are not always correct. I ordered several belts this last order and all but one were too small. If they would have been the size that the web site said they were, then they would have fit. I also ordered a coat, with my first order, that was listed in the women's and when it came in it was a little girls coat.

I ordered several items and among them a sweater listed as a size Medium. When it got here, the packing slip said medium but the sweater was actually a size Small. It's just too much hassle to return it for store credit. I am disappointed with this careless mistake.
