I bought a hair trimmer by mistake. I thought it was a hair trimmer. I returned the package and they charged me $57.00 for opening the box. Rip off artist stay away
Recently made a purchase for a hair trimmer through a third party website called Belk. Package arrived damaged and trimmer had hair! Up on further searching I can confirm that the hair trimmer has been used and repackaged. Item came with extra blade and a free comb but now I'm wondering if that's the reason why it came with an extra blade. If you're sending out used items please make sure your vendors note that in their description!
Thanks
They sent the wrong item and refused to reimburse plus I had to pay to ship it back. Everyone I dealt with was rude and did not help, I left numerous messages for the manager with no returned phone call or email. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! Go elsewhere to purchase anything!
I ordered some Bluetooth Sony headphones. They came shipped just fine and are working well, brand new shrink wrapped. While the packaging was a little weak (just a sleeve around the box) I really don't care, it's just a box. For some of you that love to resell your used gear just fyi. The price was unbeatable at Ted's and my item works fantastic. I'm definitely going to consider buying other electronics from here in the future.
Very poor approach to customers. Placed order, some number I have no idea whom it was called, woke me up, demanding personal information over the phone. When asked to repeat my address, cancelled my order. Very rude woman. Not worth the trouble to use this company.
We are a NY based company we work only 9-5, we need to verify the transaction for fraud and was cancelled since customer did not want to take the call as its claimed in feedback...
False Advertising! They play the bait and switch game. Ted offers you a higher tier product at a competitive price and then offer you a partial refund for the lesser item you receive. I purchased a Zoom Microphone that included Zoom Headphones. The product I received did not include the headphones. They then offered me a $12 credit instead of sending me the headphones, which means the Headphones cost more than $12 dollars. If I didn't already use the mike, I would send it back, but who has all of the extra time to even write this crappy review. I should have looked them up, but I needed the setup right away. Never buy anything in a hurry without investigating the online store, first. If I had seen their review score, I wouldn't have wasted my time to save $20, i didn't really need to save. But they know we always go for the best price, especially if the products are the same. Lesson reinforced, because I knew better. Shame on me.
I ordered a digital camera from this company for my daughter's birthday. I received an email stating that it was shipped by USPS and delivered to my home. No package ever came. I reached out to Ted's customer service team and was told that I needed to deal with USPS, as they show the package is delivered. They offered no other assistance at all. After an entire week, the package is still not here & USPS is saying they do not have it either. Ted's is refusing to refund me, as the shipping confirmation said it was delivered. Terrible customer service and completely unhelpful on trying to resolve this issue for me. I will never order or recommend this company to anyone.
Ted's is a deceiving merchant. I bought an expensive camera that would not focus. They failed to advertise it was manufactured overseas. I sent it back for repair, and when they returned it, it still did not work. I told them I wanted a refund, but they denied it. They advertised it on Walmart, and that should have been a red flag to begin with. Now I am forced to pursue my legal options. These crooks should be forced to shut down.
We stand behind our customers and products but when camera comes back wet internally we aren't responsible.
Bought a canon powershot camera. Real damn helpful when trying to figure out how this thing works, when the only manual they send with it is in japanese... not. You could have at least sent a copy in english!
My son bought a camera from this guy. He sent the item, item was returned to seller by post office. He didn't labels the box correctly so it scanned incorrectly. He received the camera, didn't ship back and stole my sons money! Do not use this seller!
They sent me an email saying the products had been shipped. I told them I was going to return them as I had ordered the wrong thing. They were magically able to get the shipment back from the shipping company but refused to give me a refund. They have told me several times over the last two weeks that my money has been refunded but I have not.
This store is a bunch of scammers, this one sold me a camera like new and it was defective through Ebay and despite the fact that they gave me a guarantee or replacement letter that they sent before the purchase, they don't want to honor it and they don't want to return the money
We bought 5 Sony headsets 6 months ago - their claim that if anything causes an issue we'll make it right being an appeal. One unit has failed. The email address to which I reported the isse bounced - I eventually got one through and in the meantime contacted theor phone number. Th CSR told me to speak to Sony, gave me the number after a long delay, and then huung up. In the meanwhile I had received an email form the store - and it was from a "Do not reply" address at Shopify. This is not worth saving a couple of dollars for
They are sneaky and sell refurbished or used parts. Be very careful they are scammers. They advertise the item as new but sell used or refurbished items. Just received a shaver and it is defective and used. Box was not sealed and the box content is tampered with. I can see they tried to do a good job cleaning the piece but you can tell this is used.
On their website there is no place to process automatic returns. You have to email them to get an RMA. They state you have to ship back at your cost and they reserve the right to keep 5-15% of your funds. No wonder they are the cheapest online because they are not truthful about their listings. Do NOT BUY
I just received a Tamron 70-300 for a Sony E mount from Ted's. First time I've bought from them and I will admit to running a little nervous from all the negative reviews. But, any worry was not warranted in my case. I bought the lens on Saturday, it was shipped with tracking Monday and arrived today (Thursday).
Looking at the box and packaging, it was all as I would expect for a new lens. The lens also looked as expected. I just shot about 10 snaps with my A7IV and it also shoots exactly as expected.
I got a really good price on the lens and I'm pleased with Ted's performance and product.
BTW: I've been buying lenses for decades and have some idea of what I'm about.
Ted's is a third party vender through Newegg. I received an email from Ted's advising my headphones had been delivered. They were not and I later learned from Newegg they were delivered to the wrong address. The only response I received from Ted's was that I was outside the return window for the (not) delivered item. I notified them of the non-delivery the very next day. Newegg took 21 days to refund out of their pocket. Ted's was identified by the first Newegg customer service representative as a problem company. I'll buy from neither in the future.
I ordered a Nikon Z50 body with just the FTZ adapter since I already had lenses for $800 which is normally about $1000 everywhere else. I live in Florida and felt as if Ted's was great. I called them to check on the shipping and had great customer service as well.
I read reviews on the site and found a bunch of bad ones, but honestly, I had no problem with how things went. In fact, the package was delivered earlier than expected and had no defects whatsoever. Don't believe the reviews, the site is awesome if you're trying to get a deal.
Please do not buy anything from Ted's Electronics. I spent $500 on a DSLR camera which broke in the third month of use. I wrote to Ted's, they sent me a confirmation of warranty, and I followed their directions explicitly to send my camera back and have it fixed. They received it august 12th. I have been emailing them and calling them since then. A few weeks ago the messages started on their phone, Ted's is closed today and tomorrow, call back day after. I do that, and again, Teds is closed. Etc. No responses, they are always closed, and my camera, along with $500 is gone.
I recently shopped with Teds Electronics, and am extremely unsatisfied with my experience. I bought a set of hair clippers on January 1st this year. Now fast forward to February 3rd when my fiancé received them for his birthday and they are ridiculously loud making it an unpleasant experience for his costumers. His coworkers who have the same one said that theirs is not that loud. When I contacted them to try and receive any sort of credit or refund, they immediately responded to tell me they won't do anything sense it's been 30 days since the date of purchase. I was aware that I may not get much in return because of how long it had been since the purchase, but I wasn't expecting to be completely be turned down right off the bat with no help whatsoever. Now I'm stuck with a nearly $200 set of faulty clippers and not even a credit on their site.
Customers needs and has plenty time to check / test their orders within 30 day return period. After the return period they may go to manufacturer for warranty. And even within the return period its not the fault of reseller when customer don't like a product.
We purchased a Canon EOS Rebel camera from Ted's electronics and it arrived with the box seal already broken. The product description on the outside of the box was written in Portuguese and the camera charger was a type C plug with two round pins which won't work in U.S. outlets. Ted's did not indicate on its website that the camera we were purchasing 1-was not intended for the U.S. market; 2-may have been previously used; 3-did not include a warranty. Despite their failure to provide us with the product as described on their website, Ted's deducted $16 from our refund to cover a so-called "restocking fee." We are also out $23 for the cost of the return.
Answer: Hi, TEDS does not carry any used nor refurbished products at all! Our items are brand new, unused.
Answer: Not all items does have, i would recommend you should add a Mack warranty, you can find it on the site
Answer: 3rd party seller of Rakuten.com. It had cheapest price. I purchased based on reputation of Rakuten.com.
Answer: It has been almost 30 days, and I have not received my camera.
