I am so surprised and delighted with my experience in purchasing my rug from ThePerfectRug. I honestly never thought ordering on line would be a good experience, but this certainly was. I am very happy with the whole event, and thank everyone concerned.
My rug is the first wool rug I have owned, and I regret purchasing the wool. I have owned this rug for several months and I'm still picking up wool tumble weeds. I wish I had know what to expect. I do not have a problem with the customer service. The size was perfect.
I had The Perfect Rug send me a variety of rug samples from which to choose. I received all of those samples and was able to make my buying decisions on that basis. It turned out to be a very efficient and cost effective way to proceed.
When I got my rugs they looked great but the corners would not lie down. I had to order another item from amazon to make this happen so the cost of the rugs went up. I would have thought the Perfect Rug people would send those to me without me having to buy.

Our quest for a rug to fit our oversized entryway led us to this site. The website was easy to use - giving us a variety of options. I reached out via email for an expected delivery date and received a response in a couple of days. Our rug came within the given timeframe. It's a great quality rug and we wouldn't hesitate to use it again.
Frustrating that my password would not be accepted after multiple attempts to reset it. Also had to call Customer Service to find pad recommendations. Otherwise, was quite satisfied products (samples)and service received.
The colors were not even close to what was on the website... I was looking for gray, they are all brown. Given the price I paid and the time I waited for the samples and how inaccurate the photos on the website are, I am not interested in trying any other samples.
Samples arrived quickly. I liked the pattern on the rug, but the serged edge had fine frayed fibers in areas, as if it had been rubbed along a rough surface.
Didn't happen as fast as I expected, and I bought carpet elsewhere.
After not receiving rug we initially purchased, this rug arrived with a horrible smell that lingered for months. The material is awful and cannot be cleaned - even carpet cleaning companies will not touch it. Customer Service is of zero help. Find your custom rug elsewhere!

We purchased rug for our kitchen that was a tripping hazard so it is now rolled up in the box and sitting in my garage. We don't even want to give it to someone for free because of our concerns. We have many seagrass rugs(from other companies) and this is by far the worst.
I've been waiting over two months for my rug. They shipped it to the wrong part of the country. I tracked it down through the freight company myself because the people at Perfectrug do not return calls as promised. I think my rug got shipped back to perfect rug and should be coming my way but I have received no updates from the company. I asked to cancel my order but was told no. Meanwhile, they have had my $1,200 for months and I have nothing to show for it. Find a different custom rug company!
I placed an order in April for 2 custom sized small runners. Estimated delivery was 2nd week of May. I emailed them on 5/31 to inquire and was told I would receive a shipping notification by end of that week or early following week. No shipping notice has been sent to date. Additionally no response to the 2 follow up emails and voicemail left with customer service. It is now mid June and I still don't have my order. I will be contacted my credit card company as they charged me in full back in April so I will have to go through a process to get my money back on a statement that is now 2 months old and already paid.
Love the rug and pad. Came as described and in perfect condition. Would highly recommend the rug to family and friends. My only complaint with my purchase, was the lack of communication of receipt of order, what the shipping time would be, etc. Once I reached out to the customer service department with my questions they did promptly respond with this information.
Other than having to hire the window washers to raise the rug up 12 floors because it wouldn't fit in the elevator, it was smooth sailing!
Excellent quality at a very good price, this rug is not big but it is what I needed, and it was not possible to find on a regular rug company. I love that you can build whatever you need to have, and the result is always great,
The rugs are nice, except for the size variance is noticeable especially because we are using the same 2 rugs side by side. When I reached out to customer service inquiring about specs and materials they responded rahter quickly, but after I purchased the two rugs and wrote them an email to ask about something about the carpets, they never responded. Kinda felt left "hung out to dry", pun intended. Rugs are nice though and they came well packaged.
I could not be happier with my custom rug! The quality is excellent, the color is exactly as pictured online (which is usually quite tricky), and the size is perfect. This company is named properly- the "perfect rug" is what they delivered!
I customized a rug on the website and in order to get to a price it takes you along the purchase path. I created a rug but thought it was a expensive and wanted to think about it.
Next day I went back to the site and saw that I could order a sample. So I created my sample and ordered it.
Unbeknownst to me, the site ordered the rug I had designed the day before. I didn't get any emails confirming this purchase and didn't realize that I was charged for the purchase and shipping until the rug showed up at my house.
The owner has been unresponsive and I am out $800!
Shopper beware! And I recommend setting up text notifications on purchases from your credit card to protect yourself from sketchy businesses like this one.

We reviewed our system log and have verified that you placed two separate orders: First order on Oct 20 for a custom area rug; Second order on Oct 21 for a free rug sample. Our system log verified that you completed the purchase process for each order. This process includes: (1) entering your billing and shipping information; (2) agreeing to our terms and conditions; (3) entering your credit card information if payment is due and (4) reviewing order and click the Submit Order button. Finally we confirmed our system sent an order acknowledgement email to the email address entered into your account. We would have been able to cancel this order if you would contacted us prior to producing the rug and shipping.
