I received several phone calls and emails from The Company Store asking me to accept my prize from the Bridal Show in Phoenix, AZ. They gave me the opportunity to choose ANYTHING on their website that totaled $250. Because what I chose exceeded that amount when including taxes and shipping, they said I would have to pay the difference. I said I would prefer for them to choose what to send me as long as I didn't have to pay any extra money on my free prize. Sure enough, the correspondents sent me a specific list (I chose the color) including a comforter, sheets, and pillow cases in which I didn't pay a dime. We are enjoying these products every day and it makes our room very colorful. I definitely give this company a thumbs up for their customer service.
My orders were not on time. I got a customer appreciation discount which they did not honor so today I can elled my order and found a comforter divet cover elsewhere that was cheaper. The duvet cover I ordered never did get sent and was backordered forever. Called customer service which was a total waste of time. Shop elsewhere.
Would not buy anything from them again. They use elastic on the fitted sheets that has no strength. Might as well have the old tuck in style of way last century
Horrible smell, like old fish... washed in hot water twice. Had to throw away. Disgusting smell that just got worse. Never again. Plaid flannel pajamas for my grandson.
Three times tried to order pillowcases. No one called me any time to advise of status. Today after multiple calls I was told they were sold out. This used to be a quality catalog, but no more.
I recently ordered two Balsam and Cedar Luxe Boxed candles by Illume from The Company Store. I've ordered Illume previously from other vendors and they were beautiful and in perfect condition. The candles from The Company Story arrived with stained boxes and melted wax all over the mercury holder as well. Not gift worthy as I planned. I emailed The Company Store about the problem and they said I can return them and pay for the delivery and handling fee. When a product is defective, why should I have to pay for all of the shipping? It's not a miss order, it's a defective product The Company Store shipped.
Ordered a quilt that showed in stock to ship within 1-2 days. Received an email next day saying, "As you may have seen during the purchase of your recent order, the following item(s) is temporarily out of stock. It will be shipped promptly to you upon arrival in our warehouse." The item showed in-stock on the product detail screen AND when I placed the order (cart view). In fact, it still shows in stock as of this writing. When I called customer service (which took an extremely long time) I was told that the item was indeed in stock but that someone in the Warehouse had cancelled my order - for some unknown reason. I have yet to receive confirmation of that cancellation in writing. Overall, my experience with this company has been very frustrating. Their online site is simply not user friendly. I've called twice about two different orders in the past 6-months and I'm pretty sure I've spoken to the same person each time, which, in combination with the long wait time, makes me wonder about the viability of this company. Their website gives you the impression that they are a reputable and strong company with plenty of staff but my experience seems to indicate otherwise.
I ordered a down comforter on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I was given no indication that it was back ordered when the order was placed. I inquired mid December and was told it would not be in stock until January 10th. I was offered free expedited shipping for my inconvenience. I declined as it would not be received in time for Christmas anyway. I inquired again about my order on January 11th only to be told that it is on back order until February 9th. My guess is I will never receive the item and they will keep stringing along the back order date until I give up.
Starting this by saying worst company I've ever done business with. So we ordered a king comforter set and sheets with monogram from the company store paid them and waited to get our items. Three weeks go by and nothing so I emailed them asking where the stuff was. They said,"Oh the sheets were discontinued did u still want us to send the comforter?" They never contacted us to tell us this, we had to contact them. Mistake on my part, I said yes we still want the comforter but refund us the money of the sheets if your not sending them, obviously. Once again we wait, our comforter finally shows and and we think all is well it says king on the packaging. We get it out to put on the bed, nope, it's a queen. So once again I email, they tell me I'll have to call the number to get it fixed. I call they say, "We will send u a new one, how would u like to pay for it" um I already paid for it I'm not paying again. The say, "Oh we will credit it back to u once we receive it but have to do a new transaction for this one. Ur total is $234." Really so it went from 178 to 234. "Yes that was a sale and ur buying out of sale" This is when I finally said yea just give me my money back. He said ok great have a nice day. Worst company I've ever done business with please do not use them.
I have now tried 3 times to order a blanket. Each time I was told its in the warehouse, and will ship overnight... only to call a few days later asking where it is to hear, order was canceled since they don't have it... this is horrible. Esp sine i spoke with a person who claimed they were checking and yes, my item requested is there and will be shipped overnight

Ordered a unicorn bedding set - sham, pillowcase, sheets - for my daughter's new big girl bed on Mar 23 & never received a confirmation email. I got an email 2 days later saying I left stuff in my cart & I'd assumed it didn't go through, which was weird because the payment method showed up in my account. I completed the purchase a second time &, again, no confirmation email but it did show up pending in my account. Called my bank to understand what to do & they said it'll stay pending until day 30 where it falls off the account unless they process the order. I called customer service & the lady I spoke with was difficult to understand & kept offering me free shipping for my order but wouldn't say "yes I cancelled your second order & sent the email" though I'd asked her to confirm in those specific words. I asked to be elevated to a supervisor which I was. Some lady in FL took over the conversation & I began recording the conversation in case I need it for the future. She basically said the warehouse has been doing inventory for over a week, they're behind & they will be wrapping up in 1-2 days, that I should see my shipping confirmation in about 2 business days. It's been 3 weeks since this conversation with the supervisor & I have not received anything - no shipping confirmation, no product. I'm just not understanding how this place is still in business.
This company did not inform me that they were unable to ship items out of stock until i called and then was told the items may or may not be available!
I live in Alaska. It is a state. We get mail. The free shipping they tout is an utter lie

For a few years I have annually ordered bath sheets to refresh my supply. Those are the extra large bath towels. They are bigger than beach towels! Each year they would have a sale and you could get a bath sheet for under $30... bargain! These were nice fluffy towels that were thick and stood up to weekly washing. Well not anymore. This year the towels seemed thinner and less absorbent. After the first washing the binding on one started to come off as a thin hole formed where it was sewn. I can't even repair as the fabric has come undone.
So, I email the customer service rep and they say they can snail mail me a UPS label and I can send back the faulty towel!
I am shocked they do not know how to email a UPS label and that they didn't just send me a new towel. I am used to the good online stores that just send me a new item. They tell me to throw out the defective item. Or they could have just credited my card. But no, they want me to go to the post office and mail them their thin, torn towel from Pakistan! I told them no thanks and I'd get my bath sheets elsewhere. I am sad their quality is not so good anymore. They sell high dollar sheets by the piece too so I would save my money.
I ordered a robe ONCE, five years ago. Though I have called, emailed and written letters and been assured they would remove me from their stinking mailing list, I continue to receive their garbage catalogs.
I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. How many trees and resources do these jokers waste each day, month and year. They are a JOKE.
This company has really gone down the tubes. Twice now I've placed orders only to be told that they ran out. Anticipated this and the chat staff lied. Done with this company!
I will never do business with this store again. I had an order list in the mail, and, as it was a gift, asked them to send me a new order. They were going to issue me a refund on the lost order( which has since been found), and charged me for the new one. It's now been a week since they supposedly processed the refund, and I have not yet received it on my credit card. In spite of talking to them numerous times over the past week, I only today found out that the refund wasn't processed correctly( something they could have checked on and told me on any of my previous calls), and supposedly they issued a new one today. I'm told to wait another 3-5 days, and I have no trust in anything they tell me. I have been told so many conflicting things over the last week, and been treated rudely several times. The amount of wrong information I have been given is staggering. I will continue to follow up about the refund, but I am so angry and frustrated that they still have my money, which I need to complete my Christmas shopping. This business needs to be blacklisted.
I have been calling The Company Store at least once per month for OVER 6 months trying to get off their catalog mailing list. Each time they tell me they have removed me from the list, but I keep receiving catalogs. While I once enjoyed some of their products, I will boycott this company for the rest of my life given its flagrant wastefulness. DOWN WITH THIS LAME COMPANY!
I ordered this plush robe for myself. It arrived quickly and is a really high quality item. I have ordered from this site before and everything I have ordered has been high quality and as advertised.
Ordered a duvet cover; received one as a gift. Return shipping by USPS was $20. When I called TCS to see about a cheaper return label, I was told they do not issue them. Will not shop there again.
Answer: It has been easy to get hold of customer service and eventually worked out multiple problems. Let me add, their were too many problems to continue doing business with the company.
Answer: Legitimate Business selling stylish bedding and home products. As a satisfied customer for over 25 years, I will shop elsewhere as the quality is now poor and cheaply made.
