The quilt I ordered starting falling apart after 30 days. I called and they sent me a new one which I had to pay for. After I received the new one I returned the old one. They notified me that they received my return, but were only refunding me a portion of the original purchase price. I called them and after they tried to blame me for the problem they discovered that it was an issue on their end. They said that they were refunding me the remainder that was owed. After waiting two weeks for the additional refund to appear on my credit card I called them again to find out where it was. They discovered that they never issued the additional refund and said they would do it now. I had to spend way too much of my time to get the refund and I hope it happens this time.
They took my money (credit card) they sent me an email authorization for 39.00 for slippers for my mom. After 2 days of getting no confirmation of shipping I called and was told they were sold out of that item. I cancelled and scolded them for making me think my mom's slippers were coming, until I called. They are too old of a company to do business in such a slipshod manner. Aslo on the initial transaction I was not charged tax, but after cancelling the order they sent another invoice stating it had shipped (a lie) and added 2 more dollars in tax. Horrible company.
I ordered a Boudoir pillow and pillowcase. Pillowcase was defective and I tried to send it back with absolutely no communication from customer service. All they did was send me return slip with no communication at all I tried several times to find out if they're going to send me the replacement. No reply
Washcloths are not much bigger than a postage stamp! But, when I wrote to them about a bath towel fraying on the edge, they informed me that there was a 90 day guarantee on the product. I was in the middle of a construction project that included a new bathroom and wasn't able to put my hands on a receipt. Unusual for me! No kids were involved in the fraying of the towel. That pretty much makes them disposable!
Not inexpensive either!

Wasn't happy when I realized I had returned an item on Feb 11/19 verified by USPS tracking. Called on March 3/19 and learned the refund had still not been processed. The impression I'm left w/is that I never would have rec'd the money back had I not been forthright and called. They are off my list as a retailer to shop at.
Very poor quality and expensive bedding and bath items. I bought a comforter and towels. The comforter has a strange smell that I cannot get out. The sheets also were also the same. The pattern on the sheet was upside down on the top sheet. The towels were poor quality and all of it was very poor quality. But expensive.

I will NEVER buy anything from the company store again. I bought a terry cloth robe from them. They claimed it was as nice as the ones in hotels, plush, thick, soft, etc. I got the thing and first off, I am not over weight and the thing barely closed. Next, the robe was pretty expensive, 135 dollars. About a week after getting it, I saw ones just like it at a big discount in the catalog. They told me, the robes were slightly different, even though, they looked the same, so they wouldn't give me a discount. I tried to send it back, but the cost of shipping was ridiculous.
Next, only after a couple of months, the belt to the robe opened on the seam. Next, less than 7 months later, it is falling apart more and looks very tattered. The thing is thin, and the fabric rough and uncomfortable. The thing is a piece of garbage and the quality is no better than Dollar Stores quality. Not worth it. A piece of garbage.
I have purchased their pillow inserts and zippered pillow covers, and they were fine and held up well.
However, I have ordered pairs of towels and pairs of sheets from this company. After several washings, I noticed one of the pillow cases was coming apart, and on closer examination, I saw that it was because the stitching on one of the seams had veered off. Then, the hem on one of the towels fell out--again, because someone at the sewing machine had veered off course. In both instances, I didn't notice the sloppy sewing until weeks after they were received, so I didn't even bother try to contact customer service.
Bottom line: If you do purchase their merchandise, examine everything immediately and minutely upon receipt.
I called to exchange an item I'd purchase that was too large. Turns out you can't return OR exchange items that are on clearance (end in $. 97). It was the first (and last) time I purchased from the company store. If they can tell you the price on the website, don't you think they could put no returns or exchanges next to that? Damn right they could. But they don't. CRUMMY CRUMMY CRUMMY customer service. If Lands End can do it, so can you (HOME DEPOT!)
They have shut down shipment of flannel bedding after I purchased 3 sets of various colored Queen flannel sets and extra pillowcases. Seams rip open, seams are not sewn straight, dye doesn't hold colors, piling and "crumbs' / fibers are all over your home from using them. They fill up your dryer lint comparent with every wash / dry. Now in order to get a refund (Who knows if they will?) I'm required to go out and find a large box for return shipment. That's the only way you can get a refund for these inferior items in which they admitted on the phone to me was known junk in so many word. Ugh! I'm a senior who is trying to stay home and safe with my health. They have lost a customer after shopping wiith them for over 25 years. This is not the company they once were. So today I must venture out to find an extra large box to purchase. Thanks The Company Store for no Custmer Service or respect for my health.
I ordered hand towels and received face cloths. The product quality was also low and I am returning them as they didn't even get my order correct and I no longer even want their hand towels. The shipping also took forever and I am still waiting for half of the items in my order and will be canceling them. Their receipt didn't even list the cost of any of the items either. Unprofessional and low quality - steer clear.
I just washed my brand new California king mattress pad from The Company Store 400 Thread Count Cotton Top Mattress Pad Item No. MA80-CK-White (for which I paid $89 plus $14.95 for shipping) in cold water, delicate, no agitator top load washer, and tumbled dry on air fluff (no heat) before putting it on my bed for the first time. The result a big hole in the top of the mattress pad. The Company Store refused to credit my account on the basis of a photo. They wanted me to ship the mattress pad back to them at my cost, and they said they would reimburse me. I told them that I had already thrown the pad out as it was useless and ridiculous to return such a huge item. Then they offered to have it picked up by FedEx at their expense (but the pad is already in the garbage). They will not credit my account now. I have bought a huge amount of The Company Store products for years and have never had an experience like this. The Company Store should not be selling horrible products like this.
I bought two sets of percale sheets in Jan 2021. Several small tears appeared in the bottom of the flat sheet in one set. I examined the bed closely and nothing explains these tears other than a flaw in the material. I called and was surprised to get the run around being past 90 days blah blah. When I asked if she wanted to lose me as a repeat customer, I was transferred to a supervisor who doubled down on the runaround. I again asked if she wished to lose me as a future customer. Her response was to bump my concerns to headquarters where someone will call me in 72 hours. Defective products should never amount to a hassle like this for any customer.
Also, I have been bombarded with printed catalogs every since the purchase and twice asked for it to stop. This customer service should be relabeled "company service". I will mend the tears but that ends doing business with such clueless people.
I ordered monogrammed towels and wash cloths, spending over $100.00 for them to have the initials "AM" on it. I figured I'd get started with my Christmas shopping early. When the items arrived, instead of having the initials "AM" it came with the initials "AB". I KNOW for sure I didn't select "AB" as my monogram. I had to select "AM" on each separate item. I wouldn't have made that mistake of putting "AB" on EVERY SINGLE ITEM. I called their customer service and they stated that because it was my error, I couldn't get it fixed... But then she proceeds to tell me I could place another order, they have 20% off today. They are out of their rabbit $#*! mind. I'm guessing that's their hustle. I wish I had read the reviews first before ordering. Now I'm out of $100, and have monogrammed towels with wrong initials that I can't do anything with. I will not be ordering from them again. I know they scammed me.
I ordered about $800 worth of products on 16th of December. I was overseas they claimed they could not reach me by phone, I asked why they didn't send me an email. They claimed they did, however, it was through a different server completely, which didn't actually include the company name, it looked like spam and it went right to the spam folder. So here I am waiting to receive my items, and if I hadn't called I would not have been the wiser. I spoke to some guy called Bob, who was so rude and unpleasant, I honestly do not think this company wants to be in business. They cancelled my order and now I have to go shopping elsewhere to get the sheets. I think reading Bill K and Everett B's reviews, I dodged a bullet as I haven't been charged, thank goodness! STAY AWAY!
Ordered two terry robes as gifts 2 weeks before x-mas. Five phone calls and four emails later, they arrived today, a month later with incorrect monogram. A scarlet "A"? Seriously? Never again.
It took 2 months and 4 phone calls to get The company Store to properly process my order of items the were "In Stock". I orderd on line and the online tracking did not work "no orders in my accout" and when i called the service staff did not know what thery were doing and said my order was too complicated to figure out - it was for 4 items. Don't shop here!
I ordered outdoor cushions a month ago. After a couple of weeks, I emailed the Company Store to ask when they would arrive. A day later I got a tracking number that never showed the package moving. I have called and emailed four times since then, and the answer is always the same: this is a third party distributor. We have emailed to inquire what happened, but nothing more. I still have NO answers and no cushions. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
