I purchased a leather sofa and love seat and was delivered in December 2021. I had purchased the warranty and submitted a claim because the leather was peeling off. We had a technician looked at it and he said that the seat would be replaced. On numerous call I was told that the back seat of the leather seat was going to be replace. A few weeks later I submitted another warranty claim to say the couch was not confortable at all. They sent another technician to look at it. At that time we were told that the peeling was caused by a cat. We don't have a cat. The pealing leather is not due to normal wear and tear. It was only 6 months old when I submitted my first claim. I called the customer service and was told that the couch seat would not be replace nor the couch set be replaced not would we be reimbursed for the warranty which we paid for. So I paid for warranty that the Brick will not honor and they will not reimburse me for the cost of the warranty. What a joke. Will never buy anything from the Brick ever.
We were at a Leather shop yesterday to get the pillow repaired that the Brick will not do anything about it and we were told that the material is not real leather. Beware of what The Brick claim that it's leather. We were told that it is real leather at the time of the sale.
Ordered the refrigerator from the brick during the boxing day period, the expected delivery was the 3rd week or January to the end of January so bought the item from brick as their delivery date is a bit earlier than other vendors like Canada appliance, badboy etc.
By the end of January tried to contact the salesperson Chris at Whitby, ON location, the salesperson was not reachable and i requested the customer service team for Chris to call me but he never picks the phone call or returns my message.
Now the mid-Febrary, they sent me an email saying the items is delayed and again in early March. Our refrigerator was in bad condition so we ordered new refrigerator but now our refrigerator is broken and wasting a lot of food to its malfunction.
Got cheated by Brick and the worst salesperson who is only interested to make sales and puts customers in danger.
1. Brick return policy is a joke, they don't take items back, or refund once any item was delivered.
2. Brick's gold warranty is a scam, upon 5 year period if the customer did not show up in the time frame they mentioned the money is gone and if the customer goes to claim upon few days delay they lose their money.
3. Brick's promised delivery dates are a scam to win a customer order but once the money is paid they don't care about the delivery dates.
So kindly request everyone to look somewhere else and buy somewhere else, you will get peace of my mind by buying somewhere else and honest delivery dates but with brick's sales people cheat customers with false dates.
Dryer stopped working 1 month after purchase. Repairman service is non existent. No calls returned. 2 months later still drying my clothes on clothesline. Don't buy anything from the Brick!

When you look at the display models, at first look you don't notice the defects until you have the furniture in your house, then its too late. I was told by a representative over email that I saw the display model and knew what I was about to buy... Look at the pictures I've shared, you don't want to be buying something new that have all those defects.
I purchased a Livy double bed + nightstand + something they call "bureau" here in Quebec. First the salesman said they are missing some parts and I would be getting all my stuff within one month's time. After one and a half month, nothing from them, I called and told them that I am waiting for my stuff, the lady told me she does not know anything from what the salesman had told me, and took a message to ask the sales man to call me back.
You guessed it right, he never called me back...
Few weeks later, I called back again, another lady told me I would be receiving my furniture by mid of November 2020. I orderd the furniture begining of September 2020 by the way.
End of November, I receive an email apologizing for delay, that soon I'd be receiving my stuff. In the first week of December they delivered my stuff. When I saw the quality of the furniture I was really sad and angry...
They don't want to refund or replace saying its normal for the furniture to be like that.

I bought a desktop for $200at Burlington location it was the evening and I had to work the next day they sent the receipt by email and 5 days later when I was about to put it together it was missing parts and was hard to put together so I went back to the store to pay for installation but it was $200 fee for installation seriously? And they didn't care to give me a reasonable option so I denied bc that was the cost of the table and asked for my money back so I learned that I couldn't return it that I just had 2 days to return it which I didn't know this is ridiculously crazy I didn't have time to put it together right after I bought it in the evening so I lost my $200 I never will go back to the brick where they don't value customers so don't waste your money with this company I gave 1 star but I didn't wanted to give any
I know covid is rampant worldwide but you shouldn't give delivery dates to customers when you know you don't have the product in your warehouse and unsure of the certainty of when you will have it actually in stock and can deliver the product when you say you will! I've been waiting for my range for months now. It was purchased on Sept 4/20 and my delivery date has been changed several times and currently told Dec 23rd now! So nice job! Its Christmas and I won't be able to get my christmas dinner done for Christmas day and our traditional holiday dinner takes days to prepare and cook! No time for Christmas baking either! I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from the brick again!. If you receive bad customer service... Shame on them... if you but from them again?... Shame on me! Tried to give them a second chance all in fairness... never again. You should tell customers you can't give dates for delivery until they product is in stock... that way customers can make an EDUCATED decision... for those just upgrading as opposed to NEEDING a stove in your current global situation... prioritize you think!? Shame on you!
We brought some furnitures (sofa, dinning table, bed, dresser) from brick store of kennedy road, on september 3rd 2020 and was told they ganna make the delivery by end of september or within first week of october but now after waitting that long on 23rd of october they deliverd only the dinning table set and inform us that they r deliverying rest of the items in mid of november not olny that they are not conforming us any date of november cause it could be come on december. I dont know what to do... hate there service
I bought my furniture at the south common location in Edmonton, AB. After using my sofa sets for 5months the leather start fading with some discoloration, I tried to contact the location to speak to someone but the customer representative hang up the phone on me while explaining the reason for my call. I tried reaching out online to The bricks through there online messaging again and I was able to chart with someone but it was a scam. The reason was that the guy said someone will definitely give me a call back within 2-3 days but 3weeks after no call or nothing from The bricks. I have 5years warranty on all my furniture at The bricks but I guess it really not worth having it anyways because they are a scammer. I don't understand why a good company will treat their customers like this? I will never recommend The bricks to anyone because this company is a scam and not responsible to there customers after the delivery of your furniture. I bought a new furniture to have peace of mind on the wear and tear aspect but 5months later the sofa that was supposed to be real leather start fading out. I really feel have been cheated, disrespected and not valued as a customer.
I was to use the bricks for my new house because of builder's incentive. All I can say is do not use them no matter what your discount are. Also, don't use Canadian appliances either. Once the bricks take full amount they will be gone from any commitment. Wait time is to delievring and installation will never take place. You will have endless fight with them. Items will not deliver for many months. If you call or email for your agent may be you will get a response. They used covid excuse all the time. At the time of the payment they will never use covid. They will tell you if it's not in the stocks they will not even set up anything. Anyways I have eight houses newly build in my area. None of them receive appliances in their satisfaction. I have one neighbor who still has not receive their cooktops and using the BBQ in the garage as we speak. For me I am done with bricks. I am still fighting with them and the kitchen company to address the issue they both created and I am the one who suffering.
Tonight I went into the Brick and bought a washing machine from Nabeel K. Nebeel was friendly knew his product information, and was very efficient. It was a very nice shopping experience!

On January 8,2022 I bought a fridge and a dish washer from the brick after a long waiting time on January 14 they bring it I was not home they said to my wife that they need a man to help them carry it in so they take it back
Today they bring it again
One of them come out and said the dry way is not clean enough to bring it in my house
I have video of cleaning the snow in the last two days
Video of me my family and the neighbours helping east other to clean my dry way
I told them I can help them carry it in
They said no
Then I told them if they do not I will complain to the company
The driver and the helper attacked me in front of my family and neighbours they are wetness
I sent this video if no action is taken I will report it to the police
I did not yet because the sales person was very professional and helping guy
I am sure there's more professional people in the company to handle this

Purchased TV in May 2019, got 4years extended warranty for $199.99. Sales agent who assist me on the time I purchased tv and extended warranty told me that I can use the $199.99 in any The Brick after 4years if I haven't used the extended warranty. I went back to The Brick in May 2023 to purchased a tv using the $199.99 from my extended warranty and now they are telling me that I can only use the $199.99 on furnitures or mattresses, which was not mentioned to me when they offer me the extended warranty. And the Brick management are telling that I only have 3 months to use the $199.99 or else it will expired. They are insisting me to used it for furniture or mattress that I don't really need. And beside you have to purchase an item not lower $400 so the $199.99 can be applied to it. After I waited for 4years and the Brick used my money and they got an interest from it now they don't care about me anymore. Never ever get an extended warranty from the Brick it's a scam. They will only use your money for their own interest. I will never ever purchased item in any Brick store.

Ordered a Reclining Sofa and Chair in March 2021 and was told sofa would be here for May and recliner not until July. Second week of May comes, I contact them and they tell me no furniture until end of July.
I go to the store and freaked out on them... Sofa was delivered 3 days later.
Now it is August 9th and I call about my chair and am told not until November. Told that no stock of this reclining chair across the nation.
What the heck? They are still selling this recliner and telling the new buyers that it will be 6-8 weeks and taking full payment. They know darn well that they can't meet these dates but they will LIE to you just to get your money.
I feel like I have been robbed... The Brick took my money in March but just keeps saying sorry, it is delayed.
The Brick takes advantage of people like you and me to take our money, hold it in their pockets and the little guy (like me) is left with nothing but empty promises and so called delays.
The whole situation has left me sitting on the floor, out $2,000.00 and stressed like you wouldn't believe.
I am beyond furious with the Brick and their customer service! The final straw for me to write this post was because someone from their customer service just hung up the phone instead of helping me and haven't tried calling me back! I wasn't even rude or unpleasant. I have been trying to get my credit of $646.50 for over a month now and have been directed from one place to another… I've called the Brick I originally made the purchase from (Calgary), was then instructed to go to my local brick for the refund, was told at that brick they couldn't help me, then spoke to someone on the online chat, was directed called dejardins, dejardins said they couldn't help me and to contact the brick, I then went on the online chat (AGAIN), and they said they couldn't help me but to call the Brick where I bought the couch, I called them and then the girl had me on hold to figure it out and then hung up on me and hasn't tried to call me back. This is so ridiculous! How can no one help me? Why does the customer have to chase people/the company to get the refund you guys owe me! Yes I am livid. To add… the $3000 sectional that I bought is already pilling and its been a little over 2 weeks with minimal use. After this experience I never want to purchase from the brick again or recommend them to anyone. This is hours of my time that I'll never get back that I've spent trying to get this sorted.
Bought 7 appliances with drop off and pick up of old appliances. Delivery didn't want to do so. Cancelled Order. Never again!

Answer: They are a massive scam company. No customer service, no loyalty to their customers. Once you have paid, good luck receiving your merchandise on time, or getting replacements for the damaged goods. They lie through their teeth about timelines and promise things that never happen. They do not communicate amongst themselves, so one person will tell you one thing and the next has no idea and says it can't be done. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Stay away!
