Every time I buy something, They send it wrong. The shoes I bought are size 3, and they sent me a size 13 for a child. Just now I bought a set of pajamas for my son, and they only sent one piece. Clothes, but no pants. The socks I bought before were sent to me for newborns, but I didn't return them because I felt annoying, but now they're wrong. Their working ability is too bad. I really don't dare to go to the bay to buy things anymore. I don't dare to believe them anymore. I'm so disappointed.
Over a month ago, I wrote to Hudson's Bay explaining that it issued an invalid gift card. I sent Hudson's Bay a picture (jpeg file) of the invalid gift card. I explained that when I entered the gift card number and PIN, the Hudson's Bay system told me "invalid number of PIN." Had the customer service representatives paid attention to the jpeg file attached in all of my 10 emails to Hudson's Bay, they would have seen they issued me an invalid gift card. Not only do the customer service representatives completely disregard my issue, they are very unapologetic and tell me to contact the Gift Card department, after our 10+ email exchanges, each of their responses being a generic message completely unrelated to my gift card issue I described thoroughly. As a customer, I wasted over one month of my time dealing with the worst company ever, and I didn't get any compensation for all the trouble this company caused me. Don't ever purchase from Hudson's Bay!
Funny and sad at the same time. When big brands are dysfunctional because of small people working in customer support. The person who worked on 18 Feb, 4 pm, EST time in e-gift support put the e-gift card on hold, knowing that I was leaving for the Birthday Party:)
And it's not even the end of the story, the next day when the e-gift card still wasn't been delivered and I asked for a refund. The card was delivered a couple of mins after I asked. So I called and made sure that it's not going to be canceled or refunded if I am going to give it to a person. And I was told that this card will work for sure. And when the person used it it didn't work.
Anyhow never buying from Hudson's Bay again

I've been buying at the Bay for 43 years. Mostly online. During the pandemic, I bought a winter coat and paid $ 300 on the sale. He didn't have an statement saying it was a final sale. Once, I received the coat, I realized it was too big. I went to the store to return it and the lady told me, she can't take the coat back because it's a final sale. It was written very small on the final sales invoice. I went back to my Bay account and they blocked this purchase from my sight. I hadn't learned enough from my mistake that I bought back Christmas presents and the same thing that just happened to me. Same thing happens at the store. I will never and never buy at the Bay. They are not honest and they are tricky. Finish for the Bay. Make sur before it's the purchase you wanted. Bye, Bye the Bay
I ordered a jacket. I was sent the wrong size. It was huge. The marketplace seller responded but then ghosted me. Didn't tell me how to return the item. I had to escalate to the Bay customer service. Then they forced me to return the item at my cost. I will never buy again from The Bay/Zellers marketplace.
First off you don't realize until it's too late that The Bay has started using a marketplace structure on their website. The reason I went on their site was because I trusted the store. Ordered cutlery for my wife and when UPS delivered I was charged more than 40$ in duties. I was flabbergasted that I would pay duties on a purchase done through The Bay. Furthermore the item didn't suit our needs and I wanted to return it to The Bay and I was informed that it wasn't sold by them so I would have to pay shipping to return the item. At that point I'll just buy from Amazon. At least I know what I'm dealing with there and I get free returns.
I ordered online, return by post is required. There is no instruction after you start the process, I click' begin return process', then nothing, no NEXT, no link to copies for processing. No paper trail for you to ensure the return. Chat they solicit sucks (NO ONE), they send an email and ask you to 'reply to email if you have further questions, but then when you do it says not deliverable! UNbelievable this company of our heritage is poor with customer service. I do NOT RECOMMEND ordering clothing (anything) online from the BAY, it is hostile
I ordered a pair of black jeans on November 26th and STILL have not received my order. By the time they arrive... sorry IF they arrive, it'll probably be summer. Very disappointed in The Bay's online order process. A lesson to me to NEVER order anything online from The Bay again!
Bought a leather watch band there. It required multiple repairs in the first month, totalling more than it cost me.
Overpriced, and they do not stand by their work.
I bought an 'intelligent mopping machine' from their market place, the item cost $50 in total (RED FLAG). The item does not work at all, it stops whenever it hits an object, it does not even try to go around it. I started a return and received no answer for 1 week, I contacted the bay and they said they will escalate to the seller and that's it. NO HELP FOR REFUND. What's worse? I wrote a review 2 times about my purchase and non of them appeared. Another intended buyer will get scammed again by this seller because the bay blocks the bad reviews for them :)
Blocking my bad review from showing up was so dishonet, I will never ever buy from the bay again, this is so concerning.
Ordered some items on sale June 13th, 2021. They shipped only the cheap item in the order and cancelled the orthers without sending me and email or anything. I needed those items to travel out and it took me 4 calls and an email to customer service that never responded to get to speak to someone that simply said order was cancelled. And that was it. I have just 2 days to travel and I will have to starting looking buy those items elsewhere.

Hudson Bay is changing their credit card to Neo credit. As a VIP customer of Hudson Bay I have been turned down for the new card. I am in my 60s retired own property have credit score in 800s No specific reason given. Does anyone have Presidents email address.
I placed an order since August 26th only to be told when i called on September 12th that my order was damaged in transit and i will be getting a refund! No email no phone calls nothing! Now i call back again today September 23rd! The agent was so inadequate that i had to wait 28 minutes for her to type an email for a refund that apparently was only processed on September 21st 9 days after my first call! It was an argument for several minutes for to agree to send me a refund confirmation email! If there was a 0 star thats what i would provide them!
I used many times. But most of the times happened. Oreder, comfirmed, and cancelled. Because it was out of stock.
One time, after confirmation, got delivery tracking number, and never Arrived. Their excused was mis scanned. N then cancelled because out of stock.

They added some marketplace sellers and needed to mark that you are buying things from the marketplace seller! The department stores only have some sizes, and sometimes you have to order a few sizes and keep just one. Return online orders to the store was very friendly and easy until marketplace sellers came to the Bay: all of them have different return [policies and do not cover return shipping, and you can't return merchandise to the store. I ordered jackets for my son, and when I saw that the Bay does not sell them, I cancelled the order 2.5h after purchase! After 24h, I received an email that the merchandise was shipped! They just ignored my cancellation! In this way, The Bay will lose its loyal customers and end up like Sears or Zellers. Think of that!
I ordered a few things online from the bay, one of the items arrived damaged- it was a clearance item so it was listed as final sale, they offered me 10% off. $10 off a sweater I can't wear - i wouldnt pay $10 for the item in the condition it was in, the entire thing was literally unraveling.
After paying £10 to return my items to yoins they then told me I shouldn't have return to that address. I returned to the address on the package that it came from but told to send to another address after I'd returned it. Which I felt was deliberate as they wouldn't reply until after the return period
Just visited the bay in Southcenter Calgary. Very put off. My wife and daughter asked for directions to chg room and showed rooms on the 2nd floor in mens department.
I went looking for them and was sent to main floor womens chg rooms.
They need to get there act strait. Don't send Women/Girls to chg in Mens Change Rooms. So stupped... Will not return for a long time...
We ordered dolce sofas which were factory defected. We received horrible customer service trying to return them and get our money back. Would not recommend shopping here.
