They promise the moon and deliver the gutter! They are no better than match.com and worse because you have to pay a tremendous amount of money to get worse service. They also don't charge some men who may be "in demand". They scout other sites to select these people.

We have both male and female recruits who join our database at the request of a specific matchmaker. We also occasionally run specials for reduced cost membership irregardless of gender, and many former clients stay on in our database as complimentary members. Abysmal for older women

I should've known something was funny when the sales person asked me if I would be willing to "cast the net wider" to expand my religious preference as well as the location. They should not have taken my seven thousand dollars. As an older woman in New York, the pool was abysmal. I found the matchmaker, Lori Davis, was completely off. I was given free coaching as part of my package with Francine Terrell and really loved that experience - she was lovely and a great cheerleader for positivity. But I had not contacted Tawkify to get coaching, as enjoyable as it was. Their database seems limited - I did better on the apps doing my own screening.I added photos below to illustrate what I look like and who I was matched with. One of the men was obese - wearing a tent and barely able to sit in the booth where we were set to meet…sweet man, but… he recused himself and I was painful for us both.

I'm a self employed entrepreneur, successful, handsome, and fit, I paid $5500 for 6 dates from Tawkify and quit after thev3rd I'll matched date/- a gay massage therapist was my match in which I drive 2.5?hours each way to meet. Shut this joke called Tawkify down

I'm glad we were able to connect by phone about this. Your time is valuable, and I appreciate that you followed up to let me know your story. I took away that the first match wasn't your caliber, the next was fine but no spark, and the final match was a perfect storm of wrong person/poor planning. I wish that we might have gotten the chance to speak while you were still part of our community, but I can respect that you need to do what makes sense for your busy lifestyle. Save your money

After nine months as a member, the only thing I have heard from Tawkify are sales pitches to spend more money with them. I would have been better off spending my $99 on a nice dinner, a mani-pedi, or leaving it in my bank account. Lesson learned.

Poorly matched!

Seems like they are more interested in matching you with anyone vs. your actual criteria. I recently joined, I was matched with someone who's been just sitting dormant in the database since 2015, not ready to date but I felt was pulled out and "dusted off" and who was not close to my type at all- nice guy but personality was awkward, lifestyle did not align, and physically would not date him at all in a lineup- not even close, so disappointed - will not use him again. I honestly don't think he was video screened by my "matchmaker" or he would've been ruled out - seems like no effort went into matching us. Seemed rushed to get me matched with someone. Ughhh

On September 15,2023 I purchased a "Client 3 Match Experience" for $4,100 to be matched with three dates in a year. The salesperson pushed for me to purchase the more expensive membership. However, Tawkify is unable to successfully match me with the thousands of dollars membership for which there is a guarantee and does not want to provide a refund; rather they want me to change my standards so they can provide a match based on who they currently have in their pool of matches.
The Salesperson intentionally made multiple false statements which I relied upon to make my decision to join Tawkify and to determine my selection criteria. Further, team members were aware of my current criteria and stated that if I cannot be matched that a refund would be provided. Based on my current criteria, I cannot be matched, so a refund should be provided. Yet, Tawkify wants to pair me with a new MatchMaker fully knowing this will never address the intentional false statements made by their, only a full refund would suffice.

False Advertising

(Female/Straight) I thought when I signed up for a matchmaker at $1,000 per date that I would be meeting a client that made the same sort of financial commitment. I thought this was an exclusive dating website. I also believe if you're paying that kind of price you're much more committed to the process.

But NO... Tawkify will match you with people that only pay $99 per year to be in their database. It's not exclusive. Your dates will not be making the same level of financial commitment upfront. I wish they had been upfront and truthful about that before I gave them my credit card.

ALL candidates are thoroughly vetted and screened regardless of if they are a client or not, and our matchmakers are sure to look into their romantic intentions and level of commitment. We wouldn't want a client to miss out on someone who could be a great fit just because they didn't purchase the exact same client package!

This service costs an arm and a leg and they don't guarantee anything! They show you lots of ladies who are very appealing on the eye but when it comes to your matches selection they offer you ridiculously inappropriate matches. Basically there is no choice. The selection of women is very limited, to say the least.

Honey pot

I had a pack of dates and out of the six girls I met three of them voluntarily gave me their phone numbers agreed to go out with me again and then completely ghosted. I find that extremely suspicious and I honestly believe that many of these young attractive girls are nothing more than plants that are hired by this company to go out with guys to get them to buy more dates and none of these girls at any intention of ever going out with you again I honestly would not be surprised if most of them have boyfriends and this is just a side hustle.

We've talked with you in the past about your concerns, and are of course disheartened that you felt this way. Ghosting is not something we condone or encourage, but ultimately we cannot control people's actions or make any guarantees about whether or not there is chemistry or reciprocated feelings. They called me on the phone and asked me for $13,500 to begin the matching process. I can't imagine anybody giving any amount of money like that to somebody that they have not met in person for a face-to-face interview and that has a brick and mortar office building with a big following and a A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau

In reality they have very few genuine profiles. All these photos of good-looking women are bait-and-switch. They use all kinds of tricks at the selling ceremony. Once you've been lured into this con, they show their real face. If you have basic skills in communication with women, search in real world. And no, you don't have to pay $5000 for this! Tawkify service is ridiculously overpriced. Even if they had had more real profiles, it would have still be an insane price to pay for what? For a date with a stranger? With no regard to your search criteria? No way!

I spent over 7K with tawkify and never used a single service with them. I went on zero dates and met with zero people. I also live in a very highly populated area that they informed me would be easy to match. They refused to issue any refund even though I never went on a single date or ever had any perspective dates/matches given to me. Do not trust this company they are completely fraudulent!

Don't Do it!

Do not qualify their people at all! Terrible refund policy, broken refund page and once you click and sign up they will tell you that you agreed to no refund. They shouldn't force people to pay and not back out when life changes. And they do not do any qualifications, just some typical questions and comes after your money!

It's available on our website, and we require users to confirm that they have reviewed and agree to it before creating an account. We also note it at the bottom of the sales receipt, which is emailed as soon as service is purchased. We would never force anyone to sign up, and so would love to hear more about your experience.

This is a ridiculously expensive amount of money to spend for such a pathetic excuse of a company. They don't do any work. They set you up with anyone local with maybe one shared interest. They bully you into going on dates with people that don't meet some of your deal breaking qualities and still charge you for that date. The matchmakers don't follow up or ask what they can do better or even inquire about the $#*!ty dates they set you up on. This is the biggest scam on the internet.

False Information

Yvette told me that the matchmakers get a bonus if the match is successful, meaning that I go on a second date with the person.
So, she said that if I don't want to go on a second date, this person would not count as one of my matches.
I took very thorough notes during our conversation. She very specifically told me the match would not count if I didn't go on a second date.

When I met with my matchmaker, she told me this was not the case at all.

I have already had a very bad experience with Its just lunch, so it is very upsetting and concerning that a recruiter would tell a lie like this. It makes me doubt the professionalism of your company.

Going well so far

I am at the beginning of the process. It's going well so far. I have had great conversations with my coach and my 2nd matchmaker. I was not happy with the first matchmaker, we just didn't click. I let the concierge know and they connected me with a new matchmaker that was a better fit. We'll see how it goes from here.

Learning so much from this process!

I really enjoyed my time with Sharon and felt that we covered a lot of ground, ideas, and things to do to better prepare myself for this new chapter of my dating life. Sharon is a great listener and really gets to the heart of what her client's past experience as well as what they are hoping to get out of the Tawkify experience going forward. I wasn't sure what to expect from the coaching aspect but I did find value in it and would recommend it to new clients.

So I was very clear about my political affiliation and said it was a 8/10 importance for anyone I date to not be a Trump supporter. They set me up with a Trump supporter. There was a very awkward experience when watching the news that actually made me feel somewhat unsafe. I don't think these folks listen to women atleast they didn't listen to me. Not only did they set me up with a Trump supporter, the guy didn't pay to participate. I wanted to be in an equal deal. These matchmakers just want your money, they didn't listen to me or they didn't take my political affiliations seriously even though I was the one paying not the guy.

Total waste of money

I called Tawkify inquiring about about their matchmaking service. I was persuaded to purchase a package and went for the least amount of matches which was 3. I was never told there was an option to pay less and be in a dating pool. I also was never told matches will most likely come from the dating pool...NOT someone who is paying high dollar for a matchmaker. My first match misrepresented himself and I was given an additional date. After my 3rd match I was told I had been matched with 4 and my account was closed. I never heard from my matchmaker and customer service said they would look into it and came back and said I had all 4 of my matches. I know how many dates I had been on and none of them were someone i would expect a professional matchmaker to match with me. Tawkify is the biggest waste of money. Don't do it! I have had more success with online dating apps.

This is my second round with Tawkify. The first time around I had a really strong communicator matchmaker. I felt like she really wanted to help me and was great with check-ins. Nothing came out of all the dates I went on though. A few years later I figured I'd give it another shot and realizing that this service isn't for me. Some things to be aware of: 1) Your matchmaker WILL NOT BE LOCATED IN YOUR CITY OR STATE- this means they'll pick date locations that feel far and inconvenient 2) Because they don't live anyway near you, they don't really have a sense of what dating is like in YOUR area. 3) After that first video chat, you'll never actually see your matchmaker again. You can request a phone call after a date, but otherwise expect just to be texting to a generic number to communicate. 4) There's no real sense of personalization. Expect messages like- we found a date for you- here's their basic info- they like dogs, fresh air and eating food- you guys will be perfect. No explanation of why they picked this person for you. I think we can probably do better in terms of matchmaking services, but this ones fine.
