I've been a paying customer for 10 months. I paid $6,800 for six matches. I've gone on 3 dates. Three dates in almost a year. Of the three dates 2 did not even come close to meeting my expectations and one was just okay. There is no incentive for matchmakers to match you in an expedited manner. The entire model is geared towards Tawkify taking your money and trapping you in a contract, then barely doing their part. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it, either. They have you by the purse strings. You are also more often than not matched with people who are not paying for the service. So they also have nothing to lose. You as a paying customer hold all the risk and the service is awful. I would steer very clear.

To clarify, date timelines vary depending on each client's preferences and the matchmaker's strategy -- we prioritize match quality over speed to provide the best matches possible. Regarding matching with non-paying candidates, we have found no correlation between membership tier and success. In fact, the overwhelming majority of our success stories are client/member or client/recruit pairings. Regardless, ALL candidates go through the video screening process for compatibility.

I signed up for this site hoping that I would find someone to chat or meet. But I was never given a single person after listing what kind of person I was interested in. The site doesn't allow to search members and the cost was non-refundable. They have people who do the searching for you and there is no guarantee that they will find someone. I feel you are throwing money away by not giving you a chance to look through a list of current members. Try other sites and pass on this one.

Inconsistent communication

I think this service could greatly benefit from an app. Based on the level of investment, I should never feel in the dark as to whether anything is happening or not. I was aggressively pressed to submit feedback from an initial date, but have received no such communication in return. I'm not sure what that means and I would expect at this level that ambiguity would not prove to be an issue. I guess I would prefer to know the status of things and occasional emailed communication do t provide that or any level of confidence on the contracted service.

Not ONE Referral

When I applied, I was assured there were eligible men in their database. They tried to upsell me to a personal matching service. I told them I wanted to see the quality of men before considering an upgrade. In 10 months I didn't hear a word from them. I reached out via email and never got a response. Don't waste your time or money.

Awful and Scam

Absolute scam.They lie from the get go. First, they say it is refundable it is not. As long as they give you matches they don't have to return your money. Second, they say both males and females pay, they do not. Females are allowed into their portfolio, and they will take anyone( and I mean anyone). Third, they don't match your preferences at all, they just give you anyone regardless of your preferences. Four, their matchmakers are not good, I cycled through 3 because each one was terrible. The girls on there are not cute, intelligent, and have more baggage than tinder chicks. It is not reputable and do no use this service. Once they get your money they are done with you. I filed multiple complaints and at the end they just said too bad do you want to extend.

Poor experience
January 15, 2024

I paid around 8 K for 10 matches. I believe I only had 2 matches that turned into more than the first date. But none turned into anything more than going to a movie or dinner. Didn't turn out to be a match. I feel like a wasted a lot of money and time for nothing. I don't know how their matching system works but 2 out of 10. I guess that is where they get the 80% success rate.

Two strikes so far.

I've been scheduled for two dates recently, and I wanted to share my experiences with you. Unfortunately, the first date was a no-show, and although the person did provide a warning beforehand, that information wasn't communicated to me. The second date was booked at a location that turned out to be closed for a while. Both instances required me to drive for over an hour one way, which, given my busy schedule and the need to arrange for a babysitter, has been quite challenging.

I understand that I don't live in a major city, but I also don't reside in a super small town. Thus, the significant travel time without actually meeting anyone has been less than ideal. However, I must mention that the coaching aspect of this experience has been a saving grace.

I appreciate your understanding and hope that we can improve the scheduling process moving forward.

I really regret spending money on Tawkify. I had very simple preferences, for example to me matched w someone with similar political beliefs, and twice was matched with people with very different political beliefs. When I complained, both times I was told "The guy lied to your matchmaker, sorry, we do our best." Was also matched w someone with very different physical characteristics than I had requested and again was told "He lied to us, he used old pictures, sorry." So: Tawkify doesnt do a good job of screening matches. I can use hinge for free if I want to match with guys who lie to me. My expectations were totally unmet and I deeply regret the huge financial investment (approx $1,300 a match for 6 matches).

Could give a try

Not everyone cup of tea. But if you like to have a personal assistant to help you find love maybe this is a good way to filter the unwanted match, this is the one for you. All you have to do is be patient and lower your ecxpectations

Deceitful Matchmakers

I went on a date that was set up through Tawkify (I was not the member) and it became completely clear that the matchmaker was being deceitful when she was describing the date. Though, I suppose that was her job to make me get excited to go on the date. She described a lot of things about my date that were exaggerations to outright lies - from how they looked to their hobbies. I would not trust Tawkify with a dime of my money.

I signed up Tawkify when I felt extremely disappointed at the online dating scene, and I didn't expect I'd enjoy the process the way I do today. The blind dating process forced me to let go of control from the candidates to dating venues. Regardless the level of attraction, people who show up on the dates are genuine people, and are open to share about themselves. The feedback form after each session makes you stay objective and process how the date makes you feel. My matchmaker introduced me to people who meet my requirements but also show elements that I wouldn't consider dating in the past. I got to meet really interesting people and it gave me an opportunity to challenge my own beliefs.

I was matched with 3 men. My experience, a video call with all 3. This company needs to listen to clients, do recruiting nearer their clients and provide matches that are more successful, as a result. This was no better than any online site I've used, except it was quite expensive.

Rachael Ogilvie is my matchmaker and I couldn't be happier I was matched with her. She is kind, empathetic, listens and adjusts well, and feels like a friend who is there with you every step of the way. Our first meeting, I just felt like she got me - and even if she didn't - she asked so many great questions and made sure she was understanding what I was looking for. Throughout the process, she has been communicative, enthusiastic, and supportive when things haven't worked out. She has even given a gentle push to meet people I wasn't quite sure about that ended up turning out great. Dating can be tough and I really feel like she has my best interest at heart and truly wants me to find love. Anyone who gets her as their matchmaker is in great hands!

Glad I signed up!

I'm a member and have been on two dates. The first date was a nice time and we had a great dinner overlooking the ocean. We went out a few more times but ultimately he wasn't the guy for me. My second match, we had drinks and apps in my city. Both guys were very successful, kind, and I could tell they were really looking for a relationship. That's what sets this service apart from others for me. It's so refreshing to meet men who are not just dating around.

Definitely recommend trying it! I joined their database and was set up on a date with a client a few months later. The match was spot on and we both wanted to see each other again! We had similar interests and the same sarcastic sense of humor.

Focused Attention & Guidance

My introduction into the Tawkify process has been beyond simple. The Tawkify reps, matchmakers and dating coaches have been extremely friendly and helpful. There has been a direct 1 to 1 communication with the singular focus of matching me with the right person. The dating coach provided useful feedback and walked me through scenarios that I have stumbled on in the past. I'm looking forward to the next steps instead of being nervous about them.

Very satisfying. Reinforced things I already have in my toolbox. Was enlightened about areas that I can nurture and learn to build confidence and add to my toolbox for use dating. I was nervous prior to my session with Deborah. We talked about ways to calm myself, mentally relax and prepare for a date. She was very helpful
