The liquid lipsticks from tarte are the absolute best. The are easy to apply, long lasting, look great, feel great and are totally worth the price in my opinion. I recommend trying at least one of their lipsticks seeing as it's one of the bests

It was my first time purchasing on their website because I saw a lot of sale that I love and I usually buy tarte from sephora. So I ordered 2 batches that cost around $250. When the first batch arrives, I only got samples. I contact customer service and they send me a refund. The second batch arrives and again, I only got samples. So I contact customer service again and this rude mother$#*!a told me that he would report me or something and disconnected while I'm still typing. Good thing he refunded me. Don't order on tarte.com again! Aside from not sending the products that you ordered, the customer service is really horrible.

Waited over a month for my order, tracking wouldn't update past details received, waited the extra 15 days for corona delays and still nothing. Contacted them and all they could say was there's delays keep waiting, 2 weeks later still nothing so I contact them again and they tell me its lost and they won't offer replacements and instead I will get a refund in 2 weeks. Absolutely awful. No one contacted me to tell me it was lost I had to contact them twice instead. As far as I can see my package was lost before it was even sent.

Two times I've ordered from Tarte I never got a tracking number so I had to contact customer service about this just to get a tracking number. Also the shipping takes forever! Not happy with this company. Dont plan on continuing with this company.

The payment failed to order several times, although it did get taken off in my bank account. I tried calling customer service, and that is where Tarte has the MOST flaws. Every minute they say that they can hold your place in line and call you back, but every time customer service leaves a voicemail saying that I can only contact them by calling them. ALSO their standard voicemail message is that your wait time is "just over 10 minutes", but they have said the same message for AN HOUR now. Unbelievable.

I had the worst experience with Tarte during the last two weeks. I have been their client for many years. However, my recent experience with them was absolutely horrible. The first order was lost by FedEx. The replacement order was not delivered (twice) as I wasn't at home. I tried to track the first and the replacement order many times. FedEx would tell me the order is at a location X. I went there twice - the product wasn't there and they couldn't locate it. I was very tired of 'chasing this order' for 2 weeks as if there is nothing more important in my life than Tarte eye shadows. Tarte refused to replace the order and ship it to my office as it was lost twice before. Tarte did refund, however, I will never buy their products again. I have never experienced anything similar with other brands that ship via USPS or even FedEx. I have been a fan of their products for a long time, but nowadays the competition is very strong and no company can afford to treat their clients like this.

My order was canceled?

Seriously pissed off by this company. I placed my order 12/9/16. I got my order confirmation email and a lot of emails following about taking a survey about their products. Never got an email about it shipping before getting emails about reviewing it. I contacted them and apparently my address I use all the time was incorrect and they canceled my order without even notifying me. This is a horrible company to buy from online. I will never do it again. I will be calling on Monday and giving them a $#*! storm about it. This is very unprofessional. I have also had them give me two lies for a reason it got canceled. Never again.

I never write reviews but I feel like this needs to be said. During Tartes birthday sale I bought 3 items (it took 6 days incl. The weekend to arrive- so fast!)- I only received 2/3 and one of the palettes had a broken pan. I emailed customer services around 3pm. They got back to me around 11:45 pm (I live in the UK). They explained that they were sorry for the inconvenience caused and that they couldnt ship replacements to international orders. They processed an immediate refund to my paypal account. I know that for some people, this is not ideal (I. E. if bought as gifts, discount codes, etc) but for me, the Tarte customer service team were bloody amazing. Having read other reviews I was expecting to wait to hear from them after weeks of harassing. It took them less than 12 hours to resolve this issue and I am so so impressed. I know not everyone has had good experiences but I really felt the need to share mine. Thank you Tarte; keep on slayin

I ordered Tarte's Dream Big eyeshadow palette and I like it a lot. Although i feel it is not as pigmented as i had thought it would be the product is definitely buildable and easy to work with. I also have the Pro Glow contour and highlight palette and it is a product that i used in my every day makeup routine.

They are LIARs - falsely advertising that this makeup is all natural and you blatantly use products that can cause carinogens, and have toxins levels for 3-4. My younger sister told me about these products and I bought a bunch during your 70% off sale around X-mas and when the products arrived I checked each name and found that some of these products are toxic when used on your lips. I am telling everyone that they are liars and falsely advertise these products - We should teach everyone how to look up the ingredients so that they can't sell these products to unsuspecting individuals. If they want to claim natural - use only natural products that aren't toxins.

I placed an order with tarte even after 6 days of that i still didnt get any email which says that my order is shipped... i called their customer service more ghan 5 times and leave the message but never get a response from them... Even if its not shipped after 6 days so there is no guarantee that i can receive my order... Im a frequently online shopper and that is the worst experience with tarte.

I recently ordered from the website tartecosmetics.com. I wish I read the reviews before I ordered. There is 0 customer service. Do not order from this website! I tried contacting them to cancel, and realize too late that there is no way to contact them. The 1800 number DOES NOT WORK! I sent an e-mail, and but did not receive any reply. I just hope that I get my order in good condition, at the very least. I tried tracking the shipping number they gave, but FedEX says it is not in their system. Also, after I ordered, there was a note that says my order is ineligible for return (really! You should tell me that it is final sale before you process my order!). I thought tarte is a legit, good company with good customer service. I am very much wrong. If you want their products, just order it from Sephora or other reputable companies with excellent customer service. DON'T ORDER FROM TARTECOSMETICS.COM

Miscommunication

I love Tarte and I usually have no problem ordering through them. However, I made a purchase during a sale and got a nice discount on a few things. I realized after I checked out that I purchased two of one item so I quickly contacted them. They said that they would have to cancel the order completely. I replied saying I was nervous to do so since the promo code I had used wasn't working and they replied and said they cancelled the entire order and gave me a new promo code. Usually I would be fine with that, but I just saw the email now and was not aware that it was cancelled and the big sale they were having is now over so now I have to buy it at full price :( It's just annoying because I made sure to order everything before the sale was over and it just got cancelled when I didn't want it to be...

Truly Terrible!

I ordered 3 Shape Tape concealers only to receive two lipsticks and a hydrator, I have waiting ages for it to arrive.
Tried to contact chat and customer services and the chat do not reply and the customer service email replies with a generic email written by someone that appears to be a teen on poppers!

I received for christmas the tartelette toasted, but 2 pans were broken. I contacted them via email on december 26th and was expecting to not get an answer for a while since it must be really busy around christmas. They answered me the same day saying how they were sorry and sending a new palette without me having to return the broken one. They sent it in priority mail and I received my palette the 29th!

We all gasped and threw tarte out of makeup bags when the shape tape came out. The formual isnt good at all and there are not alot of color options since they have not expanded. The concealer is cakey and thin and does not cover up anything that i want to at least hide either

Such the worst experience I ever had for online purchase. I contacted the company after 2days of my purchase, to request a cancel of my order. They replied and said sorry, my shipment has been SHIPPED and I couldnt get a return. I asked for the tracking info and they said if theres any updated info, you could check online. From now on, its more than a week for the delivery, and still no more updated info. I contacted Canada Post and they said never received the item at all. Holy, wheres my shipment then? I am so DISAPPOINTED with this company. I would like to have a Full refund. My 1st and the LAST order from tarte.

Twice now I have ordered product from this site and it takes forever to arrive and the shipping invoice is incorrect. They say they don't have it in stock after it clearly was in stock 3 weeks before when I ordered it. Offered a refund and then 20% off another product. If I haven't figured it out after the first time why after the second time of this happening would I bother trying to buy something with my chances of actually receiving what I ordered only being fifty percent. Terrible odds for a company. No, if it is not in stock 3 weeks after I ordered it you find something suitable to replace it and then give me something free for my angst since stress is the good precursor to heart attacks. I ordered because I wanted something that you said you had in stock 3 weeks ago. Why does it take so long anyway. It's lipstick, not a rocket to fly to the moon. I didn't order a special purple car that only drives on the souls of those who believe in the tooth fairly. Only 1 time have I ever been able to get anyone on the phone. I like most of the product, however I was disappointed with the lip gift set this Christmas. They must really be going down hill.
