I ordered 2 items from them 3.5 weeks ago. My package arrived over a week late and one of the items was missing. When I contacted Tarte they did not offer to replace it for me right away, I kept having to ask. They acted like they did not care at all. When they finally agreed to send me the item I had already paid for they told me it would not be shipped for at least 6 more days. So by time I get this item (if I get it!) I will have waited at least a month and a half. Do yourself a favour and stick to buying their products from Sephora if you are going to buy them at all.

My go to makeup brand

All of the negative reviews scared me off a bit but my experience was better! I received the tracking number within 3 days of ordering. The packaging was perfect. Everything was wrapped very well and I love that their products are natural!

I placed an order and waited almost 3 weeks to get it (when I was told it would be 10 days). The website tracking always said the status was unavailable. When I contacted customer service I kept getting different dates for delivery. I finally asked for a refund and they said it would be 7-10 days before that was processed. Horrible ordering, processing, receiving and customer service. This was my first time ordering from here and I will never order again.

Don't order if you're not in the contiguous US! I live in HI and selected standard shipping at checkout. Their "standard" shipping method is Smartpost and it's expected to arrive 1 month away! Contacted them and all they did was re-give the same tracking number that I already have from the "item shipped" email and told me "you should be receiving your items soon." Why is standard shipping $6 for the slowest possible delivery method?!?! Said once it leaves their warehouse it is beyond their control. That's not my issue. My issue is that no where in their FAQ or selecting shipping options does it say they will ship via Smartpost! If you spend $6 for "standard shipping" why would you actually make customers pay $6 to receive their items one month later. Absolutely ridiculous.

The whole delivery process takes more than 3 weeks. I hope the product makes up for this dissapointment. I will not be ordering from here again, instead I'll go on the general makeup sites like Ulta or Sephora.

I've thrown all my cosmetics away and bought a lot of products from tarte because I thought it is natural. But it isn't. It's a very well hidden lie. I'm surprised that you can do that in America and how many people fall for it, incl. Me.

Furthermore its service is more than bulls**t. I've ordered a lot of lip stick. One of these is a used one with a tester sticker on it. So disgusting. I've sent all the pictures and information to Tarte. They say they take a look at it, for 1 month now. My email stays unanswered. The hotline is always "busy". I've tried to call for about 20 times.

People please: never never ever buy from Tarte. They are fascinated liers.

Horrible shipping

For the price of these products I at least expected decent shipping. My order from the Tarte website came in a box that was completely smashed, it was taped together because it had opened during transit, and there was no order form in the box. This is so unprofessional! Ulta has better shipping so I will be to ordering Tarte products from their website instead.

My order never arrived even though FedEx marked it as delivered, and so I emailed them and within an hour they were already sending me another parcel free of charge (with overnight shipping).

The person who responded was super friendly and helpful! I was a little nervous since I prefer to speak to someone over the phone, but they responded promptly (on a Sunday) and the online email form was easy to fill out. Soso happy that it all worked out.

Ridiculous

Their website is hard to navigate, and every time I want to do anything, it says I need to log in, which i am...
I have no access to leave reviews, which makes me think the reviews are fake.
I bought shape tape concealer and it does NOT cover anything. My blemishes glow right through. I suggest NARS concealer. It's so much better.

I've attached an image so you can see my zit glowing right through...
Like... it's supposed to be concealer. I'll use this when it gets older... hopefully it'll thicken up. Ugh.

FRAUD
April 21, 2020

April 20,2020 they had 50% off tarte shape tape concealers for 48 hrs. When you try to check out, it says there is an error with your credit card payment which is completely false because everything completed was correct. Your order is not processed but you are still charged with an unauthorized payment. This is fraud. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I was on the phone for 3 hrs and I was told the same $#*!ing message over and over again. I will NEVER recommend this brand to anyone.

I ordered the tarte Exfoliatir stick and clay mask on 7/6/17. Received my order 7 days later, there was nothing in it except a shape tape contour stick. Which was not even part of my order. I called Tarte customer service and explained my problem. The agent said they were sending me replacements priority shipping and that I would receive an email with tracking info. Never got an email with tracking and have yet to receive the replacement items. I will be filing a dispute w/ my credit card company!

Customer service sh*t

I bought two new palettes from them, I have never had an issue with them and I love their products. But I've sworn to never buy from them again after today. I received two palettes as gifts and one came broken, so I contacted customer service and they were no help they kinda sent back and forth emails. This was a gift and sad to say I'm disappointed since I waited over a week and a half to get it. They offered me to send it back and get a new one, and I didn't want another broken one because they don't pack their products correctly. Tissue paper is it considered safe to ship in but I guess they could care less.

I placed an order 4 days ago. I did not get a conformation email nor is there any record of it in my Tarte acct. The funds have been deducted from my CC acct. With NO delay though! I have emailed them twice and called once about this with no response. I will NEVER use this site again.

Worst customer service - No one answers the phone, no one returns emails. Site crashed while was making a payment - so i ordered again and ended up with 2 identical orders. Returned one and never gos a refund. No one responds to my emails, live chat is automated and just asks for email info, calling customer service - no one pics up. Don't order through their site - better off ordering from Sephora or some other site. I would not buy their products anymore. This place is a SCAM.

Its been more than 2 weeks since I placed an order with tarte consmetics website. There is no response from them. The order is not shipped. They have taken money but there is no trace of my order. The toll free number is going to VM since ages.Is there any way we can reach out to them or book complaint against them. Please do not buy anything from Tarte ever, unless you are fine loosing your hard earned money.

SCAM, DO NOT ORDER

I had ordered a ton of products from this company and according to my shipping tracking code it should have come weeks ago. I have called the company several times and no one in customer service ever answers the phone. I have called FedEx and they have confirmed that the shipment was never sent to them. I of course have already been charged and now I have no product. What a crock of $#*!!

I placed my order on 3 November waited a month. After this I contacted the company to find out where my order is and have been given a tracking number which did not work. DHL said on 28 Nov that the order has not even been processed yet. Tarte said I need to chase the order as they cannot do that even if they are the one who placed the order. What a joke. I wonder if I ever get my money back?

I love the products. But I have a huge issue with their support team. After mixing up my emails Tarte will not reset my password for me. When I try to reset my password the email comes to me BLANK! The support team says its linked to my facebook account but its not even a email for facebook. Guess they don't give two $#*!s about customer service. Only reason why I want my login is because I get a pro discount. To which they only allow you Once a month to purchase with that discount. Biggest bull$#*! ever!.

I love Tarte's cosmetics

I love Tarte's cosmetics. However, their website is confusing. There are ads that pop up randomly, freezing the computer and keeping you from reading anything. I couldn't find a way to list all of their products at once, which is hard to deal with when all you remember about the product your niece wants is that it has "bamboo" in the name. Altogether, I prefer to buy Tarte's products from Sephora

Ruined my Birthday

My husband let me order the mermaid brushes and holder for my birthday present to pick out for myself, and after waiting a week to hear back about if it had shipped I did not receive any email confirmation. It finally arrived in the afternoon, and NOTHING I ordered was in the box. It was all the wrong item, and I did not even get an invoice in the box of what I ordered. I am very upset, and just want to get my money back. I will never order from them again, because I trusted they know how to put their orders together. I will just go pick out the items at sephora instead when I finally get some time to go shop.
