Ordered on 11-27-18, it is now 12-11-18. I still don't have my order. It may arrive today but, who knows? I never ordered anything that has taken this long. It took over a week to just process. Next time I'll skip the sale and just go the 30 miles to Ulta and pay full price.
I made a few purchases during the birthday sale last week about 2 days apart. As of today it has been one week and I never received confirmation of an order. I also have not received any of the items. I emailed their people and they had me answer all of these questions and I haven't heard back yet. I am talking over $100 worth of product and I can't even get a confirmation email. I am very unhappy with this. Even more so, if they come back and tell me the order never went through. I have the proof that I was charged.
Anyways, if they say it did not go through I will say fine, don't bother just give me a refund. Even if it does go through I am not planning on buying again. I am really disappointed in their slow shipping and non-existent communication. I will be more than happy to start investing in other cruelty free brands. Especially when Wet N Wild is much cheaper and has similar products.

All of Tarte's products have quite good quality, however, only a few products truly blow it out of the park - namely Tarte Shape Tape and the Toasted Eyeshadow palette. In general, all of their products are easy to use and very pigmented. Shipping costs a flat rate of $10, and takes about 2-3 weeks to arrive. I've never tried contacting their customer service before, but I've heard they are really good!
I've been using make up from this company for almost 8 years now. It is by far the best cosmetic line I have ever used. I am a professional make up artist and I use this for almost all of my jobs. I perform so well in last so very long. They have great prices awesome customer service and they do a ton of wonderful sales all throughout the year
Placed an order during their birthday sales for the 1st time. I gave it a shot, knowing it wasn't a whole lot of money anyway because, I red these reviews before and I was pretty cautious.
It's a total shame some of you guys had a bad C. S. experience. On my end, they were pretty helpful on the phone and through email. Didn't get a confirmation email right away due to their "high volume of order", I was told I would get it later on which happened.
Plus I don't live in the US but, it still arrived within less than 2 weeks.
I kept in touch on the phone and they sent me the tracking info through email.
Overall I am pretty satisfied and I am considering of buying from them again (if not at sephora) but I also keep in mind all the other bad reviews which I'm surprised about.
My daughter and I both placed separate orders on the same day. When hers arrived, mine had not even been processed. I followed up with Tarte and received a processed email then. 3 days later my order still hasn't been shipped according to their website. I called the customer service line and both the phone agent and supervisor were very difficult and uncaring. They stated they were too busy to update the website on order status! They claimed that my order is expected to deliver next day. As much as I like Tarte products, there are SO many other brands available that provide much better customer service, promotions,... I will take my business elsewhere if this is a reflection of how Tarte takes care of their customers!
Don't bother with express shipping they have it as an option on their website but they don't provide the service they just take your money for it and your order sits in the warehouse for 4 to 5 days! If that doesn't sound like a scam I don't know what does? I called twice as I needed this order fast hence paying express shipping there is nothing they can do their processing time is up to 3 business days and mind you my order is sitting at 4 days in the warehouse as of now! This company is not reliable & your better off spending your hard earned coin somewhere else! I leave out of state tomorrow & all that makeup will be sitting in 100 degree weather melting!
I placed an order for a special makeup kit that was final sale, once ordered it advised me shipping might be longer than expected. This was fine as it's a xmas gift and it is currently June. After not receiving package after a week I checked the status and the shipping co DHL cited "insufficient address" turns out the zip was off by two numbers and it was currently being shipped back to Tarte (no notification to me). Customer Service along with a manager told me 5 out of 6 of my products were out of stock and they can only give me a full refund and 70% off code. As a previous e-commerce employee, I don't understand why they do not have the ability to notify their warehouse to send my package to the correct address - but, alas, they say they cannot do it. This was my first or second time shopping with Tarte for xmas gifts for my daughter and I will not be giving them my business after this occurrence.
I keep getting emails offering me 15% off a specific product. Each attempt to use it says in my cart that specific item is excluded from coupons. I have talked to Customerservice twice. Once I was told they would get back to me by email soon. The second time no response at all. In the meantime I have received two more emails with codes off for the specific product I have already had trouble with that once again don't work. There's lots of other products out there sold by companies that actually care about the customer. I don't need Tarte.
Heard a lot of great things about Tarte products, so I decided to order from them for the first time during their big sale. First off, it said my order didn't go through and that my card was declined. I look my bank account and they charged me twice! Then when I finally received my package, one of the items was missing. I called Tarte Customer Service and they said they would send me the missing product free of charge AND with overnight shipping. I received an email saying my package had shipped but of course it did not come on the scheduled delivery date. So I called FedEx and they told me that Tarte didn't even ship out my package! Beyond frustrated with this company, will not be ordering from them again!
Great products but the worst customer service on the planet. I honestly cant believe they dont give a damn about their good customers. They really dont want to help even though ive spent hundreds. Really put off buying again!
Ordered my items on May 1st. Been more than a month and have contacted tarte's customer service regarding the item, they just brushed the issue aside saying either to wait, or contact the courier. Contacted the courier which told me that tarte has to issue an investigation in order to know the status of the item. But till now, there is no update with regards to the items.

So today I ordered some Tarte products because they were having a promo in which you paid 35 dollars for 4 products. When I was checking out and clicked the button tu submit my purchase the website showed a sign which said that I had to check my billing data or credit card info cause it was wrong. I double checked and, again, I clicked the button to finalize my purchase, however, the Tarte website kept showing that sign. I decided to check my Bank account and with surprise I found out that they had charged me twice!. I never got a confirmation order number and when I look up my Tarte account it says that I haven´t ordered anything yet. Awful experience... Now I am trying to contact the Tarte Team, but this situation is very disgusting for being my first purchase. Never buying again in this store!
Ordered 5 days ago. The amount was deducted on my paypal account however the one written on my main account said that it was cancelled. Sent an email but got no reply. I dont know why they charge it right away but they'll just cancel it.

I dont write negative reviews about something unless I am SO ridiculously pissed with that thing! So ordered 1 eyeshadow palette and 1 eyeliner from tarte official website and paid through paypal. I live in sydney so I knew it will take a while to come, so was waiting patiently. So after 15 days I got the delivery box which was pretty big and packaging was nice too. I was so happy opening it as its my first online purchase from an USA website and it came earlier than i expected. But i was utterly disappointed after opening it when i saw My Amazonian clay waterproof liner was missing and there was just the eyeshadow palette. I know its not too expensive thing but i am totally disappointed with their service and never again buying from them
I placed an order on 3/27/2017. Tracking information showed I will receive it on 4/4/2017. Been home waiting all day nothing got delivered. Signed in via FB because it won't let me sign in any other way. Now it's showing I don't have any orders or any points. But I was charged on 3/27/2017. So what happened to my money and my order?
I ordered a shadow palette that arrived broken (shipped via FedEx). Initiated an exchange, very simple and sent it back. They shipped a new one at no cost delivered in 2 days. This one, also arrived broken. I called customer service and without any hassle or explanation they refunded my money AND let me keep the palette.
I bought make up for $60 dollars from the tarte online website. I am still waiting for the shipment confirmation email! I contact them several times via email and even via live chat: I only got the same generic answer over and over that shipment takes 2-3 days and delivery 7-10 days; meanwhile it's almost a week that I made this purchase and no info about the status of my purchase whatsoever! Never purchasing from tarte ever again! STAY AWAY!
I will literally never order anything off the Tarte.com website again. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I placed an order during a promotional offer and spent $70. It's been 10 days and I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation. I emailed them to ask about changing the shipping address since it hasn't shipped and they basically said "Sorry you're SOL, it's already shipped" LIKE WHERE.
Answer: I just had this problem and I am currently speaking with a Tarte Customer Service Manager. They will claim that they didn't charge the card and they'll send you an email confirming that. What you can do is file a dispute case with your bank. It will take 30-90 days. Tarte is a horrible horrible company.
