I ordered hauls from 29September2016, they have deduct my money but since them they didnt give me any tracking number, i did email them thousand time but they didnt even reply. BH Cosmetics have better service then they did! U SUCK TARTE! PRICEY BUT YOUR SERVICE ARE BY FAR WAY WORST THAN I COULD IMAGINE IT WOULD BE!
It is such a shame to give this review as I absolutely love Tarte products but sadly they cancelled one of my online orders by accident without telling me about it and the first I knew about it was when my items hadn't arrived in the post. Additionally when I finally received an order the items were badly damaged. The moisturiser that I ordered split open and the entire contents leaked out over all of my other products (although some items salvageable from the damage) but sadly after contacting customer services on 3 separate ocassions in order to resolve my complaint (ie: replacing the damaged item) they have simply ignored all of my complaints and attempts to contact them. It is such a shame as I absolutely love Tarte products and wanted to switch to this brand but based on the damaged items and cancelled orders and terrible customer services I have no confidence left in this company. Had they at least done the right thing and replaced the damaged item I could have considered using them again but to pay for something that was damaged and unusable and then to ignore all of my attempts to contact them regarding this is absolutely terrible customer service. I will sadly never ever use them again!
I ordered my tarte products from the birthday sale and got it two weeks later, my pallete was cracked when I opened the box otherwise the product is great.
I ordered the birthday surprise set and after two weeks of waiting called Tarte. I had an expected date and then the following day it said no scheduled delivery. After calling and live texting I got three different reasons why I never got my order. FEDEX tracking said it was damaged in some other state, the person on the phone said it was FEDEX that cancelled it because my shipping and billing address were different. Then I said this is because of FEDEX and then changed it and said it was Tarte and that the addresses have to be the same. I asked why is there an option to put in a different address and not state this? Then on the live text convo tell me the reason because I have been given multiple. They said it was delivered and I was not there. I said FEDEX said it was damaged in another state and never made it to mine. Nothing adds up and I was told I can have a refund. How is that going out of your way for your mistake? I had to call to fix it and was told the wrong amount twice after telling them what was taken out of my account. All they had to say is sorry.
11/30/2020 Tried placing an order but kept getting this message Your order could not be submitted. Please double check your billing address, credit card number and CVV carefully so we can get you your order asap! Thank you for your patience! Called customer service followed all their advice and still nothing worked all cards have been charged? What is going on here. Keep saying something is wrong with my information I keep telling them all my cards work and no where near their limits. 15 different cards and had two other people try with there information and address and guess what they also were not able to make a purchase. Tartecosmetics you really need to get this fixed! Happly went to other places and made purchases on each card over 700 each and guess what none of those sales went to you and none were declined hmmmmmmm? They also shipped my items from a previouse sale in a flimsy box that had items missing from a previous order my two year old could pack better. Pictures submitted still waiting on refund?
I've been in the beauty industry since 2004. I've been licensed since 2009. I've had a PRO discount with Tarte since 2011. By December 2022 I stopped receiving my industry discount. When I reached out via their customer service I was informed it was due to my e-mail being unsubscribed, which "allegedly" was remedied. When I contacted them a month later without receiving my PRO discount again, I was told the issue would be moved up the ladder and provided a code on their end. When I went to purchase my products the code was only for 20% off. Once again reaching out to customer service I was told certain products coupons were not applicable towards. When customer service tried to tell me it was because "x product" was not discounted, I let them know that was untrue as it always had been in the future and if that were the case the coupon code wouldn't work on it. The problem is they refuse to provide me with the accurate code. Which for the last 12 years has been 40% off. Instead of issuing me the correct one for checkout, they wanted me to purchase my items with the incorrect code, wait 1-3 days for them to ship it, contact them again and wait for a price adjustment. Listen, I've been in this industry for too damn long, wearing too many hats, for too many companies, for too many brands, with too much insider knowledge to know this is one of the most EGREGIOUS forms of customer service I have ever encountered. I've been on the backend of these situations myself, and for Tarte employees to be this vague, this ill-informed, this poorly directed in protocol, to prompt me to write a disparaging review, you know it's bad. Get your act together, provide succinct straight-forward responses to the questions I ask, do not leave the customer having to service themselves, and be conscious of the fact that poor interactions leave a very lasting impression. I will not move forward with Tarte in any capacity until, if ever, they get their act together once more.
The international shipping method is the worst ever made! I have orderer something on July 3rd and still now I have not received even though it is by DHL

I made a large order 3 weeks ago now and the payment went through and when I woke up and checked my tarte account it said the payment had been declined! Checked my bank the payment was pending and I had enough money in my account, I email them, they said the issue is my bank, I call me bank apparently tarte was not accepting my payment, I email tarte back, for 2 weeks the kept emailing me telling me it was my side that wasn't working. FINALLY someone emails me after back and forth for 2 weeks to make sure my biller address matches my address I have with my bank, post codes were different (ok BUT WHY DID IT TAKE 2 WEEKS FOR SOMEONE TO TELL ME THIS) so finally money dropped back into my account, made the order again last night wake up this morning THE ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELED WWTTFFF I have never ever had this many problems with anything and the customer service is seriously lost!
I ordered one of tarte's concealers and I received it two weeks later. Everything was in fantastic condition! Very impressed.
Im Not Very Happy With Tartes Shipping Methods. After Ordering My Makeup I Expected It To Come Withen The 7-10 Days, But No, Its Taking Two Whole Weeks And Im Still Waiting For It Now. First Off, I Get A Email The Day After Ordering My Makeup And I Was Excited Because The Email Had Said The Makeup Had Shipped! But After Tracking It, The Label Was Created And That Was The Only Thing That Happened. So It Didnt Really Ship If It Hadnt Start To Move! Someone Needs To Teach Tarte What Shipped Means. Theyre Shipping Takes Ridiculously Long. It Took Four Days Just For It To Ship Out... I Receive My Orders Withen That Time! Im Speaking For Everyone Who Has Shipped From Tarte On This. I Could Be Very Impatient But It Shouldnt Take This Long For Makeup! My Order Is At The Fedex Station And Will Sit There For Four Days Before Its Delivered To My House. I Love Tarte For Their Makeup But They Need To Step Their Game Up.

Messaged them several times about Birthday email discount "oh some get it the first some get it the 15th" huh? That didn't saound right either way I never got it! They trick you into give them email for a "discount email" you'll never get! Most people I've asked never got. Received park ave princess bronzer horrible strong fake suntan lotion smell returned I'll have to call never got credit (not surprised) the guy I talked to when I called about the Odor, read completely different ingredients he said he saw on line than what I was looking at online AND ON THE BOX!? Said he would pass it on to education team and someone would contact me? LOL OH ok... I knew they wouldn't. I have no idea what's goin on there apprently they don't either. No follow ups for anything or credit for return but they damn well spam the crap out of you several times a day! Company is a nightmare! I was just thinking what a horrible expirence I had and that I have to waste time calling looking for credit. I will NEVER ORDER ANYTHING from Tarte again! Too much trouble for poor service! Way too expensive for crappy service too! Too faced has the best service! I'll give my business to them!
Answer: I just had this problem and I am currently speaking with a Tarte Customer Service Manager. They will claim that they didn't charge the card and they'll send you an email confirming that. What you can do is file a dispute case with your bank. It will take 30-90 days. Tarte is a horrible horrible company.
