The stores are very messy. So many things out of place. And I think it's ridiculous that their online doesn't ship jeans. You can buy almost anything you want online and have it shipped to your house but not jeans from target.

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I knew exactly which pants I wanted, including size and color. The store I had gone to had limited selection. Can't shop the website. Can only shop individual stores. Tried random stores across the country, finally found what I wanted, and it reset to a larger size. Finally gave up on buying pants at all and tried to buy digital turbotax instead. I have gift cards I want to use up! Go to checkout, I have to create an account. I don't want an account, especially after a terrible shopping experience. No way to checkout as a guest. I was so done with Target by now I threw the gift cards up in the air. My boyfriend gladly claimed them. I say good riddance!

Back in 2021, end of October, I had an issue registering on the target website. After 5-6 times of talking with customer support, they could not figure out, why I could not open a registration/login page. After researching, I finally registered on the website and preordered two items. Since December, I've been approving delays on shipment and had zero problems with that, until today, when I found out that they canceled my order because it was out of stock. Here is their question now, what's the point of preordering items, approving delays for months, and then suddenly without any warning, they are canceling it.
Of course, support had no idea what to do, except "Sorry for disappointment".

I'm really annoyed and I'll write this review everywhere, even though, I know its not gonna do anything.

My wife and I stopped at the target in Springfield pa.
Loaded the cart with our needs only to find all of the self checkouts in the store were close and they only had two registers open in the hole up and down stairs.
We got in line behind the other 40 people waiting to check out.
After standing in the same spot for what seamed like forever in reality 16 minute's without any movement whatsoever.
People started asking them to open the self checkouts so we could all Make our purchases.
The man standing guard or so it seamed just said no wait your turn.
After that several people including my wife and I found no need to stay in line any longer and simply left our carts and walked out of the store in Discussed.
For my wife and I never to return again.
That is simply no way to treat customers all they had to do was open the self checkouts or more Registers. Simple Ridiculous

Bad Customer Service

I ordered a TV online and the item never shipped when you go to ask questions about it all you get are specific items from a drop down menu that are basically worthless and the only way to get someone to reach out to you is to cancel the order then it's a damn hassle

I ordered items for pick up at target. After arriving at store they did not have items and refused to issue a refund on charges. I have had several calls with customer service that went no where. I ended up taking a considerable amount of time to dispute charges and was successful. Do not shop target online. Bad business.

I opened a new account on Target.com and was setting up my first transaction. I submitted it and was notified that my order was canceled. I though this was weird so I searched through all of the information, and everything was correct so I tried to order it again and it was canceled again. I then called customer service and they said that they fixed the issue. I ordered again, and low and behold, it was canceled again. This happened multiple times until I was sent an email about how Target banned me from ordering items online. I am frustrated as I feel like customer service lied to me multiple times. I am not going to shop in store because I feel like this will continue happening. What a waste of $130!

It was okay.

I went to target to buy a present for my friend for his birthday. When I was looking, I went into the bathroom, and when I walked in there, somebody was having an entire graduation party in there. Every stall was taken up, they had presents stacked up to the ceiling in every stall, and had a big graduation cake on top of the sinks. There was probably 10 people in there. It gave me a headache. But other than that, I found everything I needed at target, and I will definitely be back again (as long as there's no more bathroom parties, I think its a tiktok trend).

Target has changed during this past year, there customer service is horrible now. They were not only rude to me but refused to take any action for a package that I ordered from them and never received. They basically stole my money and spat in my face. I just canceled my store card I am done doing business with them.

IMS is not updated in real time to reflect actual stock in the store, which is absolutely insane to me. Changes in current orders are not emailed to the customer in a timely manner, takes about 24 hours for the automated system to send the email which at that point you've already gone out of your way to figure out what's going on with your order.

Stay away from Target's online ordering if you value your time. It will be wasted, guaranteed.

Bad customer service
December 29, 2021

I ordered two humidifiers that I needed asap because my son is sick. It was scheduled to be delivered between 6pm and 7pm. No one showed up. So I called Target.com and inquired about my products. I was placed on hold for seven minutes until they found my shopper. Then I was informed that they would not be able to deliver until the next day at 8pm. I informed the rep that I could not wait that long and that I wish they would have contacted me about this. Before I could get my sentence out, the rep says well you just want to cancel the order. I said yes because I need to get someone to go get the products the same day. She cancelled my order and was supposed to refund my entire order but she didn't. My refund was $15.96 short. I called customer service again and informed them of the mistake. The rep was very rude and told me that they would not refund $5 for a promotional coupon that did not affect what I paid for my products and was very rude about it. Then she told me that all I was missing was $9.99. I told her that it did not add up. The numbers did not add up. Could I speak to someone else or a supervisor. She told me that their is no one else to talk to and that was it. So basically they took my money and was very rude. That was my first time shopping at target.com and it will be my last time. I am contacting legal counsel because I can't be the first person that Target has taken money from fraudulently. I am also contacting my bank for fraud.

Gift card Scam

The only reason I went into Target was because my son had a $20 gift card. I bought him a movie that was $10 more than at Walmart/Amazon, which should have been $4 with gift card. 1-800 number said it was $20 with no transys and cashier said there was nothing on it. I ended up paying over price for a movie, not to disappoint my son. I called 1-800 number and spoke to someone I could barely understand, he forward me to fraud and all I heard was the sound of a hurricane for a minute. I went back to 1-800 number and my balance was zero all of a sudden. In my opinion is that Target is taking your money and not putting it on gift card and it's your job to prove you didn't use it.

Item arrived USED and dirty.

We had just moved into a new home on December 20th in NC and we purchased a Dirt Devil vacuum for online delivery. We intended to use it right after Christmas weekend, to clean up after unpacking many boxes of our belongings The vacuum arrived on Dec 24 as expected. We did not open the box until Monday December 27th, having celebrated Christmas with family. When we opened the delivery box, we noticed that the manufacturer's vacuum box had been re-taped shut by someone. We then opened the box and found that someone had written on the instruction book that came in the box. We then noticed that the vacuum had been USED... there was dirt in the dust/dirt holder. YUK!
We went online to look up return instructions. The vacuum can only be retuned in-store... it cannot be returned by Fed-Ex/UPS. How inconvenient it will be to bring a return to a Target retail store just a couple of days after Christmas! This will be our last online purchase from Target.

Delays on Shipping Products

I ordered a file cabinet on December 13th as a Christmas gift. Please don't order any Christmas Gifts it won't make it on time. Clearly, Target do not know the value of
Christmas like most normal retailers. Also, the customer service was terrible.

Took a check for $1397. 00 to target to pay my account off. Ten days later they take $ 50.00 out of my account that I setup with auto pay. I called to find out what happened with the check of 1397 and I was told that they had trouble on there end and could not process the check. I asked what happened with the check? Was told that it was returned. I asked who did you send it to? The person that made it out. I asked who might that be? He said I don't know. I asked where is the check at? He said that it was destroyed. WHAT? I asked why didn't you inform me as to what was going on? He would not answer me. Call corporate office and was put on hold. No one ever answered. I will never shop or set foot in TARGET ever again.
