I needed a new cell phone quickly, and my roommate recommended Swappa. For just $40 bucks I got a phone that's compatible with Windows Phone 10. Not only is that a super deal, but I got the phone within three days, no damage, well packaged, and with two charging cables. I'll definitely look to Swappa in the future. Limbaugh/Coulter 2016.
I bought 4 g4 phones on 3/30. The 2 bought on glyde arrived 4/4 and 4/6. The glyde phones are expected about 10 days from now 4/6. Very impressed with swappa.

It was awesome, very easy to buy or sell a phone. I bought my phone through Swappa. I love how Swappa check phone seller and phone first before putting it out in the market for others to buy. I think that's a very safe way to keep Spam sellers out of the Selling market.

First time buying a phone on Swappa... and my last...
Seller had a LG V10 in mint condition with screen protector for 330, which was 25% less than any other mint condition phone. So I thought to myself, wow what a great deal! I obviously bought as I saw the seller had 13 - 5 star reviews... what could go wrong, right?!?!?!
Phone arrived in the original box which was bent and thrashed. The phone had a spigen protector on it with a piece of body hair stuck to the screen. When I took the case off, the front sensor had a deep scratch and 2 nicks on the bottom. Far from mint condition! The box also had the battery and charger wrapper in it with no accessories which was just plain disrespectful. Then the seller had the nerve to say it wasn't like that when he shipped it.
Well long story short, the seller had a conscious and refunded me 125 for the phone. So at the very least I have him a positive review for him for making things right. But obviously not what was advertised...
If you buy on Swappa, proceed with caution...

The phone I received could not connect to network. Thankfully, Apple gave me a brand new phone in exchange for the bad one. Also, the charger I was given was broken and fake.

I have used Swappa for several years and have had nothing but great experiences. They VET all the phones through their IMEI and ensure they are ready for sale. If an item isn't as advertised you are guaranteed satisfaction because they only accept PayPal. However, I've not had any issues.

It will be quite sometime before I darken the door of a telephone store. The site is well organized and easy to navigate. Shipping is covered and sellers are not smacked with ebay like selling fees. Forget ebay. Check out Swappa.

I have heard of Swappa a while ago, but was never in the market for a new phone. This all changed when my previous phone's batter heat-inflated, busting open the casing. I finally made a Swappa account and browsed around for a bit. Searching the site is very easy since it is well-organized. The friendly community was there to answer any questions I had, and the star-rating/review system makes it easy to find trusted parties to do business with. The price history graphs makes finding the right device for the right price really simple and ensures that users are informed which in turn makes listing prices fair. I was surprised at how well done the private sale page was. Each step of the buying process was able to be checked off from both parties, the tracking number appeared there when shipped, the comments area is great to contact the party you are doing business with as well as Swappa staff if needed, and rating the experience was simple and straightforward while confirming the order made it to it's destination. I would be more than happy to recommend friends and use Swappa again in the future!
The two times I purchased a phone off swappa, the team was amazing at helping me out. The customer service is great and I appreciate how they care about the customers and making sure they aren't scammed. This is a great site and I've recommended it to friends looking to get a used phone.
The buying experience was perfect. I could choose from great phones that were in good shape, and the prices were reasonable. No more 2-year contracts or $600 lease options (where you give your phone away, if it survived) for me. From now on, it's Swappa!

Phone is gem mint and was able to sign up with verizon with no problem. Extremely happy as it has let me bring my mom to the 21st century. And will hopefully have no issues with her phone in the near future.
The purchase experience was simple and efficient as usual. The phone arrived quickly and exactly as advertised. The online search and ordering process is very easy and straight forward. Have bought from Swappa before and will again.
Swappa totally put things in the buy's and Seller's hands. They can only suggest resolution, so you need to escalate issues to PayPal. The sellers I had issues with claim excellent condition and keep issues out of focus while not claiming in the ad, or rooted the phone and claim they did not. What is worse is Swappa will not post issues with seller if you end up returning the phone, you can't review your transactions.
