I am a new customer of swap.com. I love the clothing as i am a plus size and i definitedly love the prices. You can find everything your looking for in the line of clothing and shoes for the whole family from the toddler to the adult. I would continue ordering as the clothes are shipped in a timely manner. I would be recommending my family and friends to shop here.

Didn't receive my order
October 31, 2020

I received a notification from FedEx that my order was delivered. I never received the package. I tried contacting customer service. There are no phone numbers to call and speak to someone. They make you send an email. I sent an email 3 days ago and have yet to receive a response. This is unacceptable. I will never order from this site again just based on this interaction and this was my first purchase. I will continue to try to contact this company to find my package or issue me a refund. I've never had an issue likw this with tredup

Never Use This Site

I would never recommend anyone use this site. They steal your belongs and money and they charge you crazy fees to sell your items. They are suppose to help you sell your items when they actually ripe you off. This site is suppose to help not to rob you.

Their customer service is very rude when they speak with you. Very impatient like they don't like their job or known their job. If you don't like your job quit. Person I spoke to was (user id: *******175 Ceara).

Used to be worth it

Its getting rediculas. Garanimal clothing in Walmart prices for new are cheaper than on here. Who tf pays 8.00 for a kids tank too thats used. New is less. Ive found more over priced than new in store lately. I used to shop here. I wont anymore. I use thred up now

I was a new customer and ordered 4 items. I was happy with the items when they arrived, but the very strong smell of Fabreeze-like ordor was so bad I didn't think I could get it out. I immediately sent off an email to the company and said I would be returning all items due to the scent (I am not fragrance-sensitive). I enclosed a memo in the return box reminding them of the smell issue and asked for a full refund. They only refunded store credit. I sent another email and again asked for a full refund. They sent me an email which stated they looked into the matter and ""the return issue was found to be inaccurate", which means they are calling me a liar. I met all of their refund requirements and they still won't return my money. Horrible Customer Service! Buyer Beware...

The 60 day delay is because SWAP puts the items they purchase themselves ahead of the customers items to be processed to sell. They receive THOUSANDS of pounds of items they purchase themselves daily. This way, as opposed to getting a % of a Customer's sale, they will get 100% of their own sale. When you do the math, SWAP.com get's about 50% of what your item sells for. They encourage workers to push through expensive/name brand items so they can get a bigger profit in their pockets. They are ONLY about the money, not the customer.

I find myself adding and adding items to the cart and when I'm done, I just assume it's going to be this super high total and I'm going to have to remove items... but when I get to the shopping cart sometimes I have to continue shopping because the total is waaaaaaay less than I calculated. LOVE Swap.com!

I have never used Swaps Media Service as mentioned in earlier reviews. But I do use their new Swap Valet and I absolutely LOVE IT! It is so easy! I've listed on Ebay for years and the most time consuming thing about ebay is the photos and shipping. I have shipped several HUGE boxes in to Swap and they do all the work. I've been selling and love trading my daughters outgrown clothes for what she can wear now and new toys! Their costumer serv has always gotten right back to me :) and my husband loves that i'm FINALLY clearing all these boxes out of the garage

After sending in about 3 box full of clothes maybe 20 pieces were approved the rest got rejected and after fees and shipping fees I sold almost all my items and made $2.50. What a joke never use this site again to sell anything, And alot of the items were in good condition I could of sold on offerup or a yardsale and made more money waste of time i wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Disappointed
June 14, 2023

I should've read the reviews before placing two orders. I received the first one with missing items, items that are supposed to be NWTs are not and stained items when I only ordered from NWT tabs. I've ordered from them before and everything I got was as described. Now, they don't answer email, they send damaged items and they don't send all of them. I can't even do returns if I wanted to because they gave someone else's invoice and return label.

This used to be the best site to buy clothes. The prices have almost doubled in the last year, not many coupons anymore. 100 percents satisfaction or full refund~ Um, you do not get a refund, you get a credit! Very disappointed right now. The selling program is awful now too. You can not make any money on this site anymore~ I used to buy something every month, I won't anymore. I'm so disappointed and bummed by their actions. Read the other reviews by people. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I was supposed to get a refund on my credit card, but I got a store credit instead :( That's why i'm writing a review. I'm done~

I've had no problems buying clothing from here. In fact, most of my Summer wardrobe is from Swap, New or Like New condition, with some in Good condition. Four times I've had to return items. First time they returned my money without my having to return item. After thst, an RMA was required, but there's no limit. For the amt of clothing I've purchased, I'm very happy with the number of returns. If you need to call or contact them, they are VERY helpful! I'd be lost if they were no longer around! I haven't sold yet, just a bit hesistant. Only because I like to have the clothing local, so if I want unsold items returned, it's easy & costs nothing!

I am a frequent user of consignment/online thrift sites, and have bought a few items from swap.com with no complaints. I tried selling with them for the first time and it was a painful, long and unrewarding experience. Sent a large box (meeting their requirements) with good, clean, brand-name items. After 3 months, multiple "invoice fees" for the same box, a rejection rate of 25%, I received ZERO money or store credit. They used a lot of verbage to give me nothing for over 50 items. I am a young woman in my 30s, very fashionable, and am confident that these items deserved a payout and would have happily taken store credit. DO NOT SELL HERE- STAY AWAY! Use other sites (thredup, poshmark, ebay, tradesey).

Thank you for your review of your selling experience. Our current processing fee is $11.90 per inbound label, or $14.90 per label and shipping materials. However, you do not pay for the shipping of your inbound items.

We do not charge for rejection percentages of 25%. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please, email assistance@swap.com so we could sort this out for you.

You receive a payout for your sold items, based on your payout preferences, on the 1st and 16th of each month, and not a one time bulk payout. We can also always look into up to 20 not accepted items per inbound, for a second review. Simply email us with the bundle's Item ID (located in the item description) and we would love to do so for you.

Keep in mind that currently, your not accepted items are loaded to your account first, and accepted items are listed thereafter.

Unparalleled Failure…Has Gone To Trash…

I have been a frequent and loyal customer of swap.com for years and always gave them 5 Stars for value and customer service…but NOT anymore! I'm not sure what's happened but the entire year of 2021 has been a complete failure in service on their part and a constant source of frustration for me. Orders have taken up to TWO months to be shipped out from date of purchase. Returns I sent back months ago are still NOT processed. And customer service is nearly nonexistent! I have had maybe 1/4 or less of my inquiries about orders/returns responded to! Literally NO return response from customer service regarding important and legitimate issues. Money I've spent with their company but have received NOTHING in return. Oh! And about 1/3 of the items I ordered (in multiple orders) were suddenly ‘unavailable' or went suddenly missing by the time items were finally shipped (over a month later in most cases). I was eventually refunded but cannot fathom how this regularly happens with this company. I suspect they won't be around for much longer—I've already switched to ThreadUp where customer service is awesome!

When you send in a box of your clothes all you are doing is lining their pockets not yours! They claim that you can make over $150 per box and with 4 boxes sent in (more than 75% sold) I have only made back what i have paid to ship it there! They take all of your profits! I sold many items for their minimum $3 to move them and of the $3 they took $2.25! That is silly! I wish I would have kept my sons baby clothes and just donated them to a local good cause. This website and their customer service team are rude, mean and only care about making money off your items while you suffer. SAVE YOUR BREATH AND JUST DONATE OR GO ELSEWHERE!

I began using swap.com for the first time about last spring. I recall being overjoyed by their resonance prices. It was like shopping at a neighborhood thrift store from the comfort of my bed. My first order I recall buying about 4 or so sun dresses, a toddler coat fory daughter and I believe another article of clothing or two for my daughter and it was all under $60. The second time I bought more about 4 more sundresses and again a couple items for my daughter for about $50-60. When the fall was approaching I went looking for sweaters and items forh daughter and I was outraged at their prices as I am now. Their prices are at full retail or what you would pay if an item was on sell brand new some items even more than what the store charges. What a rip off. I guess it was too good to be true after all.
