I first purchased a few items for my 5 year old daughter with Swap.com, and I was completely impressed with the wonderful quality and great condition the items were when they arrived. My daughter loved them, and thought they were actual all NEW items, because they looked new, not used. Then I shipped them ALL of my maternity clothes to sell on Swap.com. That was so EASY and hassle free! I have pretty much sold all of my maternity clothes. A few weeks later, I placed a second order for my daughter (mostly skorts) to wear this coming spring and summer. She was absolutely thrilled when she opened the box. If it wasn't January and 30 degrees outside, she would've had them on! Swap.com has saved me hundreds of dollars, and has paid me money for maternity clothes that would just be sitting in my attic. I love SWAP.COM!
Oh my gosh, I am so relived I came here. They were stealing my clothing too at first I was assuming maybe it will process later. Due to the amount of time but then I notied my designer items never made it. I sent in alot if brand new Kate Spade and then brand new Birks never made it. They had the nerve to tell me, If I did not feel comfortable sending it in then I should not of sent them. I was speechless but the other items made it through to processing. So I asked if they have cameras and of course they said no
I sold and bought on SWAP last year at the recommendation of a friend. The items I sent in were not brand new, but in very good used condition. I kept track and several were rejected, but I expected that. It took 2 months for me to receive notification that it was time to price my items. That bugged me a bit, but they were sorting and taking pictures and i certainly was not the only one. I have returned items and received my credit in a timely fashion and the money earned was posted to my Paypal account. There were not problems that I was aware of. However, this year when i wanted to send another box 7 weeks ago, I found that the site was shut down for inbounds and has been so for the past 7weeks. So, I am not sure what is going on and this is no way to run a business.
I found Swap.com while searching online. I have a new, wordrobe! Designer names, excellent quality, fast relable shipping and if i recommended others can earn credits. I could spend hours shopping here. I have made many purchases and love them all. Thanks Swap.com
First time buying here. Sizes vary greatly among different brands and none of the pants fit me. In addition, 4/6 items looked very worn out. I tried to return them for a refund but the return was automatically processed as store credit. I called the customer service and they tell me that THEY DON'T GIVE A REFUND unless the items were sent damaged or incorrectly. So, even after trying this store once and realizing I will not buy anything from this store again, I will never get my money back. I believe this is a SCAM making people try buying things from them, then once you spend your money, they profit regardless of product quality or your satisfaction. STAY AWAY!

Thank you for your business.
They have nice stuff. I have added them to my list of online stores.
I usually buy from new4her.com since they sell used clothes and new clothes too but I was happy to find swap.com recently too! Now I have 2 favs!
I liked Swap.com when I shipped them my first box two years ago. Now I do not like their new policy. 1. They set the selling price too high. 2. Some of their staff abuse the loophole of the policy of the rejected items.
Swap.com will not show the pictures of the rejected items to the seller if the seller selects to recycle them. Some of their staff could just take some items for their own use but claim those items were rejected after their inspection, and those rejected items were gone for recycle.
I sent them 2 boxes recently. I found 4 AF girl's clothes were rejected in the first box, but I know one jacket was in very good condition because my daughter only wore it a few times. Among the rejected items from 2nd box, there are two brand new items in the original packages, one pair of Ann Taylor brand new pants. I did not see any reason that those 3 items could be rejected. I only can guess they were stolen.
Hello,
Thank you for selling on Swap.com. We apologize you have not been as pleased recently with selling on our site. We definitely are looking to build strong partnerships with our Premier Sellers, so you have concerns regarding recent items, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team to discuss further. Our team can be reached via email at assistance@swap.com, or via phone at 630-296-0146.
Regarding the pricing of items, we closely look at the brand and condition of the items, as well as the seasonality and price accordingly for the item. Pricing items in the fashion allows us to have a consistent pricing method across similar items and brands for all sellers.
Regarding non accepted or rejected items, our new Premier Seller Program provides our sellers two options when ordering a label.
1. Sellers may request that their non accepted or rejected items are shipped home to them for a flat fee.
2. Sellers may request to recycle/donate non accepted or rejected items.
We moved to offering these two options, as it allows to more efficiently process boxes. Prior to having these two options, we would have to photograph and shelve all rejected items for 14 days to see if the seller would like to request the items home, and then if they did we would have to pick and ship them, or if they did not, then we would have to pull and recycle/donate.
Having our sellers select the option up front of what they want done with their rejects, allows us to make the decision at processing time, and allows us to process more boxes throughout the day. Getting our items on the site faster is a win/win as everyone sells more items faster.
Regarding your rejected items, please understand that we closely inspect every item. If there is even the smallest stain on an item, we would reject. We take the processing of our sellers items very seriously. If you are concerned you may have items that should have been accepted, and want to have a better look as to why they may not have been accepted, please request them home. Our merchandisers place a small sticker on the item to notate the opportunity spot. This may allow you to have a better understanding of what we look for.
We hope these details help you better understand our process, as we truly want to continue to partner with you.
Sincerely,
Jen - Swap.com
I used to actually be able to make a living doing swap. However, theyve upped their percentage rates of what they get it with no benefit to the seller whatsoever. They keep shutting down so that you cant send boxes in, limiting the amount of boxes you can send in. They say theyre going to give you an update they never do, change policies without updating. This company used to be five star company, the only reason I didnt give it one star is because Im hoping that they improve their service
Hello Brian,
We apologize for any frustrations you've recently had in selling with us. Regarding our commission structure, we've had the same structure in place since July 19,2017. We apologize for the inconvenience in not currently accepting new boxes. We have seen an increase in sellers working with us, and we are currently working through the backload of boxes prior to accepting and new boxes. This will allow us to ensure a better turnaround time for boxes coming in. We truly appreciate the partnership with our sellers, and hope you will continue to partner with us.
Sincerely,
Swap.com
I send in fresh washed cloth and shoes I never wore and never got a dime. Never got an email or notification and when I checked on it I was told they had an odor. How can something that is freshly washed or never been worn smell. BULL
I first purchased a sweater shrug and dress. The shrug was too small so I asked for a return label. I was told to keep the shrug for my inconvenience, but was issued a credit to my credit card the next day for the amt of purchase!
I ordered four more dresses; two fit, two were too small. I was immediately emailed a postage pd return label and a fed ex tracking number!
I definitely will purchase from this site many more times!
This is such a great site, and this is a great way to save money on great products! Everything came clean and fresh, and everything was carefully packaged separately. They have a ton of things to choose from. They have lots of ways to search and find what you are looking for... From New With Tags, Like New, Good Condition, and Fair Condition... to Children's Clothing, Toys, Baby Gear, Maternity Clothes, etc. I would definetly recommend this site to moms and dads, other grandmas and grandpas, to other family members, and friends! Enjoy "swapping"!
Not sure who is educated or not educated the people who shop there or the people who run the site, their prices are very high, I raised all my children on resale and no way would I pay $3.00 for a Garanimals top, they are $3.88 new, come on not everyone out there is that dumb, Gymboree clothing all has dates 2015 line is going to be worth more then the 2005 line but they do not disclose the dates on the Gymboree line, Childrens place clothing is cheaper new on their website then used on this site, educate yourself people or be ripped off.
I have ordered from swap.com 10 times. This is the first order that had a problem. I ordered a pair of shorts that stated the size was Youth size 8. When I received the item it was actually a size 5. Which will fit my son. I do not feel like going through the hassle of returning the item. So now I have a pair of size 5 Nike shorts that are useless to me. I hope in the future that swap.com staff pays closer attention to the size and lists them correctly. This will stop me from ordering in the future. Just disappointed that closer attention wasn't paid to the size. I would like to be reimbursed for the mistake just don't feel like I should have to return the item, wait for it to be received by swap.com then have to wait for the credit. Why should I have to go through all of the trouble when clearly the whole situation could have been avoided had their employee paid more attention in the first place.
I have purchased several orders from SWAP the past two months and everything I have received exceeded my expectations! Beautiful clothes and shoes (most were brand New with tags) at deeply discounted prices! One item was too large, the return was very easy and I received a quick credit to be used on a future purchase. I LOVE SWAP!
I purchased a shirt at a great price, even w/S&H. When it didn't fit I wrote in a review that it wasn't worth the postage to return it. SWAP wrote to tell me that returns were free and instructed me how to get the free return label. Done! I really appreciate that someone took the time to respond to my review and set me straight. I will be shopping more at Swap.
About a month ago, I saw an advertisement on a social media site about Swap.com and I ignored it. A few days later, I saw it again. I looked it over, and was frankly was a bit skeptical. A few days later, I saw it again, and figured that I would try it out (after all they were offering a complete refund if I wasn't happy). I thought I might buy 1 or 2 polo shirts. I bought 7 and the week after, I bought another 3. I love Swap.com. Give it a try; you have nothing to lose.
I ordered about 17 items. After a few emails asking for the status, they sent about 10 of the items. I continued to email asking them to cancel the remaining items and refund the remaining balance with absolutely NO response. I sent a final email explaining my next move of contacting my CC company to open a dispute and also the BBB and again NO response. Thus, I followed through to get my credit on my CC and now alerting others to the issues. I used to like them but something has changed and certainly not for the better. I will not order from them again.
I used swap.com for the first time, I was very satisfied with my purchase, the speed of delivery, the professional curitesy and that the products I ordered were exactly like the picture of the product being sold.
I have shopped Swap.Com a few times, bought more than a few items and have always gotten my moneys worth... Clothing items are always clean and fresh smelling, kids baseball gloves, that I buy to give to kids that have none, are always in excellent condition and make me proud, when I see their faces light up... Service is excellent, I have never been disappointed and I will "Shop the Swap" again and again.

I bought my summer skirts and tanks (as well as business clothes and jeans in the past). Everything fits and looks great. Quality clothes at great prices. Will defintely continue buying clothes at swap.com.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.
Answer: Hi Patricia, We are on about a 55-60 day delay in processing inbound shipments. When your items are processed, you will be notified via email that they are ready to be priced. Have you sent an email to our support team at assistance@swap.com yet? A member of our team can look up your account information and give you a better idea of exact when you can expect to see your items. Thank you, Lauren Swap.com Support Manager
Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.
Answer: Hi Jo, That is correct. You can return items that do not fit as long as you request the return within 30 days. We will send you a pre-paid UPS shipping label to send back your return free of charge. Once the return is received, we will refund your card within five (5) business days. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at assistance@swap.com. We are happy to help! Best, Matt
Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
