Swap.com is great for the buyer but bad for the seller. When they advertise $150.00 profit per box they are talking about for themselves - not the seller. I have sold many items and had 3 payouts@ $0.00 each. It takes them forever to process a box. By the time they are ready for you to price - the clothes you sent are out of season. They reject brand new name brand items and give you a bogus reason. They had put someone elses items on my acccount to price and some were rejected. I had to tell them 3 times they weren't my items. Then a month later they were back on and I was informed my rejection rate was 11%. But when I had a problem as a buyer it was corrected the first time. None of my items are old enough for sure sell but I pretty much know what is going to happen. They want to buy your stuff dirt cheap and give you $0.00 payouts. They will keep treating sellers this way until their stock diminishes and they need people to send in items.
I've made multiple purchases through Swap. Every time I've ordered something, without fail, there's a mistake. The men's shirt they have advertised online is, in reality, a child's small. The same thing goes for a snow suit I bought... it arrived and it was a child's small even though it was advertised in the Men's section. I bought a Hollister shirt that was listed "Like New" but had a 3 inch tear in the sleeve. I was awarded store credit for two items I sent back but after an email to the BBB and an email to their Corporate Office, I still never got my store credit. The company, in theory, is a good marketing strategy, but their customer service and product delivery isn't worth the headache. Save yourself the time, energy, and money and just go to the thrift stores in your city.
I love Swap.com. Every time I purchase an item, the package is professionally wrapped, received promptly and the item is in excellent condition. The prices and service is fantastic. I tell all my friends about Swap.com. Happy shopping!
Swap.com is a great service. I highly recommend it for buying baby/ children's clothing it's a great cheap alternative. Customer service is fast and reliable and selling is very easy! I will continue to recommend this service to my friends and family!

I am on my 6th order from SWAP.com. These are true American sizes. My first order I was ordering XL. I got my size adjusted and I love every item I've received. This is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I was told I was getting a full refund by 2 different swap.com assistants and instead they gave me store credit. I did not want store credit and expressed this and that's when I was told I would get a full refund. It is now 2 months later and still nothing. I have emailed about 50 times for my full refund. The customer experienced assistants are not experienced!
I ordered a Lauren skirt. They had one left. It came today. I am so delighted with it. It is exactly what I want and such a bargain and brand new.

I love that I can put in the size and I can pick out all the items for my kids in a few minutes. I can put cute outfits together for my girls and something for my little boy to play in that I don't mind if he gets dirty. The greatest idea is that I can put a box of clothes together and it will pay for my purchase for the next season of clothes that my kids grow through!

Ordered a shirt and pants. Pants weren't for me as I don't wear skinny jeans but passed them on to someone who does. The shirt was perfect and exactly as specified on the site. I would definately shop there again. A++++

I've been a customer on swap for quite some time. It can be challenging due to the low quality pictures and limited descriptions but more often than not, this led to some happy surprises when the item I bought ended up being better than expected. Everything was fine until I had to contact customer service for the first time. It took half a day and the threat of a BBB complaint to get the error corrected. Even after the correction, one of the customer service reps kept emailing me to tell me I was wrong? I literally had to tell him to leave me alone. Bizarre.

I was skeptical but decided to bite the bullet and place an order. I ordered 6 items and was very surprised when I received the order. Never ordering from Swap.com before, and it being a consignment, it was tricky to risk. Everything was clean and in great condition. I received only 1 item that I have to return. It is a skirt and it looks like it is made for a child.

Should be swindled.com... guaranteed returns is false advertising. They give you store credit and if you pay by paypal, they give you NOTHING! Complete rip off. I am going to complain to the BBB and everyone else I can think of. Save yourself the hassle and do business with a reputable company. There are plenty of them out there that do not "STEAL YOUR MONEY"

As a Multiple Super-Satisfied Customer & Reviewer to Swap.com, I sent in a box to sell. (only the 2nd box I had sent in 1.5 years). I am a retail buyer and know what clothes are really worth on Swap.com. I am a savvy, sophisticated shopper who knows what will sell. I was very unsatisfied with the way Swap.com handled the items in my box, many of which were NEW, with TAGS, Michael Kors items. I wrote an email to Swap.com specifically identifying the problem. I received an email from the CEO saying that there was little to satisfy the original problem. What should have been consigned as $190+ (conservatively), $27.16! Was given to me. First Rate ITEMS--NEW MK winter coat, NEW MK sweater, NEW MK blouse, etc. I have $ in store credit. I don't know whether it is worth it to use Swap.com again. IT is too bad that the CEO couldn't see through this situation to a satisfied customer who new may never speak well of them again. What a shame.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
