They charged me a bunch of these and then listed all my brand new item which are still on there site and selling them stole half of my order which was the same brand new item I shipped in.
I have pictures of all my brand new pieces and there all identical. My clothing store shut down so I figured I would try them and all they do is sell all my clothes and charge me surcharges and as we speak I have 1 dollar in store credit after sending them a 1000. 00 a thousand dollars in brand new clothes lmao. What a rip off and they steal and then charge you a sue charge on top of it and I have more proof!
swap.com... love the items on this site. Site is hard to navigate, When I tried to see the items I had in my shopping cart, it did not display well. There were several items I did not want in it and I did not see a way to remove them. You should make the site more user friendly. Did not see a checkout link.
I sent in a box of brand new clothes in June 2016 and have only sold 3 items. I have tried several times to get a reply about where the rest of my items are and requested that they be sent back to me. I have never received a reply answering my questions They take your items and then keep them or whatever they do with them and then do not answer your emails or phone calls.
I truly mourned the death of swaptree/swap.com. At it's heyday it was nothing short of phenomenal! I loved it! This new incarnation with the Valet Service is a joke. It's a consignment shop. The positive side is that it is a shop with an online presence (not a new thing). But the difference between it and your local consignment shop is that you have to pay shipping to get stuff to them, you can't disagree with them, if they don't like what you send you have to pay to get it back, you have to pay to have the things you buy shipped to you. You have to pay to have them store your stuff that doesn't sell or pay to get it back. Just like a consignment shop only less convenient and more expensive.
I ordered a coat in which they sent me the wrong coat. I emailed swap showing them proof of the coat I order and what they sent me. I have not heard back from swap nor received the coat I originally ordered.
I bought a sweater for a little girl and it is exactly what I needed. I had been looking for one for over a week everywhere and when I googled it this one showed up and I was so happy and the price was out of this world. It is perfect and she loves it!
I have seen the baby/kids clothes/gear/toys/, and the Men's/women's, clothing and accessories; I have to say this is the best site I have ever visited. I introduced this site to my sister and her husband and they ordered some jeans and shirts off the site. They have a 100% refund policy - which is great, because I've had to send a few things back because they didn't fit. I have had the pleasure of selling several items - didn't make as much as I had hoped, but better than nothing!
I have purchased a few times from Swap.com and I can can that I have never been disappointed in any of the items that I have purchased. My items can in excellent condition, and I have never had any issues. I will continue to order from them.
Horrible place to sell items, even worse customer service. Takes months to even get your items online, then they keep all the money and charge you fees. You give them your items and by the end they give you nothing!
I recently ordered clothes for my grandkids, when I received them I was quite shocked and happy with the quality and condition of the items, they were practically new, I was so happy with them, the shipping time was excellent, I just loved everything, this is my new store, I am actually now in the process of placing a new order, I have already told friends and family about swap. I've shopped the swap site several times in the last year and LOVE LOVE LOVE Their prices! (Except for shipping fees. Seem stupid to get a few pieces of 2nd hand clothing and have to pay shipping fees. So sign up to their site and you'll receive updates of their sales and look out for the emails that have the free shipping promo code!) If you like clothes and for garage sale prices then go check out their site! You'll find awesome deals and receive your items wonderfully packed withe each item separately bagged for it's safety!
I love buying clothes and toys from this site. Because sellers set their own prices, some finds are better than others. I have gotten some great clothes (and toys) for a fraction of the cost I would have spent if I had bought them new. There are some maternity and nursing clothes that I just couldn't see buying for full price so I could wear them for a few months. I love that I could have more non-essentials without paying a full price for them. I have been very pleased with the quality of items I have received. This will continue to be my go to site for clothes.

I have ordered over 40 items with Swap.com and if not for some items still having original tags, I couldn't tell the previously used from the brand new. I was delighted with everything I purchased. I have already placed a second and third order! I am telling everyone abut Swap.com
I have sent a box of items a few month ago. First it took them 2 months to process my box, second they rejected half of my items(including a brand new dress with the tag still on) mentioning they were damaged and had pet hair! I do not have any pet at home, and I prepared the whole box with care, washing, ironing and using a clothes bag to protect them...! I ended up donating a lot of my ietms as too costly to return, they say they will donate the amount to the charity of your choice but I never got asked about my choice of charity. Anyway, at this rate I would have rather brought the items to donate myself at my local charity shop!
I am seeing more posts that are unhappy with the selling process than the buying. I tend to agree. I have sent several boxes to swap since June & have yet to make a profit. The shipping fees & selling fees eat into any profits. The inspection process is inconsistent & I have had brand new items marked as fair condition. So far not impressed with the selling process on swap. & disappointed that I have not seen any profit since June that wasn't eaten up by shipping & fees.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
