Found this place on line, so I decided to try it, cuz I get into the free delivery! It was awesome because I not only got free shipping the first time. But the clothes I bought were in terrific shape. Great place to shop, some items even had tags on them. My husband is a pretty big guy, got all name brand jeans for him for under 7.00..
Bought a couple pair of sandals. The first set fell apart out of the box.
Both soles blew on first wear of second set while walking into church. It's like they've raided a good will box and are doubling the price.

Second order I received and was less than expected in fact disappointed. After looking closely at the items two things had stains and not just tiny ones. Also a top that had beads and shells sew on were all loose and comeing off. Had to spend one evening sewing them back on.So I guess second hand is second hand.
DO NOT send in your clothes.
I agree with what other users say.
1. They randomly selected items from my box, and there were equally valuable items among the "rejected" items.
2. They listed so many of my items wrong, including a listing of a women's dress under boy clothing
3. When I asked them to review my box, they said they will contact me in 5 business days, then didn't. When I contacted them, they sent me a long yet contentless emails (stating how they appreciate my business, but not giving any answers to my questions).
I think that they reject items on purpose, and ask for a return fee so that people would donate their clothes, and they will sell them.
I found this website from a buzzed article and was skeptical at first reading reviews and just the overall site itself. The prices were surprisingly great and almost too good to be true. As a buyer I decided to make a small order just to test it out, and it worked great. Shipped quick and item look exactly like in the picture. Made 2 more orders and both came just as good. I have not had any experience selling on this site or trying to return items so that I cannot vouch for. I use to be pleased with this company till last month. I place an order for $ 42 and some cents. To say the least, I only got two of my five items. I sent messages after asking where the rest of my items were. I never got a response back. I am totally DISAPPOINTED. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!
For my first order from swap.com, I ordered a colorful quilted backpack/purse for a very reasonable price. It arrived promptly, nicely wrapped, and in great condition, as described. I will definitely be using this site again in the future.
I recently purchased 4 dresses, all that I consider to be very good, quality brands. They arrived quickly, and appeared unworn! The best part? 4 dresses for under $40.00! I immediately placed another order. Same positive experience! I'm amazed!
I had good luck with my first few purchases. The last one... will be my last one. The description of the clothing items was wrong (in terms of fabric and style). I even went to the company websites to make sure that the tags in the photos matched the styles I was seeking. Yes, these items are used/pre-owned; but, I like a deal (though, prices on this site are pretty high and shipping runs $5 per item). Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. I got the items and immediately knew they were off. I followed the return instructions. Immediately packed them back up and shipped them off. After a week, I was notified that I got half a refund and the other half was store credit. I don't want store credit. Too bad. I'm stuck with it. So, in a nutshell: Buyer Beware. Stick with your local thrift store. If you want something brand name, try a discount store.

I found Swap.com by accident - and I'm glad I did. I've ordered from them twice so far, and every item was in like-new condition, even though the description for most was listed as "fair". I couldn't find flaws or stains on any item; after laundering, everything looked brand new! Every item was exactly what I expected, what I'd ordered. Prices are very reasonable and my order arrived in good time.
I used to love to sell on Swap. Not anymore. The fees are outrageous now and I can hardly earn any money. A year ago I could make a couple of hundred dollars a month. Now I am lucky if I make $10. Not kidding! The last box I sent in got so many rejections that I will never use them again to sell. It was like they stopped half way through the box, decided they were done working for the day and tossed them to the rejects. There were no stickers on them indicating what the issues were. It seemed like they didn't even touch them. And what are you going to do about it? There's nothing to do. You can't even see what the issues are until you get them sent back to you. Entire site seems like a total scam anymore. I quit selling and buying from them. No more. I went to Thredup instead.
I have to admit I was skeptical, as it was my first time ordering used clothing online. But I am very happy I did! The items arrived in great condition and were individually wrapped in plastic. I would have thought they were brand new! They were shipped quickly right to my mailbox. I got lots of summer clothes at a fraction of the price!
I recently gained weight from Gastroparesis and had to almost completely change my wardrobe. If it hadn't been for this site I probably would only have a few new clothes. This site is wonderful and I really enjoy shopping. The prices are excellent, shipping is quick and easy. Thank you swap.com!
Swap.com had my inbound package over 90 days and I kept getting the run around with them. I contacted their Better Business Bureau (advertised on their site!). It took another 2 weeks, but all I asked for was all of my stuff to be returned to me. I got my box back, unopened. These folks lie, cheat and steal. Don't do business with them and if you have to, go to BBB. I also contacted the IL Attorney General's Consumer Complaint division.

I am a plus sized gal, so buying clothing online is always "iffy" especially when it comes to used clothing. However, I have now ordered probably 10 times, with multiple items in each order. I have been so pleased with everything I have gotten so far. No mishaps. No incorrect sizing. Everything has been very cool. Swap is now my go-to for cheap clothing.
I made an order on a tuesday morning. I just tracked the shipping and fed x just now picked it up from the swap facility an entire week later! Seriously annoying. My order better be right. Something tells me i just screwed myself and i would have been better off buying new clothes. I feel like i totally made a mistake and just tossed 100$ out the window

Ordered and paid for pants. Did not receive item ordered: different color-different size. Contacted customer service. Ten days and no response. I am stuck with something i cannot use and out my money.
I had clothes I didn't want. I printed out a label provided by swap and sent them in. Swap handled all the processing and photo taking. Awesome!
I've bought clothes from swap, too. I didn't like one of the items upon seeing it in person. And it was ultra easy to return it to swap. Plus, buying used is inexpensive, gets you more variety and is better for the planet!
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
