I have gotten great clothes at greatly reduced prices here and the quality control and returns policy is an added security. It's like a consignment store online with a great curator assessing quality and sorting items for you. I love swap!
This has to be one of the best ideas ever. I get to buy slightly used to new clothing at a fraction of the cost. I can view from the comfort of my home and shipping has always been on time. I buy stuff on the sight almost monthly. I can't say enough good things about Swap.com. For a dad on a budget, it works out great.
As a grandma of 7, I am always searching for good deals on clothing for my babies. I have always been pleased with my purchases at swap.com. This is my favorite site to stock up on whatever we need to keep my growing herd in nice clothing at a reasonable cost. Love the free shipping and the sales.
My first and evidently my LAST order with swap.com. Ordered 4 pairs of jeans for my toddler... received email saying that they were DELIVERED, but that was a week ago and still have yet to see any jeans. Scam!
Ive bought several items off swap.com. I usually shop at thredup.com but the deals are so much better at swap. I ordered 2 pair of shoes for my son and I got a surprise with my order... they sent me a clean out bag for free... so im gonna give them a try on the selling. The only thing that makes it more difficult is thred up goes through the post office so the mailman takes my clean out bags... vs swap I have to take it to ups or drop of location. Also thred up takes about 8 days or so to deliver vs swap ships the very next business day!
I recently found this site. Having lost weight recently I needed new clothes. This site was a life saver.
They have a great selection, the clothes are like new and they deliver very fast.
The Clothes are brand name. Anything from old navy, gap, to joe's jeans, armani.
The prices are the best you can find of sites like these.
They also will take back what doesn't work or fit.
Swap has become one of my favorite sites.
For a site whose main selling point is the centralized grading of items, they do a fairly poor job of it. My first purchase of a 'good condition' item arrived incomplete, missing perhaps the most obvious items to check for. This was not mentioned in the description, and the photos provided (of the closed box) weren't nearly enough to determine that myself. As-is, what I did receive is worth the price I paid (barely), and I surely don't want to waste my life returning it to the post office, but I will likely never shop there again.
I am in love! My 5 year old has decided that only really long skirts will do. This is not the direction manufacturers are going right now, so it has been a real challenge to find any.
I checked out Swap.com, hoping to be able to guess the length of the skirts based on the photos. I COULD! All of the skirts and dresses I found and received met the length test! (yes, they all drag on the floor while she walks, so it's a real winner!) I couldn't even get my seamstress mom to make them this long. She has standards.
So thank you, Swap.com! I now have a daughter who will get dressed in the morning without crying that none of her skirts are long enough!
I am even tempted to try to find some clothes for my toddler and myself!
I do almost all of my shopping online and live in the shopping capital of the US, NYC. I'm thrilled to have found Swap.com. I've shopped on their site about seven or eight times in a short while and have been very impressed with the quality of the merchandise, the selection and the amazing prices. I've shopped from their "New w/ Tags", "Like New" and "Good" product selections and have never gotten anything I wouldn't be proud to wear. This time I had to return two items as one was the wrong item and one was too small. It was easy, free and painless. I can't say enough great things about Swap.com.
This company is terrible. My petite 10 year old daughter wears a size 8 so that is what I ordered but nothing fit and Swap refused to issue me a refund. If you ever do have to return anything to these people say that it is because it was wrongly described. They will only issue a refund if they decide its their fault you can't keep something. But they refuse to actually check if a size is correct and refuse to fix mistakes.
I used to love Swap.com but I am continuously being sent clothing that is child sized but was mislabeled as women's. I have had to consistently return items because they were listed incorrectly. Also, while I understand their reasoning for slower shipping, I don't understand why it takes me more than a month to receive my items. My orders are always stuck at "processing" for weeks before they even ship. I love their site but currently have not been as impressed and instead quite aggravated.
I do NOT recommend doing business with Swap.com. First, I sent in a box of clothes that took them over 2 months to process. Once they did post my items on their website, some of my items were missing. Realizing they were shady and that their payment structure was a rip off, I requested all my items get sent back to me. They never notified me that any of my missing items had actually been rejected and never offered me the option to get them back. By the time they realized what had happened, they had already donated my clothes. Basically, this company stole from me. I hope they go out of business so others don't get ripped off like me. STAY AWAY.
I was searching the web for decent priced maternity clothing and swap.com came up. Id never heard of it, but the clothes were decent priced and 1st order was free shipping so I thought I'd try it out. My first order was 2 pairs of pants and they were actually in better condition than I expected. I placed a second order because I was so please with my first. I'll definitely be ordering more come spring and summer.
Swap.com has always had rough edges, like their clothes being delivered smelling of a moldy warehouse, inventory issues (wrong sizes, items listed that they don't have), orders sent out after 6-8 weeks! But this is the worst experience I've had yet. ~1/5 of my order didn't even get sent, because they didn't have it, and because they used the return system to issue a partial refund for that part of my order, I could not initiate a return for items that were the wrong size. I contacted support well within the 30-day window to report this and request a return, but I still have not heard back from any of multiple emails. I looked up their support number, but it isn't even connected anymore. They have gone from good deals with bad fulfillment and service to just a miserable mess that's not worth the trouble anymore.
Update:
I will say that I have continued to use Swap on occasion after that terrible experience, but due to their new return policy (and mediocre track record) I order from them assuming that:
- I won't receive some of my order (though I will be refunded)
- Some of it just won't be the right size or will be totally not as expected (but can't return them for money or credit back)
So if I find enough items that I can get cheaply enough to feel good about keeping half those items for the same price, then I'll still order from them. I've just GREATLY tempered my expectations and mostly look for cheap necessities and the occasional standout items I'm willing to gamble on; because that's what shopping with Swap.com is at this point: a gamble
I admit, I'm addicted to this fun shopping site. You only need a few bucks to do some shopping. Opening the package from Swap.Com is a real treat. I feel good knowing I'm recycling instead of buying new stuff and yet I feel I'm getting stuff new to me. What a win all around. My clothing budget loves me again!
I have been shopping with Swap.com for a year. My granddaughter is so well-dressed. I have been pleased with every single item that I purchased. Every item was clean and almost new. What a savings! They were shipped to us within the timeframe stated. These folks know what they are doing and I tell everyone about them.

I just placed my 3rd order from them! There are some bargains and of course, some would be over-priced, especially if there are sales going on. But overall, I'm very pleased with my purchases! Not to mention they offer free returns with no questions asked (at least from my experience). It is kinda a pain for me to go out of my way to find a fedex drop box tho, but hey, its free. I'll definitely keep buying from them if I need anything.
I found a lot of really nice pieces in like new condition for very affordable prices. For what I might have paid for one nice outfit, I got 8 items. I love to be able to shop this way because it not only saves me money but it's an easy and very inexpensive way to be earth-friendly. It's a win-win!
I sent them a lot of maternity clothes(used like new), kid clothes, and toys. I have to say that most of them are nearly in excellent condition and ok brand like GAP baby-kid. My daughter wore them just a few times some of them never worn but no tag. I stuff them in one box. Weight over 70 lbs and guess what.? Most of them. 3/4 of my items were lost.
They listed some of my stuff at the beginning and I was told that. There will be more lists on the web site... but it never. I tried to contact them few time asking about the rest of my stuff. Finally, the third time they replied me. And said they would locate them and in the next day. I got another email. Said. They lost them but they would give me $50 instead for lost items. OMG! That's box was super big. It was over 70 lbs. all of them are in the same box. How could that be. That you lost some and can list some? I was so very disappointed with this website. No more business with them. Never and ever again.

I love this site. I have only place one order from them and plan on placing more. I was able to get my son (who was 3 at the time) his entire wardrobe for under 70 dollars. Most of the items were sets, which really gave me my money's worth. I ended up with all of the popular clothing brands and received them in such a great amount of time. They were all individually wrapped and if I wasn't paying attention, would have thought that I had ordered them new. I have yet to sell, but am waiting on my bag at the moment, so I will update on that. This is the only site I go to for my children's clothing now.

Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.

Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
