Swap allows you to buy and sell gently used clothes and toys. I have ordered stuff from them plenty of times and have had great success. I have had hassle free returns and the clothes are in great shape. I am also a seller. You can make pretty good money selling your gently used stuff minus the fees. I am so happy the started accepting men's used clothes. It's a great online consignment, check it out.
I've been with Swap since they were Netcycler. I buy and sell on Swap with a great degree of regularity. When I ship items, they usually start appearing online for me to price within 48 hours. They're incredibly fast! Almost every time there's a free shipping code for buying, I make a purchase. And they have sales from time to time. I recommend Swap to everyone looking to buy or sell kids' stuff. Now they have women's clothing, too. I'm just waiting for them to add purses and bags to the women's selections, and I'd love to see men's clothing on the site.
I think the prices are fine, the items are okay (though it's really hard to understand from their limited descriptions the sizes or actual colors of the items), but the shipping... it takes FOREVER to get things and even longer if you have to return something. I've ordered twice and each time it's taken well over a week to receive. Returning took 2 weeks from the time I sent to the time I received a store credit to use. It's just not worth it when there are so many other options out there for online thrifting.
I used to shop on this website all the time... The clothes were pretty much all priced under $10 bucks and you could find a 30 - 50% off coupon with free shipping that worked easily. The return process was easy as well. The last few purchases were horrible, they were marked good condition but when I got them they looked like they had been through the washer 1,000x, one item smelled like smoke so bad, that it made all the other clothes stink. Not only that their prices have gotten RIDICULOUS, I've seen items for sale that are more expensive than what they were in the department store and these are USED items. And lastly their coupons just plain SUCK. If and I mean if I can find a coupon that works, it tells me that the items in my cart are not apart of that particular coupon. They only seem to have good coupons for new customers only. What about your loyal customers? I even referred a friend and I never got the $20 store credit... I just go to my local thrift store now.
Used to be a good honest company when started but now is going south. From customer service, returns, coupon codes, etc...
Costumer service was great, now they get attitude with you, returns used to be smooth, now they give you store credit without asking you first (not right)had to dispute my purchase through PayPal, I won and they give me back more than I asked for (the entire purchase) I was surprised when they escalated the dispute, they thought they would win but it was the opposite. Coupon codes used to work 100% on everything, now they only work by categories or for new customers only, even though on some items still won't give you discount after applying coupon codes. Which that was the reason I used to buy in this website, for the coupons! No worth it anymore, very poor management, I will not be surprised if this company goes out of business. I'm talking only as a buyer, but I can imagine how unfairly sellers are being treated. So disappointed

If you expect to ever receive your order, then I would find a different place to shop. I placed an order on 12/8/2021, during checkout there was a message saying, shipping is taking longer than normal. So, to expect upto 5 extra business days for them to process your order. Today I checked the progress of my order, they are just now packing orders from 11/25/2021. If I had known, I would be waiting a month or so for my order, I would have never placed it. It is not my fault; they cannot keep enough employees to keep the place running. I have sent two email requests, neither have been answered. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get someone, gave up after an hour waiting. Now I have filed a complaint with the BBB, I recommend everyone do that.
I had ordered from them in the past a few times, everything went great. Guess they expanded too quick and now the customers are paying for it!
I recently purchased two dresses from Swap.com. I didn't know what to expect. But was excited still. When I received my items, opened the packages and saw the dresses... I was so impressed! They were in the best condition! Totally exceeded my expectations! I will be ordering again! Thank you so much!
Swap is horrible. Most of my items have sold yet my amount sent to pay pal is 0 dollars because of all these hidden fees. Basically, I just sent them a bunch of clothes to sell and make money off of me for free. I got nothing out of it! DON'T SELL!
I sent in a large box of baby clothes and items. They accepted less than 10 of the items. Several of the items they accepted were new in package but they marked them as merely good condition. I contacted them asking them to correct their error, I was informed that they would, but no corrections were ever made. I'm convinced they make their money charging sellers ridiculous fees.
I've never tried buying from swap, but after my selling experience I'm not going to take the chance. They already have enough of my money and my items.

I have been selling on this site for several years. When I first started, I loved it. But they have increased their selling fees to a point where the Seller is left with very little profit. And buyers are no longer able to get quality clothing at the discounts they advertise because the Sellers have to increase prices in order to make any money. I have decidded I'd rather donate my clothes than help this company make money at my expense.
I love Swap.com soooo much. I started with this site to buy clothes for my son and when they added women's clothing I was sceptical. The prices were so good I decided to try a couple of items. The things were like new and super cute. Pricing is amazing for what you get. The site shows pics of the actual items and you can sort out things that are categorized as "fair condition". Extremely large inventory!
I was online seeking consignment shops in the area and came across swap.com. This is the first time ordering from them, and let me tell you... I couldn't be happier! I ordered 59 items... shirts, dresses, skirts for my girls... tshirts and button downs for my son... and a bunch of board games for about $340. That's less than $6 per item... can you say AMAZING? And the shipping was super fast. I submitted my order 4 days ago which was a Saturday(night), and I just received my package containing all 59 items this afternoon(Wednesday). The board games are in perfect condition. The denim skirts, dresses, shirts for all three of my kids look as if they were never used. Definitely two thumbs up for swap.com. I am so pleased, I am already filling up another shopping cart
I placed an order 15 days ago. I've repeatedly contacted customer service by email asking them why my order is still processing. I was advised they are behind. 15days? Today they tell me it was delivered and it wasn't. I've been trying to get a refund and they just give me the run around. Don't buy here.
I was a little skeptical when I made my first order BUT after I received it I was very impressed! Fast shipping and the quality of the items was impressive! Very reasonable prices for really great stuff! I order from swap.com at least once a month and have spread the word to friends and family. I have ordered toys, books, DVD's, and clothes and have yet to be unsatisfied! Very pleased with this website!
Hello everyone. I posted a review about swap.com some time ago. It wasn't very good but my experience had been really bad with them. But now they seem to have gotten on the ball. After they FINALLY got my items up, they sold pretty fast. I sent some more items and this time they were honest and told me it would be a while before they reviewed them, which was all good with me I just needed to know what was going on. So I'm back to say that swap.com is a good place to sell but mostly to shop. Lol
Very happy with my experience as a BUYER at Swap.com. The items arrived quickly, well packaged and exactly as described. Soon I will have enough things gathered together for sending them to sell for me, and am looking forward to a great experience as a SELLER as well.

This isn't a place to make fair money if you are selling your items. The shipping fees and selling fees knock down any profit, and the selection process is arbitrary and unpredictable. I've sent in new items and they mark the condition as fair. They've also lost my items I've sent in, and I have yet to have any emails returned from their customer service. Go local - this isn't worth your time or the stress.
I just love this site. I have already placed 3 orders and getting ready to place another. I'm also happy to have found a site to be able to sell some of the items that I have (clothes new, only wore once, games my children either have out grown or just never played and some household items). I really wish I lived closer to them because I would love to also work for this company.
I love this site so much i bought some beautiful clothes and were exactly what i ordered, and of course my Guardian of the Galaxy goodies. Have told my sister who is now ordering from you all, and other family members as well, we all call each other to see what the others have ordered. It is affordable but most of all was fast and I have and will keep spreading the word about this site.

Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
