Have been using Summit Racing equipment for years, they used to be a customer service oriented outfit, always went out of their way to make sure customer was satisfied. Over the years have bought close to $100K in parts from them. Recently they just don't care, expect to be on hold with customer service for hours. I purchased a $2K air conditioning system from them and they got the parts wrong, not a big deal it was a complicated setup, but getting them to fix it was a 2 hour ordeal, and they made me feel that it was my fault for ordering it from them and charged me additional shipping. You can tell the employees don't care anymore and that is a sign of poor management. Going to drastically scale back on my business with them, have been using JEGS and ClassicIndustries more often now.
Ordered a tire inflator which doesn't work, apparently when you return an item you are responsible for the cost of shipping. Tried to get through to customer service with no success, then tried to sign in to my account online to address the issue... Also with no success. Horrible!
After receiving the wrong radiator and still not having the correct one, I got a refund from LM Performance. It was not LM's fault but they drop ship from Max Performance, the Cold Case manufacturer. I then ordered a Cold Case radiator from Summit Racing. They had it in stock and I received it in two days. There is something to be said for a retailer that has the products you are looking for in inventory.
Core Return. Here I thought that I was getting a reasonable deal buying my BCM through Summit but when it is all done I paid more than if I would have bought it locally. The gentleman on the phone who sold it to me that I would be getting a return shipping label for returning my core, but what he failed to tell me was that the cost of the label would be deducted from my core charge value. That is a total BS statement. In short just stay away for this place. I should have read the reviews before I ordered so be smarter than me and read the review and RUN.
I have bought from Summit Racing for years they have gone to hell. Customer service is horrible Brock is a $#*! no fax machine. Note while talking to customer service they want all information as all dumb $#*! retailers. This country has gone to hell from sorry government send the SOBS back Taiwan OER junk never correct always a problem not fitting correctly. Note delivered wrong parts to different address from that $#*!ing UPS another sorry company as well as Federal Express broken windshields from UPS as well As Federal Express. Customer service a hold they don't care they use to be good for now all mail order scams. They will always have problems retail world sucks dummys at all store especially Walmart. Horrible Customer Service By Summit Racing!
I have purchased three of the K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake system from Summit Racing. When I called Summit Racing about the tube having a manufactures defect, I was told that I didn't know what I was doing, He then put me on hold, to come back and tell me that the air flow sensor can be installed upside down. I explained that it can't be upside down and that the flange was welded upside down, and that I need a replacement. NOPE! That is what I was told. Call K&N and they will explain to you that that it can be upside down... I called K&N 3 days later (I'm busy), the K&N representative instantly knew what I was talking about, asked if I had the K&N box that was delivered, I said yes, he asked for me to read him some of the manufactures details from that box, and he said, we will send you a replacement tube, should arrive in 7-10 days... No worries about the shipping time, I appreciate the quality customer service and respectful manner in which this representative handled the situation. Summit Racing will sell you the same thing that you can purchase elsewhere, and will not help you past that point. They take your money, send you whatever, and then you are on your own from there... I will not buy from them again.
I use a Moroso Vacuum system, and some where misplaced my shim pack. Talking with the sales rep. I was put on hold. The sales rep soon returned with the news that Moroso doesn't sell the shims. BUT, some one that my sales rep talked with while on hold said he had some and would send me what I was looking for. Now if that is not going the extra mile, I must be missing something. Ordered $80 in 67 Camaro rocker moldings plus $20 for oversized shipping. Might as well shipped it in a paper bags. Came all bent with no special labeling. Ended up getting refund but they tried keeping my shipping cost saying I ordered a can of paint with it. Told them the can wasn't oversized was it? They ended up refunded me that too but ridiculous his they shipped them.
I ordered some simple items, locking lug nuts and windshield wipers. Both items were indicated to fit my vehicle on the website but neither did. I will not be purchasing from Summit Racing again.
I ordered a gas lid cover for my 2008 trailblazzer. They claimed 3 to 5 days to ship, it, s now week 3? Comming up on 21 days, i could have driven there & back 100 times, very disapointed, will not ever order again, and i suggest you dont etheir, if u want you part that u need in a timely manner
I paid $160 for a high performance alternator for my 1969 Ford Galaxie 500. The 140 Amp barely lasted 2 yrs., and this is for a car that is driven less than 500 miles a year. When I discussed this with Summit's customer service, they said that there is nothing they could do for me as the warranty is only for 1 year. They wouldn't even honor me as a return customer and offer me a discount on a new alternator. Wow, this says a lot about how much (or little) they value me as a customer, especially when one of their products underperforms.
As such, I would not do any further business with Summit and will choose to give my $ to a company that actually values me as a customer.

I ordered a front sway bar and fuel sending unit for my 66 Belvedere. Sending unit came and was not like the original, the one they sent had a return line I needed to figure out how to plug. I called and they said it was the right one and just plug the return. Also, my car has a 5/16" fuel line and the one they sent was 3/8". I contacted the manufacturer of the $60 sender and they had no reference to that particular number, they said it was probably a specific unit made for Summit. I will try to install it but told Summit my concern was if the sending unit was going to be accurate in m car. Second item I ordered was a ADDCO sway bar. Before i ordered it i did some research with ADDCO and found out it was a 15/16" rod when Summit advertised a 1 1/16". I called Summit and they told me if ADDCO says it is 15/16" then it is what they said and Summit catalog is wrong. Part came in a box that looked like something someone made in their garage out of used cardboard, and when i opened it the bar was scratched up like it was installed before. When installing, the ends were not aligned with the dropdown rods (the ends were twisted)? And they were not the same angle on either side. I do not send things back and got the bar to work. But for the money spent it was interesting. I am very dissatisfied with Summit, i have used them in the past with no issues but this was different.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE IDIOTS AT SUMMIT! I put in a order, simple just a few parts, it just was a little over 100 bucks to get free shipping. They took 4 days to send I email saying they need to verify my card! All info and addresses were filled out on website. I never had a company have to verify my info! So I cancelled it cause they didn't ship out yet! TRUST ME IT WILL BE WELL OVER 2 WEEKS THAT THEY STILL WONT HAVE RETURNED MY MONEY! CAUSE ITS BEEN 10 DAYS AND NOTHING, THEN IT TAKES A COUPLE FOR MY BANK TO CLEAR IT BACK! SCREW THESE MORONS! YOU NEED TO STEAL MY MONEY AND MAKE INTEREST OFF IT SINCE YOU HAVE TO RETURN MY MONEY! Place the order over the phone, the next day i called asking about shipping details, to be told the order was not placed. Tried to place the order over the phone and gave up after 45mins, called back was able to place the order after some sarcastic remarks from the seller. Order was place on Wednesday the radiator fan was delivered Saturday and Monday I'm still waiting on the relays. I would not recommend Summet Racing for part the service is crap. If summent would like to call me look up my email address and phone number on order # *******
I ordered part for a 1987 blazer and I should have got free shipping but I didn't. Do I asked them to cancel my order and theh didn't now I wont get my refund and am pissed Never going here for any type of parts again. The coustmer servis team argues with you and dose not listen what you are saying and dosen't want to do anything about it.
Whatever you do do not order from this company if you are on the African continent I lost $169 in shipping costs because of them and their parnetered shipping company UPS i Parcel.
Everyone you try contact just washes their hands of the issue and basically say "tough s$#%"
If you a product delivered in a reasonable time avoid Summit Racing. They lie to you over the phone about a "delivery date". On 9/5/17 I check email and I get a notice that the 4 Michellen Defender Tires I order around 7/15/17 we still out of stock. Really upset I cancelled the tires and I get immediate service and tires from Discount Tires. Avoid Summit Racing they are incompetent and they lie to you,
Called to order a motor mount. They sent the wrong one. I sent it back and had to buy the correct one somewhere else. $13 was taken out of the money they returned. When I called to ask why I did not receive the full amount I paid, I was told I was charged a restocking fee. I asked why I have to pay a restocking fee for THERE MISTAKE, I was told it doesn't matter, I still have to pay a restocking fee. I should NOT be charged for their mistake.

Answer: I bought a creeper from them and they seem legit. I received the creeper, contacted support as creeper was defective and received a new creeper from them.
Answer: Compared to a lot of the other places I called Southwest, pertronix, and a handful of others, Summit performance parts was the only ones that answered and I was connected very short. Of time very happy with the phone option to speak to someone very knowledgeable as well.
