Poor service and return Had them look up an oil pan for my gen IV big block and they sent me the wrong one got to the point where I was going to put the oil pan on it was the wrong one and they will not take it back I just wanted to exchange it

Might have to tweak the colors. (pearls) lime green is Yellow.
Ask for refund on the green tint. Expand the lime green Toyota to see the tint green.

Scam artist
January 27, 2022

Ordered a part online. Realized it was the wrong part with a few minutes. Tried to cancel it online wouldn't allow me. Called the customer service department and she said no problem order is canceled be back on my card in 4 to 5 days... 12 hours later 11:59 pm I get an email from summit racing saying my part has shipped overnight shipping be here tomorrow. Called customer service its midnight they are closed. Robot system says parts shipped can not cancel 30% restocking fee and I have to pay shipping back to summit...

The worst company I've ever had to deal with. Not only did they send the wrong part they tried to say they never received the part I had to send back. When they realized I had the tracking and told them even what time they receive it back after that they sent email saying 104.00 would go back on my card not the 117.00 I paid them. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Never ever trust this company. Over priced and very dishonest. Fair warning folks!

Ordered an ISF xforce exhaust fast shipping!

They had the best deal online for a cat back xforce exhaust for my ISF. It's basically the only option for the ISF as the Japanese branded ones are a ridiculous in price. It's a Joey Z exhaust pretty much for 500 or so dollars less. Was weary to order from them because of the bad reviews on here. Gave them a call and spoke to someone within 2 minutes of waiting and they said the item was in stock. They said the item would be here Monday. I actually for the item here today and boy is it beautiful. I can't wait to install this cat back exhaust soon. Summit racing has met and also exceeded my expectations as a business. I will definitely be back to shop for other parts for my other cars. I encourage anyone before they shop at this place, give them a call to see if the item is in stock.

The warranty company that they use to warrant there engine make you go to diagnost that will cost you more than 1000 dollars without telling that you will have to pay for the diagnost at the end.
They want to pay a rate of 40 dollars for a mechanic
The amount in florida for any kind of boat mechanic
Is between 100 To 150 an hour
At the end they sent me a new block after 30 mechanics working at 2 different boat repair shops
Said engine has some sticking pistons.
I had to pay my mechanic twice 2600 dollars
To put my block togheter with the parts from older
Engine and also to take the parts of of the damage engine and when they sent a new one they had to assemble together
I want everybody to laugh when you hear that
They only pay 800 dollars
Don't buy anything from them because they don't back there product
I believe that they buy it cheap to sell it high
But think twice to buy anything from them
I talk to zack and he did not want to get involved
Only telling me that warranty is on the engine

Discount Lies

I used the message version of the "contact" area of the site, asking if they offered discounts for front-line health care workers. I received a message stating if I called their order line they would give me the same discount they offer to the military. I called the number right away where they denied sending the message and refused to offer me any type of discount, or even an apology. I sent screenshots of the message and never received a reply. If they would have just said no to my initial question, I wouldn't have been upset. Buy to say yes and then have the manager refuse ANYTHING is the epitome of poor customer service. I went through with the order as the part was tops on my son's Christmas list, but never again.

Place the order over the phone, the next day i called asking about shipping details, to be told the order was not placed. Tried to place the order over the phone and gave up after 45mins, called back was able to place the order after some sarcastic remarks from the seller. Order was place on Wednesday the radiator fan was delivered Saturday and Monday I'm still waiting on the relays. I would not recommend Summet Racing for part the service is crap. If summent would like to call me look up my email address and phone number on order # *******

Purchased some merged collectors and viewed the photos which were 4 into one. In fine print they have 3 into one. I purchased the items on the photo advertising the product and tried to cancel the order before it was shipped. They said the complaint would be responded to in 4 days but after chasing them up they responded in 8 days. The response was nothing about my complaint and in follow up contact they still have not addressed my complaint. It is like advertising a photo of a new Corvette and getting a Toyota. Terrible service, do not go off photos and judging by the complaints I have viewed the simply don't care.

Extremely slow shipping

It took 2.5 weeks AFTER they called me saying "sorry it's already been 2 weeks, we don't have what you ordered". Then they sent the wrong part and never refunded the shipping or price difference like promised will not be using them again

Called to order a motor mount. They sent the wrong one. I sent it back and had to buy the correct one somewhere else. $13 was taken out of the money they returned. When I called to ask why I did not receive the full amount I paid, I was told I was charged a restocking fee. I asked why I have to pay a restocking fee for THERE MISTAKE, I was told it doesn't matter, I still have to pay a restocking fee. I should NOT be charged for their mistake.

I've been a loyal Summit customer since the early 90's. Over the years my purchases have varied tremendously and for the most part I've been very satisfied with things. Here recently it seems the company has remained relatively stagnant when it comes to expanding parts availability. They look as though their trying to emulate some of Amazon's more deceptive listing practices (placing an item on a search result, even though it's not coming directly from Amazon). I understand that it's not feasible for a company to stock every possible part from every vendor, but more and more it seems like a large portion of the items on the Summit site are "sent directly from vendor" but are listed on the Summit site. My contention is that if you don't have it, why do you even offer it? Sure you offer a lower price than if I get it directly from the manufacturer, but you have no clue on its availability and make shipping "promises" that Summit has no control over. Bottom line, don't put it on the website as something you sell unless you have directly control over selling it@

First and last time!

Ordered a tire inflator which doesn't work, apparently when you return an item you are responsible for the cost of shipping. Tried to get through to customer service with no success, then tried to sign in to my account online to address the issue... Also with no success. Horrible!

Absolutely horrible experience

I got a Tremec Transmission from them and the input shaft died in 400 miles. They sent me a new one without a box. It was on a pallet and not even strapped down. I mean are you kidding me me? Don't walk run from these idiots.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE IDIOTS AT SUMMIT! I put in a order, simple just a few parts, it just was a little over 100 bucks to get free shipping. They took 4 days to send I email saying they need to verify my card! All info and addresses were filled out on website. I never had a company have to verify my info! So I cancelled it cause they didn't ship out yet! TRUST ME IT WILL BE WELL OVER 2 WEEKS THAT THEY STILL WONT HAVE RETURNED MY MONEY! CAUSE ITS BEEN 10 DAYS AND NOTHING, THEN IT TAKES A COUPLE FOR MY BANK TO CLEAR IT BACK! SCREW THESE MORONS! YOU NEED TO STEAL MY MONEY AND MAKE INTEREST OFF IT SINCE YOU HAVE TO RETURN MY MONEY! YOU TOOK SAME DAY! LOOK AT PICS OF PROOF! Still nothing in my bank from them yet!

Horrible Customer Service
October 4, 2021

Ordered parts 6 months ago, 6 months goes by, I cancel my order and ask for a refund, and proceeded to purchase gears from another seller. They say "no, they JUST shipped, you will have them in a couple days," so after that, I cancel my other orders from the other places expecting the one from summit to arrive any day. Then today I get a refund from summit. No parts. My truck has been down, and losing money for six months, and Summit has provided terrible customer support. I get it, COVID messes up shipping, but this is BY FAR the worst experience I've had with a parts company. 100% wasted time. Do not recommend.
