Ordered a roll bar a few weeks ago. While the item did arrive from their warehouse in more or less the said time, Summit added a hidden $40 shipping charge. Consequently they defrauded the part invoice by showing the purchase price+tax and a total $40 above that. The numbers didn't add up, and when I brought up the issue with them several times the "rep" said there was no record of it and they couldn't break out the invoice to show where the number came from. Essentially fraud.
Purchased 4 items, all received within the acceptable time limit, no issues with the purchase what so ever, thumbs up from me, will return if need more equipment.
I ORDERED AN EXHAUST & ITS BEEN SAYING READY TO SHIP FOR THE LONGEST, THEY TOOK MY MONEY ALREADY & KEEP PUTTING IT OFF SAYING OH ITS A RANDOM SECURTY CHECK, RUDE $#*! ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESNT MAKE IT ANY BETTER. NEVER AGAIN
Paid for the 2 day air shipping and didn't come for 5 days. I called and they said sorry and that's all they could do and if that I couldn't have my upgrade fees even though it took longer than standard ground shipping would have. Waste of money
Core Return. Here I thought that I was getting a reasonable deal buying my BCM through Summit but when it is all done I paid more than if I would have bought it locally. The gentleman on the phone who sold it to me that I would be getting a return shipping label for returning my core, but what he failed to tell me was that the cost of the label would be deducted from my core charge value. That is a total BS statement. In short just stay away for this place. I should have read the reviews before I ordered so be smarter than me and read the review and RUN.
For years I did ALL of my purchasing for my passenger vehicles and my race track cars without doubting their staff, items and honesty. They would always be prompt with their responses to my questions, prompt shipping and when its states "in stock" it was in stock... But now I can no longer trust them with any of my purchases...
Sorry, but you lost a long and dedicated purchaser...
Gave a 4 star review to a product, part of the comment of which was the great price. My review gets posted and the price immediately went up 35%! Is this a coincidental price increase from the (US) manufacturer to Summit, or do positive reviews incline them to raise the price on an item?
Also, their international shipping costs are too high and their invoicing on international orders is unclear- no breakdown of the shipping/handling/duty charges on the invoice, and equivalent size/weight packages from other US suppliers the shipping cost is less than half the amount Summit charges- using the same courier (Fedex) and level of service (ground).
Generally, except for the shipping charges, my experiences with Summit have been good, but the odd price jump immediately after I did a positive review on the product is disturbing and they need to work out a more economical shipping program with Fedex. As such, for the purposes of this last experience is lower than I might have otherwise given them, generally speaking.

Ordered $1700 worth of stuff a month ago. Shipping seems to have halted and will not update any further. Got onto customer service only to be told it's not their problem. I'm sitting in Australia so I expect about a week and a half for delivery but no over a month now and still no parcel or parts. Refuse to rectify the issue. Did not want to be held accountable for taking a week just to begin sending my parts. But no that's ok just take my money straight away and treat me like crap as soon as you get your theiving hands on it.
Have emailed several times and been ignored, done the live chat and honestly the Chinese can respond in far better English than these people. Useless, pathetic and down right scamming mongrels.

Whatever you do do not order from this company if you are on the African continent I lost $169 in shipping costs because of them and their parnetered shipping company UPS i Parcel.
Everyone you try contact just washes their hands of the issue and basically say "tough s$#%"
I ordered a part to pick up today and they didn't tell me they where closing early. So I drove 2 hours and a half to find out they close early. Talk with customer service on the phone for them to tell me. They can't change nothing but give me free shipping. When it's already free for order over $99. Never again will I do business with a $#*! up place like this again.
Bought a new exhaust system from them. It was defective in manufacture. They won't even suggest my returning it. In fact, their suggestion: "Sell it locally." Now they have my money and have their defective exhaust.
Don't do business with these guys! They are thieves!
I ordered a pair of replacement upper door trims for my 87 Vette on 1/23/19. I was told prior to my purchase that the product wouldn't ship until 2/8/19. Well 2/8/19 came and went with NO COMMUNICATION or notification from Summit. I had to call them on 2/14/19 just to find out that the product I ordered is on back order until the second week in March. Unacceptable customer service. I'm currently awaiting a full refund and I don't plan on ever ordering from Summit again.

Im from canada and have built several high performance cars, all have shipped in a timely manner. Summit says part in stock if ordered now will be shipped today.im at 3 weeks waiting for the order with 4 parts, iv emailed several times and zero response. I guess because my order was only $300 dollars they dont care. Funny thing is iv spent 20k in parts on my last build, my vehicle is stuck in the driveway now for 3 weeks iv been walking to work... i estimate on spending around 10k more on this build, not from summit.do yourself a favour and otder elsewhere, they dont value the little guys
Gift card. States 1-2 hour response... NOT! Three days later I have a message to confirm shipping address. Clearly on invoice already. No one answers phone so you have to leave message. Leave a message confirming. Nothing. Call three more times... leave a message. Finally get ahold of them from work. Sorry... you have to confirm from listed phone "because you are shipping to another state. Can't confirm this on another phone."By now birthday is long gone. Finally found message left on their phone and sent. NEVER AGAIN!

Delayed my order kept delaying expected ship date even though they took my money day one. In the end never shipped anything, still waiting for refund. Wasted time, spend a little more and avoid frustration, sometimes lowest price = lowest service...

I use a Moroso Vacuum system, and some where misplaced my shim pack. Talking with the sales rep. I was put on hold. The sales rep soon returned with the news that Moroso doesn't sell the shims. BUT, some one that my sales rep talked with while on hold said he had some and would send me what I was looking for. Now if that is not going the extra mile, I must be missing something. I live in Australia and wanted a PA2 weather station for our drag racing car. First of all the courier they used did not keep us informed that the item had been held overseas. The item arrived and did not work. I spoke to them for about an hour and got nowhere with them, they are just hopeless with their customer service. Its the same old company line over and over again, they have no idea about the products they sell. They would not be allowed to get away this in Australia, the customer has rights. I have now had to send the item back and hope they get their fingers out and issue the refund quickly as i need to get another one.
I said;
3 out of 4 tires received had the white letters damaged (scuffed) on them do to the way you taped them together with nothing in between the tires. The white letters look terrible.
They said it was my fault
I apologize once the tires can not be returned as new and unused. I can not warranty them because it is clear from your pictures that the tires have been cleaned. The coating over the letters is meant to wear off. Harsh cleaning with brush and chemicals will remove the white off the tire. I suggest getting a tire letter marker such as SLC-T19
I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. ALSO DISPUTING WITH CC COMP.
If you a product delivered in a reasonable time avoid Summit Racing. They lie to you over the phone about a "delivery date". On 9/5/17 I check email and I get a notice that the 4 Michellen Defender Tires I order around 7/15/17 we still out of stock. Really upset I cancelled the tires and I get immediate service and tires from Discount Tires. Avoid Summit Racing they are incompetent and they lie to you,
Answer: I bought a creeper from them and they seem legit. I received the creeper, contacted support as creeper was defective and received a new creeper from them.
Answer: Compared to a lot of the other places I called Southwest, pertronix, and a handful of others, Summit performance parts was the only ones that answered and I was connected very short. Of time very happy with the phone option to speak to someone very knowledgeable as well.
