These people attached themselves to my credit card. Don't know how. I didn't sign up for anything.

I think they're counting on people not paying close attention to their checking accounts. I was able to get my bank to cancel six months worth of fraudulent transactions

I don't know how they got my credit card and charged $19/month for many months in 2022. I called *******557 and they refunded one month, but pocketed the other $190.
Why does BBB not acting to stop these crooks.

There's a number you can call to reverse any money they steal from your account. They took $22 from mine after I bought movie tickets online, they piggybacked off that purchase to get my account info. Disgraceful.

No idea how they got my details. I'm wondering if it happened through fb or temu. They charged me $19 for a membership. I called their # and spoke to an Indian reading a script, asking over and over to keep my membership. Eventually she canceled whatever membership and claims to have given me a refund.

I SIGNED UP FOR THIS SERVICE BUT WAS UNAWARE THAT IT IS A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. I WENT ON THEIR SITE AND IT SAID i COULD CANCEL VIA TEXT MESSAGE OR BY FOLLOWING A LINK IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. WHEN i TEXTED, THEY REPLIED "THE KEYWORD YOU SPECIFIED WAS NOT RECOGNIZED". I TRIED 3 MORE TIMES AND EACH OF THOSE ATTEMPTS WAS REPLIED WITH "NOT DELIVERED". WHEN I TRIED THE LINK IN THEIR SITE IT DIDN'T WORK EITHER. THEN I SEARCHED FOR AND FOUND THEIR PHONE NUMBER. AND WAS ABLE TO CANCEL VIA PHONE. I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE QUIT TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT. CERTAINLY NOT MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ONLINE SITES, BUT THEIR ONLINE INFORMATION SHOULD BE CORRECT.

I bought movie tickets and was directed to Smarty to get $15 back on my purchase. Well a week later I got a message from my bank for a fraudulent purchase of $19 to Smarty. Wish I had researched the company beforehand!

I believe this happened because my bank account is attached to my messenger and then I inadvertently touched their ad on Facebook. That is a problem Facebook needs to address. But they gave my money back all I had to do was call and they were very nice about it *******810).

I don't even know how I signed up for it. They charge me a total of $38 over 2 months. Superhard to track them down to cancel. I had to go through different reviews and I was able to get a phone number from there. The only refunded me $19 not the full

I was buying a ticket to a movie online and I got a pop-up for $15 cash back. I inputted my info but the process took way too long so I exited out of the tab, thinking that since I didn't finish the process all my progress and data would be deleted. They charged me $3 that day and $19 within the next two weeks even though the site never once mentioned that I would have to pay for their services. I didn't even put in my debit card info and they managed to leech me of my money. I also tried canceling my subscription but there are no definitive ways to do so on their website. I tried deleting my account but I am still able to log in, giving me the impression that I am still subscribed. If someone knows how to unsubscribe from this scam please tell me. Advice: never sign up for anything without doing extensive research on it.

Once they have your information it is impossible to get out, I cancelled this subscription on 3/15/2023 and after monthly reminders of cancellation still being charged (7/17/2023). It is my only recourse to contact my
State Attorney General Office to report it.

I never signed up for this and they have been charging me since October of 2022! I don't even know what it is! Super upset that companies get your info and feel free to take the initiative to sign you up for their service. NO WAY did I ask for this $19.00 a month! No way I did this.

An add popped up and I declined it. Found out in later months I have been being charged a total of $79 dollars. I called up, the man I spoke to was very dismissive and tried to tell me that there was no money being purchased and once I told him that I had screenshots and a total of $79 missing that went into this "compony" he found it. He said that he'd refund the money and cancel my "subscription" and once I asked him his name he said it and hung up on me. Very rude. They know it's a scam and when they are faced with proof they run away. I will be calling back if I don't see money back in my account in a few days!

I used a only account to buy anything online only put t money into wn needed smartycach back took £ 3.00 £5.00 I had in the account then tried to take £19 I cancelled my card got a new card since then they have tried 3 times to take the payment which they are unable to do as the card had expired because I've got a new card it's is a total scam

Bought 2 shirts off of a website and was taken to Smartycashback, read through their offer and declined, did not sign up for anything. Have since been charged $22, and can't cancel my account as I didnt create one. Beyond pissed and will be canceling my credit card. Will be contesting the charges with my bank.
I would avoid making any purchases from vendors who link to this site. These recurring charges are straight up theft.

Bought ticket to a New Years Day event through a questionable company, Ticket-Center.com. Next thing we know our credit card is being charged $3.00 and then $19.00 from SmartyCashBack.com. We never gave Smarty our card number. They had to have gotten the number from some other company. Our credit card company caught the charges, and is reissuing us a new credit card

Today I got £19 debited from my account by smartycashback.com. I didn't remember what it was, but remembered when talking to bank fraud team. What happened was when I was on a website smartycashback.com popped up like it was part of the website and it would be easy to get cashback, so I filled out what I needed to on there site, but either getting cashback wasn't straightforward or something else didn't seem right, so I didn't bother with it or look into it again. So now, how many months later I find they took out £19 from my account, which is more than people in the U.S. when you take the conversion into account. Why I have to put a rating in for them, I don't know. Crooks!

I shopped for movie tickets on plumbenefits.com. When I completed that purchase, I got a notification that I was eligible for a $10 credit. When I clicked on that info, it said it was a paid membership and requested my credit card information. I did *not* provide my credit card information and backed out because I was not interested in paying for a membership. Today I found a $3 charge on my card. I called customer service and they said I was charged $3 for a trial membership. I'm not sure how they got my card info in the first place, so my next call will be to plumbenefits.com. Fortunately, customer service was kind and canceled the "trial" and refunded my money, but I would have never known that I was paying for a membership I'll never use if I hadn't reviewed my transactions. This is incredibly shady and not ok.

Wits a subscription based service that offers what you can get for free. Getting the cash back is lengthy, difficult and laborious. It's a complete scam. Their store selection is also crap. Avoid
