I had a wonderful experience with this company. The shipping wasn't too long - I think it was about 2 weeks. Customer service (through email) helped me when I needed to make a change to my glasses. & price was low! I would def buy from them again
Interesting tactics they have. I'm sorry I didn't search the company before placing my order over four weeks ago. The glasses have been paid, but no sign of them as of yet. 5 to 11 days delivery, my a$$.
I am rating the service with 2 stars because I'm still hoping to receive the sunnies.
This company should really put an effort if they want to be as reliable as they claim to be in their numerous promising emails.
Until I receive the glasses I ordered I give them a 1. I was told on more than one occasion that they were on back order and at other times they were in process. I ordered them on Dec 2 and still don't have them on Feb 22. I received an email telling me that they were being processed in the lens lab on Feb 10 and it said they would ship in 5-7 days. Still nothing. I would think twice about ordering from them again.
I finally received my glasses on March 2. They look to be authentic with paperwork, box, case etc. The lenses are as ordered and they fit well. I never did hear from the service manager that Ben said would contact me. Not sure if I would use them again though, due to lack of communication and the length of time it took to fulfill my order.
After receiving a voicemail that my item is out of stock I have attempted 6 times to call and sent 2 emails and have yet for anyone to respond. I should not have to go through this kind of trouble to get someone on the phone. When calling it says "all agents are busy", slight further online instructions to send an email for a return call and then hangs up on me. NOT HAPPY!

Similar to many, the prescription glasses I ordered never came in due time. The story appear to be the same as with many others: they say the glasses are in stock (on their website), you order & pay, then you have to chase them via customer service for weeks only to be told in the end that the glasses are actually not in stock so it will take longer (at which point they offer you a refund, wait for the glasses to actually arrive or buy another pair). The customer service is swift and polite but completely useless when it comes to actually help you chase your glasses from the production lab or elsewhere. I consider SmartBuyGlasses unprofessional and unreliable thus I can not recommend them.

At the beginning I was not sure as you are never sure with a website that you just found googling, and that has no telephone number to contact them. But the service was fantastic, I always received my merchandise, and when it was out of stock, they sent me several e mails until we could sort out any problem. I will continue using it for sure

I have been ordering from Smartbuy for more than 3 years and the service is always excellent and consistent from one order to the next. Would definitely recommend as prices of contact lenses are affordable and good quality.
In the past 6 months I bought two glasses at SmartBuyGlasses. The first one was a special offer for a Lacoste. A little bit more then € 100,- with thinner glass, delivered in 4 or 5 days, complete and ready to put on and walk away.
After this one I wanted to try one of the glasses from the Smartbuy collection. Only € 40,- because I didn't change the glass for thinner ones. Again same delivery and despite the price the glasses are of good quality.
You will understand I will continue buying my glasses at SmartBuyGlasses and I can't understand people who keep on paying around 4 times the price you have to pay over here.
I really need these to work, live and feed my family, all I get is updates saying ''preparing for delivery'' and it has been a week plus now.
I dont know it shouldn't take this long and the communication should be a lot more clear, I have nothing and I am suffering.
I do not want to talk bad about this company and I see many are happy but me is going very $#*!ty right now.

Selecting my new glasses was a good experience, delivery was relatively quick. However, the expensive lens, although supposed to be the most durable, soon showed scratches even though only the cleaning cloth provided with the glasses was used to clean them. SmartBuyGlasses Customer Service was somewhat quick to respond however, they sent me a set un-cut lenses. Not many places want to cut the lenses and install them in your glasses, so I'm left with a pair of expensive glasses with scratches and an un-used pair of un-cut lenses that cannot be used.
UPDATE: This issue has been resolved! The Service Manager I worked with (Caselyn) was super helpful and replaced my eyeglasses at no charge. Now that's good customer service! Thank you!
I ordered a pair of Ray Ban 2140's on April 15th, and since they ship from Hong Kong i was worried they would take weeks to get here. I was amazed when they arrived here in Toronto on April 17th via Fedex bright and early. After looking online i can see that they are 100% authentic, they even have the manufacturers barcode sticker on the box. There are also tons of coupon codes you can find online to even further discount the price. I will definitely recommend this site to everyone I know.

Recieved glasses in a timely manner however glasses case was missing. Over two months now and still waiting. I have had to chase for updates which are vague and useless at best.
Just to update. Guys have come back and sorted this out giving an extra them an extra star
Very disappointed with the support that they provide and I wish that their return system was more smooth.
They did not send me the Stella McCartney accessories that was included in the listing (spectacle case, dust bag etc.) which makes me wonder if the spectacles are fake.
Unfortunately I did not buy via paypal so it seems like I don't have any security or backup now when the support isn't answering. 160 dollars for a pair of glasses that looked very different from the picture in the listing. Wow what a great purchase. Not.
One should only buy from smartbuyglasses if they're 100% sure of what they'll get and for the love of god! MAKE THE PAYMENT THROUGH PAYPAL!

I ordered a set of Prada sunglasses not available in the color I wanted in the stores. The price was good but not brilliant - about two thirds of similar styles in the stores.
The shipping advice showed that they were coming from China which worried me a bit because they are made in Italy. However unlike many people reviewing on this site they did arrive really quickly.
However I am fairly certain they are fake not original Prada. This is because the lenses and frames should be etched with the same serial no. And that should also be on an accompanying white certification card - which wasnt enclosed.
I am asking for my money back and will let you all know what happens!

Easy to order but im not really satisfied with the delivery time and UPS.
And. My glasses felt used and was bent and "unbalanced", placing them on a flat surface made them wobble. Also I had them adjusted to my head shape, but still they are bending back to the wobbly shape. Well, the pricing was excellent :)

More than a month waiting for customs clearance (I know that's not your fault, but it was part of my experience), finally when I try my prescription sunglasses, way to high!. Not my prescription, at this point I just laugh, not to mention the time before when I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks because you and your supplier ran out of that particular item... anyway, we agreed you would send my correct lenses and I would do the mounting here in Mexico with my local shop, you also agreed to pay for that, which I really appreciate, I really thought I had a win if you just send me the lenses. So, as a 3 time costumer, 2 out of 3 bad experiences gives a 33% satisfaction rate. I do have to recognize that Luisa (I wonder if it was the same person each email, I sent a few during all the waiting), was always polite and answered quick. I will celebrate when I have my sunglasses 100%

I have order one pair of sunglasses. When I put the order it was not obviously to me that it will take 3 weeks before I would receive the glasses.
Normally delivery time is crucial when ordering online.
When I call the service desk they explained the reason, so I got an understandable explanation.

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
