Ordered a set of raybans for myself and the husband on Monday and was amazed to see them delivered on Thursday! As they were almost $90 cheaper locally it seemed too good to be true, so I had them inspected by the staff at my nearby high-street store and they confirmed the authenticity.

This was my original review:
I ordered a pair of Tom Ford eyeglasses back November. The correct item arrived, and when they said it would. However, 30 days later I received an invoice from FedEx in the mail, claiming I owed them $14 for duty of "eyewear shipped from Hong Kong" Firstly, I was under the impression from the website all items shipped from Canada as there is NO mention of ANY duties required (this also makes me question the authenticity of this product!) - AND all associated shipping fees were cited as all FREE. After sitting on the phone with FexEd for 30+mins, I am told there is no way for me to get out of this charge, unless I call the supplier and they pay. Have tried calling the customer service number on smarbuyglasses.ca site and IT IS A DEAD NUMBER! Such a scam!
If anyone from this company is reading this post my order number is CA*******306G and FedEx invoice number 7-274-******* - I would appreciate a return phone call and payment of the $14.23 owing.
Since posting - I have received great follow up service from SMG, they followed up and have paid the duty fees. I have advised them to change the dead phone number listed on their site and they are following up internally. My initial rating was 1 star, but I have since increased to 3. Going forward they should be more clear with how duty charges are reimbursed and adjust their customer service contact information to receive 5 star. I have also verified the product is authentic.
I placed an order on Oct 12,2014 and after a few delays, they told me that they could not guarantee that they can fulfill my order and strongly recommended me to change my order. After they assured me that they were confident enough that they could get another model, my order was changed on Nov 28, to this new model which costs an extra $55. A few days later they asked me to settle the outstanding amount within 72 hours failing which they might return the item back to the supplier. Thinking that they have receive the item, I asked them whether they were about to ship it to which they replied that they were expecting expecting it on Dec 14. They then informed me that the item has been further delayed by 5-9 days but not to worry as my order has been prioritized. No mention whatsoever from them about the outstanding balance. I kept pushing them and the next thing they said that item couldn't be shipped to them because of the outstanding payment. They were basically implying that it was my fault if the item hadn't been delivered when I had to change my order because of their inability to secure the model I initially ordered.
I have now asked them to change my order back to the original order and delivery is scheduled for the first week of February 2015. The model I ordered is a 2014 model so chances are there this model will be superseded.
SmartBuyGlasses is at best a totally DISORGANISED and UNPROFESSIONAL... and at worst CON ARTISTS and COUNTERFEITERS

1. Placed and paid for a pair of sunglasses on Oct 12,2014 and as of date, I am still waiting. I have never been happier
2. Their stock changes due to the busy season and recommend me to change to other in stock items (for the second time). But not to worry as they will keep pushing their suppliers.
3.Ive dealt with four different customer service representatives. But then could be the same person changing the signature
4. Consistency in getting email saying that delivery has been delayed by 5-9 days
5. They are consistent in apologizing and understanding that the long wait can be frustrating but no need to worry as they have prioritize my order
6. They do keep their promise to return your email but only to tell you that they cannot guarantee they can fulfill the order. They should promise to deliver the item purchased
7. I am after a trail running, mountain biking eyewear but to them any look-alike more expensive trendy eyewear would do
8. A rough estimate of 5-9 days before my item arrives at their distribution center
9. Paying $89.95 to be able to give a different perspective about SmartBuyGlasses: how enjoyable!

Convenient website, flawless quality of product and helpful client support. Had a 1 week delivery delay because of their supplier but was notified about that in advance and offered a discount or a refund. No reason why would I not use their services again nor recomment them to others.
I paid on 22/11 still the status is Stock Confirmed. For how long should i wait for? This is a christmas gift. Thanks for makeing us sad at christmas times.

Do yourself a favor, call their 1-800 number. It hangs up on you instantly. All of the reviews about them giving you the runaround on shipping times, its 100% true. If you look at the website in detail at the way things are worded, everything is worded in a very misleading way. For example,
FREE Shipping - within 5-11 working days - this sounds like you are getting a deal, but it actually means as long as they stall and say its not available, you become responsible to pay the shipping after 11 days, and trust me, they will send you lots of emails.
Here is another one:
Returns: 100-Day returns & 24 months warranty - this sounds nice, but it really means is, they will not refund your money within 100 days. You will not see a penny from them for 100 days if ever.
All of the fake positive reviews are from them and only them, do not be fooled.

Absolutely awful - sent me some supposedly new glasses that arrived with bent arms so did not sit straight on my face. I informed them of this (having sent pictures to validate) they told me this was 'normal' despite this never happening in my previous 15+ years of wearing glasses and that I should take them to an optician to get fixed (new glasses?!).
I insisted upon returning them and had to send multiple emails explaining that I would not accept faulty glasses and wanted a full refund, I repeatedly was told this was normal and not justification for a return despite their 100 day guaranteed return policy. Eventually after multiple emails and submitting a return request on their site I eventually received an RMA number to return the item.
I returned the item recorded delivery and they signed for it yet are now claiming to still have not received them despite me sending numerous chasing emails attaching the proof of delivery and the proof of signature at their end. Most of these emails go unreplied to. I am still yet to receive my refund.
Absolutely shocking service, I would never consider using this company again, I only hope I get the money back

Purchased and paid for one of the most expensive pair of glasses on their website. Have been waiting for 3 weeks and still have no visibility of when I will receive my glasses. Every time I contact them I get the same stock standard response which says 5 to 9 days. Seems I am now just another miserable aggrevated frustrated agry customer. Don't be fooled by the competitive prices. I would pay a significant premium to deal with a company that actually knows how to deliver their customers with a good service. This bunch of scam artists are quick to take your money before coming back to you to inform you that they do not have the stock and can't tell you when you will be receiving your purchased. People like this should be locked up behind bars.

I got the wrong amount of lenses, then had to wait ages until the rest were shipped to me.
Buyer beware!
Ordered sunglasses showing to be in stock. 2 weeks later - nothing. So had to chase the order only to be told that distributor had run out of stock and they had no idea when they'd be available.
This carried on for a month until Id had enough and cancelled the order completely.
I put it down to bad luck and believe in giving second chances, so ordered another pair and specifically asked if glasses were in stock before I placed the order. I was told they were 100%. And guess what, the same thing happened again. In total almost 2 months chasing shades that were never in stock.
In the end I had to rely on good old eBay to get them shipped in from the states to the UK.
SmatBuy will tell you that it's out of their hands and that stock levels are governed by the distributors. That's frankly unacceptable as customers we purchase in good faith from the smart buy website. They should know stock levels and make sure to confirm an order can be completed BEFORE customers spend money and waste time chasing due to an obsolete system. I'm afraid until they rectify this, I would urge you to stay clear of at least understand there is significant risk you'll be waiting a long time, or will have to order something else.

F*****g appalling supplier, substandard service...
I purchased a set of Ray ban Carbon fibre edition glasses. After a LENGTHY wait they finally arrived and with a faulty protective case. After contacting "Customer service" and having to send over pictorial evidence of the damage they reluctantly sent me out a replacement case... after another LENGTHY wait it arrived... and whenit di it wasnt the correct case for the glasses! Again i contacted customer services (with pictorial evidence) to inquire and to arrange that the CORRECT case be sent out... another arrived, you'll never guess?... INCORRECT CASE! To my disbelief this happened a further time! So i now have 1 damaged case and 3 completely different cases that i have no use for... DO NOT USE THIS SUPPLIER. The only attraction was the marginally reduced price, i now know why it was cheaper... Save yourself the hassle, use a popular, proven site and pay the difference people.

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
