Very happy to find a site that offered prescription sunglasses as well as regular glasses. The site itself is easy to use and it has a lot of style choices in every price range. I bought one pair of glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses and I LOVE them both. Quality is great. My glasses arrived fairly quickly.
I ordered Raybans 6 days ago, credit card has been charged. I did not get any email confirmation of order. There is no phone number to call and when I call the number on my credit card statement it goes to a different company. I have sent an additional message off the website to try and cancel, only want my money back right now. Communication has been very challenging.
I have now been contacted which is good, I'll update when my money is refunded.
UPDATE, funds have been refunded. This may have all been a misunderstanding I don't know, ultimate they refunded the funds so I have adjusted my rating.
I have bought a Ray Ban and a Persol from this site.The price and quality of the merchandise has been absolutely fantastic. I am certain that in future I will buy more stuff from SmartBuyGlasses and will definitely recommend them to any one who is looking to buy designer sunglasses at probably the most competitive prices.
Smartbuyglasses advertis glasses at a price they cant supply you with. Their site deceives you into thinking all glasses are stock items. They take your money, make you wait weeks then request you pick an alternative from their stock list. Pure deception. All your email questions are answered robotically. The only plus is after months of fobbing you off with lies and keeping your money, is that, they do refund you.My advice is if you want sunglasses for a 2017 holiday buy somewhere else

My order was placed in Canada. I placed an order on October 23,2011 for a pair of D&G glasses, just the frames no lenses. I was so excited about the amount of glasses they carry and the prices are just phenomenal. However, I recently checked the order status and it said that the model was discontinued. I don't know why my particular frames were still on the website if they've been discontinued. I called the customer service line and I was reassured that I will receive all of my money back in 3-4 business days. I'm so disappointed about everything and now I have to buy my frames at full price at lenscrafter. They need to step their game up and delete all of the discontinued models.

Usually any refund should be processed within 24 hours, however it could take 3 to 4 days for the bank to approve the the transfer/refund and complete the transaction.

Unfortunately i did not have my glasses yet. The courrier provider is a mess in Argentina. I have to pay an store fee for each day of custody they provide.
You have to give your customers the opportunity to choose a carrier (UPS, DHL, Fedex) even is there is an extra charge.

I tried on glasses while I was on vacation as I had the input of the Optician, and my Mother and sister. Normally it is just me and the Optician. Found lovely frames; all 3 agreed they were best. I got them from SmartBuy with a 2 year warranty for a fraction of the cost. Everyone loves them and except for having to return them if they get damaged (and remember the warranty) I can honestly say that they made a big difference in the cost of having to get new glasses. Been trying to order sunglasses for 4 days. Website does not upload my order, then when it seems to be working it does not recognize my prescription (loaded or saved). Called, phones will not answer, left call back number - they did call back and asked for an email order. 3 days now and nothing. Tried today and through the same as the beginning. Would rather pay $750.00 per pair than waste my time with these knuckleheads.

Still waiting for my sunglasses! I ordered a pair of Maui Jim on January 9th. Received email that glasses were shipped on the 11th from Hong Kong. Have not received as of yet. I have called customer service several times without success. They say that glasses is held in customs. I see by reviews that its a common practice. Obviously, they have problems with Hong Kong distributor. I was told by customer service that they were trying to resolve problem and they would get back to me. They never did! I just called this morning and nothing has been resolved.

Before Christmas I ordered Maui Jim sunglasses. The price was competitive, product was shipped by regular post and I was able to track the shipment. Very satisfied with delivery time and condition of the product. Compliments on the careful packing to protect my new sunglasses!
... but not the fault of the company, unfortunately the glasses were misplaced by Royal Mail and never delivered due to the huge strain on these services due to Covid-19. SBG did eventually refund for this but it did take a bit of back and forth correspondence between us. But I want to fair and say it was an extremely difficult period for them so I really appreciate them resolving the issue despite the time taken. Would look to buy from them again in the future.

Excellent place to pick up a pair of prescription glasses. I loved a pair I saw at Lenscrafters but the frames+lenses together cost $428 there. I ordered from smartbuyglases.com.sg, and started out with a few concerns especially since it took so long to get confirmation on whether the item had shipped. Just a word of advice to buyers - check whether your item is in stock, as if it isn't there will be extra time required to confirm the stock with their supplier, and get the item shipped to the distribution centre before it's shipped to you. Overall, it took ~3 weeks from purchase to delivery; initially I contacted Customer Support as I wasn't sure what the status was, but they were extremely timely and efficient, and continued to provide updates on the item status going forward.
Once the item was shipped to me I received it within 2 working days. I'll definitely buy again - my item was in perfect condition and is an authentic piece - but will make sure to choose items that are in stock so it arrives faster!

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
