They are reliable, and I trust them completely.
The customer service is great and there's no doubt that I will buy my next pair of glasses here.
By the way, their prices are lower than any store or website that I checked...
Recently I bought frames and glasses with prescription though Chile's web page (www.visiondirecta.cl) and it was a pleasure for me, and a big surprise, to see that it was a very convenient option compared to any local store. Furthermore, they have a huge stock on frames of multiple brands, and the prescription glasses are great. Moreover, shipping took a very decent period of time to get to my country.
I ordered 2 different pair of Persol to choose from. One shipped right away and I received them in less than 2 weeks. I also got updates from customer service all along the way. The second pair was back ordered and never showed up. I was happy with the product that arrived and the communication during the process. The quality is perfect. I would order again from this company.
For Canadian customers at least, when pricing out glasses, be sure to account for taxes, duty and brokerage fees. Despite the Canadian site, my glasses shipped from Hong Kong and I was hit with brokerage fees upon delivery of the package. It's not the import fees that upset me, but the misleading shipping information at http://www.smartbuyglasses.ca/fast-shipping that seems to imply that Canadian orders are domestic.
UPDATE: after contacting customer service, smartbuyglasses has offered to refund me the import fees associated with my order - so plus one star. I considered finding your site a blessing. It was the cheapest & I looked everywhere. And it was shipped amazingly fast; got it in 2 days. This is the best ski goggle I ever purchased, great in low light & any kind of light conditions. I definitely recommend this.
I ordered the sunglasses to be able to take them to our holiday in dubai. They were supposed to be sent within 11 working days (ordered on the 19.01).
Shipping confirmation came on the 16.02. We are currently back from our holidays and the glasses are still not there

The purchasing experience was perfect. The problem is the product in itself. While the prescription was correct (and my prescription did not change in the last 3 years,) I cannot wear the new glasses without the risk of falls because of complete lacking of depth and feeling of vertigo (I want to specify that I am 38 and an amateur athlete.) At the beginning, I thought I needed to get used to the new glasses but after two days of constant wearing it, I felt a huge sense of nausea and I had a constant headache. I gave it another try a week later and again all the problems showed up again. I went back to my old glasses.

Its cheapest place ive found for glasss, although i had a tough time ordering for my daughter as i was in canada and all my cc info and shipping would be to USA after 4 days of emailing back and forth everything got sent. This problem was safety related so its not fair to slate them for that. On the whole good place to get glassses.
I have been pleased with the quality of the frame, they are in line with supply. I had problem with the graduation of crystals, probably my mistake by providing some graduation. It took longer than expected, although customs problems in my country. Highly recommended.
I got my 2nd pair of designer glasses, and again, I am very satisfied. Short delivery, fantastic customer service and the product was what I was expecting.
Now waiting my contact lenses! Great values, helping people important for me so that was one of the reason of choosing SmartBuyGlasses :)
If you don't have any items under fast shipping, you pretty much stand a chance of facing delays and that seems to be a norm. I ordered a cancer council product on April 14th and within a day i was told to wait until May 1st to get the product stocked at warehouse. But on April 30th, I receive one more email indicating that it will be 10 more days before it is possibly stocked. I promptly asked for a refund and it was done in time. Hope they improve their logistics solution.

I checked and no emails blocked in my anti-spam box. After 45 days no updates with the status of my order US83xxxxxx43G. The Smartbuyglasses is not dealing with professionalism. How many more emails and complaints I have to post to get my rights? This is a stupid situation.
Still waiting for my glasses! Ordered them on the 22/9/13 and it's now the 30/10/13. No news until now from them to inform me about the time processes of my order. I already sent to them many emails and no answer. Be aware to buy any goods with them. Sergio O.

Both were ordered within the last year. The Nike lost a small screw, could not be provided and was no guarantee matter as it didn't happen within 6 months... So far for the 2 year guarantee.
The recent order concerned a Carrera, which lost it's logo within 2 weeks time. No replacement logo could be sent. Luckily I can order a new model and I was promised a full refund on the Carrera.
So 2 minor problems that can not be solved, which is disappointing. Besides that the solution for the Carrera is a rather costly one for the company itself...

I've made a couple of purchases from Smartbuy and they have the best prices on GUCCI Eyewear. They are always professional, shipping is super fast and the products are just as described. I can't say enough about my experience. When I find a business or service I like I'm a customer for life!
Be aware, Wrong information is occasionally stated on the website. I bought a sunglasses that was on the website stated as Made in Italy and turned out to be Made on China. They have refunded me the money however still trying to get my return shipping cost as they have promised me to reimburse once they have received the glasses.
If it's too good to be true... it's probably Smart Buy Glasses. I purchased Oliver Goldsmith frames and was told twice they were in stock, stock confirmed and on their way to the distribution center but alas they kept delaying the order by 5-9 business days. When I called to speak to a rep they told me conflicting stories about why there was a delay and whether or not they actually have the item in stock. The company is in the UK, the warehouse is allegedly in Italy and the customer service is in the Phillippines so good luck finding out where your frames are. Are they fakes? Oliver Goldsmith has said they don't distribute to them so I cancelled the order, don't want to wait to find out and then be stuck paying the return shipping fee.

I like the service and have ordered several glasses. Despite some problems with order which were my fault and delay with lenses which were non-standard all orders were timely delivered precisely meeting the prescriptions. I love the prescription upload feature that gives extra guarantee that all is done right. Highly recommend! Did I mention that prices are unbeatable and products are excellent?

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
