1- The Lenses Quality is not bad, and i think it's a time to upgrade for latest new lenses from (essilor & zeiss).
2- Installing Prescriptions Lens are not a professional comparing to another website offers.
Sunglasses got lost on the post. Extremely poor service. Called more than 15 times to eventually get a refund, was told that get a refund for the calls being made but then was told "sorry we can't do that"
I was very impressed by the price ($50 less than retailer) and by the quick delivery. I also received updates on the status of my order which was delivered in 3-4 business days. Would definitely order again from SmartBuyGlasses.
I asked a few questions over email, and they responded very quickly. Great selection, great prices. I was really happy with how fast they were delivered as well. Overall a fantastic experience, and I would recommend them to anyone!
On a normal absolutely standard order they are OK. As soon as there is a problem, the wheels fall off. The staff handling queries is english-illiterate or they pretend to be. One of the glasses sent to me had a flaw in the actual glass and i got the most stupid comments like "use the cleaning kit". I took some pics of the problem which was a starburst in the lower half of the glasses to prove my point. All I wanted was to send back the lens itself, they have the precise dimensions and could return a cut lens to do the replacement. I got an unending stream of impractical options and eventually replaced the lens myself locally.

This is the second time I have purchased from this site and I am very happy with the service and their system. The last purchase was fine but this time the product i bought looks darker than its picture on the website and the glasses are a little faulty (they are loose and a little stretched).
I have worn them twice now and find it a little inconvenient to post back as I live in Sri Lanka.
One of the few shops that carries Smith sunglasses in the EU, and prices are competitive. Shopping was easy and I was kept well informed about the progress of my order. Only negative point are the continuous reminders for a review :).
I chose Smartbuyglasses because they had the best pricing and offered an additional discount for some sunglasses I really liked. I placed my order and they gave me no ETA. After a few weeks they still had no updated ETA. I emailed them and they said their supplier hadn't confirmed inventory but once they did, they would let me know. A few more weeks went by and still nothing. They then reached out and said they would refund my purchase or sell me some other pair of shades. This happened a few more times over the next month until I really hammered them for the product... then magically the sunglasses appeared at my doorstep overnight-ed from China. I think they sold me the pair at a loss and didn't want to hold up their end of the sale. ANYWAY, after 2 months, I now have the glasses and LOVE them. BTW, they were about $75 cheaper than any other vendor after all the discounts.

I was so happy to find the classic oversized YSL frames I had been looking for at Frames Direct for a fraction of the cost my local optical shop would charge for the frames alone. They are the same frames just without the bricks & mortar middleman. Service was excellent - I had to call with a question, and they answered promptly and we're very helpful. Great products, great service.
Once I placed the order, I received a confirmation that the item would be shipped from Hong Kong. I panicked and thought to call and cancel the order but decided to give it a try. In the next few days, I did my due diligence and researched more about the company. I have since lost the link but it appears that the company does have established business relationships with these companies that are associated with these brand name glasses. I would imagine that the products are past season items sold at deep discounts which are then passed on to the consumers without the retail markups. Just IMHO.
Shipment was incredibly fast for coming from HK. I bought a Gucci frame that was exactly what I had hoped for. BTW, the same frame is not sold at any of the retailers or optometrists that I've been to. So again, past season or fake? I don't know...
Overall, I still have misgivings about the company because it's not U.S.-based, but the overall experience was much better than expected.

Great experience! Paid half the price of what the glasses were in the store here in NZ. Was worried they wouldn't be genuine so asked around first to see who had bought from this site and everyone was pleased with their purchases. I purchased online for glass frame for S$201.00 on 15th Nov 2015 through credit card. My order was confirmed and funds were deducted immediately. I received an order confirmation and status show that it was in process.
SMARTBUYGLASSES never even inform me that my item was actually unavailable. Why they still advertised and accepted my order and deducted my funds show lack of integrity.
Price also varies tremendously. My item was at S$201.00 and 2 days later it dropped to $147.00 and now it is up again at S$201.00
I have written several emails but have yet to received a call from them.
I am still waiting to sort this matter out with them.

I've purchased a couple glasses from smartbuyglasses over the past 2 years. Good company & excellent prices, but my main issue is delivery time.
My 1st glasses from them were prescriptions. Waited a couple weeks for my glasses and when I received them, they were missing the anti - glare coating. Because it already took me 2 weeks to receive them, I didn't want to wait another 2-4 weeks to have them corrected. The second time around I only purchased the frames and had the lense done locally.

My experience was great. The website was easy, fun, and had numerous choices. Whether it be designer brands or cheaper glasses for other people. The checking out process was fine as well. Quick and easy.
Order was never even processed to begin with despite the "preparing to ship" bull$#*! on order status. Non-existent customer service to boot, and clearly I'm not the only person to be rinsed by these fraudsters.
The worst on line business. Very awful. I tried 2 times to buy sun glasses during their sale season. Each time after 10 days waiting, they contact me to say (sorry your item is not available). Very dishonest and lairs. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
