We ordered drinks from a place down town, waited for our drinks, no show the guys even called to get the address, never showed up, support would not help us needless to say I'm pissed of this company is a $#*!ing joke, show your business up your $#*!
I ordered food from Skip the Dishes and when the food arrived it was cold. I sent in feedback/complaint to their "support" email and the answer i recieved was because my order arrived on time, they won't issue a refund. Their statement in their auto reply is "Our #1 objective is to ensure customers have an incredible experience" and "We are committed to making things right" is condescending. As long as your order is delivered on time they won't help, even when your food arrives cold. So much for their commitment.
When I needed to contact SkipTheDishes, their chat folks are not supportive. They take so long to respond. They didn't even provide me with the voucher that they said they would when I signed up for their account and app for the first time long time back. Sometimes the restaurant takes over 13 minutes to confirm the order. After I was not treated well this afternoon, I ordered my food directly from the restaurant over the phone. I am not going to recommend or use their service from SkipTheDishes any longer.
They never deliver, and then their app shows delivered. On top of it, if you contact them, they give a 50% refund excluding delivery charges, tips, tax etc. They are merely extorting money from consumers. They don't have a responsible delivery team and have zero responsibility and transparency in the process.
Food orders dropped off by the delivery person at the hotel's employee entrance. Food left outside.when the driver had the guest's room number and was too lazy to enter the main hotel entrance. The security camera showed a homeless person picking up the food and walking away. What is wrong with people? Is this normal practice?! I don't think so!
I have been a customer of Skip for about a year and in the last two months they have not only screwed up my orders but refused to refund me for items that I didn't even receive! I have emailed them several times and never gotten a reply. These people do not care about their quality of service or customer care. They only want your money and too bad for you if you didn't get what you ordered or if your food was cold, spilled everywhere or didn't even show up at your residence! NEVER ORDERING from them again. Especially after they repeated end chat with you when you are trying to get your refund back! Poor Service and ignorant customer service reps!
Same thing as everyone else is saying. It doesn't rate to even get a "worse" star - robbery and illegal as far as I am concerned. I feel that if everyone stays away from them, hopefully they will go out of business. A good friend of mine works for one of the restaurants and they are cutting them off as it looks bad of their part as well...
SO messed up. Ordered and within 15 minutes food ready. Driver confirmed then obviously cancelled. 1h later, still no driver. Called the restaurant and food is sitting under the warmer for 45 minutes. Contacted chat support and they found my order, connected a driver to it. I said I didn't want the food that's been sitting there for 45 minutes. He booted me off chat and continued to send the driver to pick up the food. I CANNOT BELIEVE this company! Never EVER using. Stick with Uber Eats.

I've given this service many chances. We can't make it to restaurants because we have young children. But now I've had enough. Very disappointing experiences. My orders are wrong almost every time I receive them. Customer service has now accused me of being dishonest about it when I report it. It was apparently my fault when the driver didn't knock on the door and sent a text message that the food was here, that I didn't receive and left without dropping off the food. But it's my fault because apparently knocking on the door is a special request and I didn't request it. They can also be super late like over and hour. Try another service.
What a horrible service. I placed an order for Boston Pizza (cactus cut nachos) and also paid for an extra dip. The food arrived and is absolutely inedible. The chips are overcooked/burnt and there was no extra dip. I called Boston Pizza and they told me that since I ordered through Skip, I have to go through Skip for the FULL refund. I went and contacted Skip. Skip then told me they can only offer $9.18 back as a refund plus a $5 credit. UM. NO. I paid $27 for this and have to throw it out because Boston Pizza's kitchen has no quality control. I ended the chat with Skip and tried to connect with another chat agent on Skip. I expressed my frustrations and they assured me the issue would be resolved. They also offered me the same "50% off" option (same scripted line). Skip, have better customer service than this. If you want to keep customers, DO BETTER.
I gave specific information on where my place is and the guy kept calling for 20 minutes asking where I live. I gave him specific instructions over and over again, by the time I got my food it was ice cold and they refused to give a refund. This isn't the first time and I am missing stuff from my order again. Complete bs service.
There is no one to call if you have a problem! Not being able to contact the driver is also really annoying. Once a skip driver drove right past our house and didn't stop, said it was "delivered" and kept driving. Out 70$ and no food! Seems like it should be easier to fix a problem than it is, time to step up skip. I like door dash for that reason
Horrible will never use these morons again the driver will pick up multiple orders and drive around and deliver all of them so then the poor last customer has stone cold food I was one of those last customers and will never do this again and they are so kind to only give you back 50% of your money after the whole order is affected and then you have to go out and buy more food and wait again never use skip the dishes use Uber eats instead!
This service does not give refunds if the food is not delivered and you try and communicate to get refund, they say they tried to call you. But in fact didn't, and just stung me out of 60$. They have lost a customer. This has has happened too many times now to excuse!

Was charged $450 on my bank account and skip says they can't do anything about it. Customer service says i need to contact my bank, banks fraud department is closed for the weekend. Will probably be a few weeks before I get my money back. Terrible company terrible customer service.
I placed an order for delivery tonight which never arrived. I had on agent tell me my address was wrong. I have been ordering for two years with no issue. Waited for a supervisor to call but that never happened. There seems to be no effort to resolve and no accountability. Will be making a complaint to the restaurant. Skip the Dish needs to go back to having the drivers call customers to confirm delivery. Horrible service.
Tried to redeem a emailed gift card worth $50, their web site wouldn't redeem it due to an error. After arguing with customer service for about 5 hours on multiple occasions, I gave up. They are rude gas lighting a holes. Don't deal with these crooks!
I think the pizza place was upset that I gave them a low review. So the next time I ordered, they sent me a plate full of red public hairs. I reported it to skip the dish but instead of refunding me and contacting the restaurant, they blocked from ever using their app and sent me a sarcastic message about having high standards and ending our incompatible relationship.
The customer service rep was dismissive and sarcastically rude about the fact my address magically changed in the app somehow since the last time I ordered (18th august). I live alone and no one has touched my phone to do so, nor have I myself changed the address since I ordered last several times... I live in the same place.not at 214 millenium apt 103. This not only wrecked dinner but also my excitement to finally try this restaurant. 50+ wasted. What a rip off.
My order said it was delivered and it was not.(second time this has happened in the last 2 weeks) I contacted support and they basically sided with driver told me they wont refund me. So basically their driver screwed up but im the one who has to pay for it? How does that make any sense? I'm now out 59 dollars and I don't have the food I ordered. They just robbed me. I will never use this service again. They have horrible customer service, horrible delivery drivers, and they are down right thieves. They need to be held accountable for all the people they ripped off as I'm now seeing I'm not the only one. Company is a joke.
