Incomplete orders, orders not delivered, terrible customer service. Done with skip. At least Uber Eats uses a code system to ensure your order is sent to the right address.
Driver couldn't find my address, didn't try contacting me, but said in the app your courier has dropped off food he didn't drop off, said he contacted me which he didn't. I spent hours chatting with what seems like bots before I finally got a full refund, but I was relentless. Had I given in I wouldn't have. And it was literally hours of time and I had either wasn't heard or wasn't believed. The building # was missing but he had my cell phone and I was waiting at the door and he never attempted to contact me and I've had successful deliveries here before
Thought it was great until driver left $40 of KFC in lobby for anyone to grab! Didn't ring buzzer at all. Lazy prick! Never again!
Wr order food...over $70 worth of food. Driver said he showed up and didnt, said he attempted to contact and didnt. Called the restaurant who confirmed the food was not returned. Skip the dishes claimed wrong address and would not offer a refund, event after confirming the correct address, still no show and company offered only %50 refund, but it didnt total %50. So skip the dishes makes money for not providing a service and the driver takes off with 4 free meals. Needless to say every household member removed the app from their phone. Never again. And we already contacted multiple times and not one person would take accountability.
Had a few situations with skip. One of them is they are supposed to take a picture of the food at the front door, instead the driver left the food at the gate that is on the side of the house.
I ordered a pizza like many times before, but this time the seal on the box was opened and the pizza inside was a mess. Skip refused to refund me

Order from McDonald's. Order arrived with missing nuggets and seal on bag broken. Skip the Dishes refuses to give refund. Why should I pay for something I didn't receive.
Ordered food during a major power outage in montreal. Took over 1 hr. For a nearby mcdonalds (2km away). Only received part of the order. And food was left outside... and cold. I wrote to them since no tel. Number is given. Their answer: will give you 5$ credit on next purchase. Only problem is: will never order from them again. Try uber eats or doordash. Safer.
Yet again ice cold food delivered after 1 hour waiting. Got on chat...4 dollars in refund for a 30 dollar order. Then refused to be given all my money back due to the terms of service. Guesswhat. Looked up the terms of service...they say they are required to refund. Time to start a class action lawsuit against these clowns. Have the chat agent confessing to skip breaching their own terms of service
I ordered some food from a local place for takeout. All the items were deep fried as we were making noodles at home. The food arrives and the chicken is bright pink in the middle and oozing red liquid. I immediately contact customer support and they say sorry... here is $2.08 in SKIP credits. The order total was $58.18! After arguing with them for over an hour I eventually got them to agree to the full refund but then I asked them to confirm when I would receive the money back. At that point the agent simply ended the chat. When I started the new chat the new agent said they could not see the details of my previous conversation. I waited 5 days and no refund. I have since issued a chargeback and they banned my account from ordering. LOL. No worries, I will stick to other services from now on! Absolutely horrendous company that will screw their customers to make a buck.
My driver delivered to the wrong house. I saw him go to my neighbours so I called to him. He then came to me and said my address is incorrect. I told him on my phone it is correct. He just argued with me saying I need to change it when he is not reading it correctly. Didn't pay for food to be argued with. Bad customer service
Spoke many times about not getting my order but the did not respond accordingly they didn't care enough to respond about my complaint horrific for my first time
Like most Skip reviews, this one is also bad. Honestly never had a problem with them before this delivery. Ordered a pizza. Could see the driver puck it up, then he drove around with it for 50 minutes before delivering a cold pizza. The driver was upset they rerouted him. Skip Sucks!
My neighbour ordered McDonald's for her son's Birthday. It was contactless delivery and was delivered to the laundry room door of the building which is basically the basement, around the side of the building, which no one uses except to do laundry. I noticed it around 2 hours after delivery. I told my neighbour and she had already had an argument on the phone with Skip the Dishes and they were going to do nothing for her.
Delivery services in this town suck big time. It's about time someone made them accountable for their sub-standard services.
I have been a regular customer of skip, but now I serious will consider not using skip any long. I had ordered dinner last night from a restaurant that was not a great distance from my apartment building. I made sure to check the tracker regularly so I could meet the courier at the main entrance. However the courier never arrived. So I contacted skip to let them know. They had checked the info (address,etc) just to make sure it matched up, I explained that I have had an issue on occasion that the order I placed would to the wrong address (the property next over from my apartment building) because for some reason the gps guides the courier there, so I make sure I give very clear instructions where to find me so it is easier for the courier) Some couriers have no problem finding me and other couriers ignore the instructions and half the time I don't receive my order. Basically, when it comes down to it the person I was dealing with from customer support accused me of lying and told me I was being refused a refund. They claimed the driver took a picture of where he delivered it, when I asked to see the picture the response was "I am not allowed to share the picture". So to accuse a long time regular of lying and denying me a refund? I fought for the refund and I did get it. The point of this is that I have never lied or tried to rip off anyone for anything! I wouldn't want it done to me so why would I do it to someone else? Congrads Skip, you have lost a long time customer. I have noticed the the customer service and overall operation of Skip the Dishes has gone downhill, It's horrendous, and Skip apparantly doesn't value it's customers or the service provided.If I could give 0 stars I would.
I had ordered from an a&w literally 5 minutes away from my house. The courier got there and sat in the parking lot with my food for over half an hour. After it was delivered it was blatantly obvious he had eaten most of the fries and drank most of my drink and then refilled it with water. After waiting in a queque of 46 people to talk to customer service the representative entered the chat and then immediately left, as he was probably doing to all the people waiting before me since it was moving suspiciously fast. This is about the 15th time a courier on this app alone, has tampered with my food or just not delivered it at all. Customer service can be kind but is overall useless. DO NOT waste your money with this one. Uber eats it.
I will no longer use this company for anything. After multiple items were missing from my order and it took forever to have it delivered…. What we did receive was cold and they refused to do anything. They not only over charge, they also screw up your order. When I contacted support I was given a big FU, your on your own sorry. I strongly recommend using any other service! Skip the dishes is trash.
Drivers take multiple orders so deliver is delayed. Gift card support is lousy. Generally poor customer service. Won't use them again.
