You cannot believe how terrible customer service they have. Zero customer satisfaction. Horrible communication. Beware! Never use them.
I've been sending emails to SkipTheDishes. They have replied back but nothing has been done about my situation!
A few times I have ordered and the drivers just leave my order at another house they need to learn how to use a map or phone if they are unsure
Order Mcdonald's to a hotel. Never arrived, and when I requested a refund, they gave me useless "Skip Credits". And not even the entire amount!
My sons girlfriend ordered him food and a drink. When it got here the drink was spilt all over the inside of the bag covering the food. When she called to get a refund for the order they refused to refund her claiming she had gotten a refund before on a different order. The customer care representative was rude to her so I called them and the customer care representative didn't even know the difference between the order number and the skip number. When I told her I wanted a refund she told me they couldn't and she was sorry. So I asked for a supervisor and she tried to tell me she couldn't transfer me to her supervisor and that since the call wasn't productive she was ending the call and hung up. I called back and got the same girl who I asked again to be transfered to a supervisor she told me she couldn't but then put me on hold came back to me and said her supervisor would call me in an hour. I waited for over an hour and didn't receive a call back. If I could I wouldn't give them any stars for a rating as this is one of the worst co. Panies I have ever dealt with
Skip sent "food delivered" message when the food was never delivered.
I wouldn't even give one star if I can. Ordered through Skip, the restaurant was Royal Paan. Skip said the estimated time of delivery was 60 min at the time of the order, then a message said so and so picked up your order. After around 60 min it said estimated time of delivery was again 60 min and Gina picked up the order. Was the first message a false message? I was confused.
Then we were waiting for more than 2 hrs. I had friends came over, imagine the situation. After more than two hours, I was trying to reach out to someone, there is no number to talk to someone. Annoying. At that time, I got a message and email said it's delivered. I was like what, we went outside and checked. No one came to the door, it's clear because of the snow. It was all false messages and Gina never delivered food, but in my account, the status still says as delivered.
There will be no one you can talk to. Chatting with them is annoying and they will react like nothing happened, simple said sorry. They provided no explanation as to what happened to the food ordered or they don't care about all the stressful waiting time while you are hungry or the embarrassment in front of your friends you had over or that you all are starving that night. They just think refunding your money which you will get after 10 business days will solve the issue.
I had a very bad experience. Does the online system give false messages to people? Are the drivers taking the food for themselves when someone else pays? If you can't can't have the right people and do the right job, then you should not be in the business.
They don't care about the stress of waiting or that you are starving or the embarrassment in front of your friends or any mental stress this can cause.
Annoying.
Worst customer service ever. I have deleted this app and will not be ordering from them ever again and rather support local delivery services.
I ordered 2 salads from a very close by restaurant it took 2 hrs to get here, only got $5 credit. Wtf. Skip the dishes $#*!ing sucks.
We order from a restaurant which is around 6kilometers away.
We've waited for 2 hours and no one picked up the order.
The courier won't cooperate with requests which only means the company doesn't enable them to deliver proper service. Deleting the app
I order the restaurant away from my house for 10 min walking, and i waited for over 1 hour. And it does not delivery. This make me so angry
My wife ordered our supper through Skip the dishes. Despite confirming the address on her phone, the app decided to use the address from the last time she had ordered from this restaurant…which was three months ago. She had made orders after that one, and all of those delivered to our home fine.
So we were a little surprised as we watched our food getting delivered to my wife's friend's house. They refused the delivery (naturally).
When she called in. The person told her on the phone that it was obviously her fault for entering the address wrong. They then got into an argument for 5 minutes on this point. Apparently, there was no way for them to contact the courier to change the address, and they would not refund the money ($100). They would however put at as a credit on her account, and she could re-order in 10 minutes.
We called the restaurant, as we didn't want the food that was going to be rattling around in the delivery driver's car for however long it took him to go back (if they actually do go back. That is unknown.) And the resteraunt was exceptional. They remade our food, charged us the "food cost" (which apparently is all they get back from skip the dishes on missed or cancelled deliveries) and refused any kind of tip when i went and picked it up.
So, in the end our dinner cost $130. We will of course continue to use this restaurant and sing there praises to anyone who will listen as they're customer service was exceptional if not above and beyond.
Skip the dishes will get $100 more of our business to clear out our "credit," and then they will never be used by us again. Also, we will be shouting to the rooftops to all who listen about not only their lack of customer service…but their actual confrontational attitude. In short, if you have a problem with your delivery? Well, then obviously you are an idiot who can't use an app and deserve to be berated for that fact rather than actually solving the problem.
Basically if anything goes wrong you are in for a fight and you probably won't get much of a refund if any. I ordered twice today once for breakfast and then lunch. Both were screwed up. The breakfast never came even though they sent the delivered message. Well if you like to type then This is for you after 12 minutes or so of back and forth they did refund the entire amount back onto my account so I could reorder. Okay mistakes happen round two also today lunch time roles around and my disabled daughter wants a special meal she has just returned from her dad's and I think why not so I pull up the app order and wait. The food arrives rather quickly okay great start but low and behold we get the wrong burger and her dessert is missing. Great my child's order is the one that is royally messed up okay here we go same process go online pull up the complaint department and look one agent has left try again 2nd agent gone this happens 5 times before someone with a brain enters the conversation and wouldn't you know they can only partially refund the order. The order was $30.00 the refund of credits is only $18.00 keep in mind my food is stone cold and inedible and I cannot eat my lunch in front of my child while I am trying to resolve this and it takes on hour to get that sad refund. I get another email contact to someone higher up so I plead my case at this point they inform me that they can only refund 50% of the order. I check my skip account and I had requested they move the credit to my bank account instead and guess what $18.00 drips to $12.00 that's not even half and the agent who took my email offered me an extra $7.00 as a good faith payment a one time deal. Oh did I mention this is added to the app I am going to be deleting. We'll there's that $18.00 part in my bank and part on an app that I am going to trash. What a bunch of thieves. They surely can afford a measly $30.00 return to a customer who they should want to keep. Skip the Skip the dishes app and try out something else not just pizza.
Leave food and liquor outside against instructions And they say oh sorry we can refund you after it's stolen and hang up chat.
Their courier gave my food to someone else and they claim to have thrown it away.
