After not ordering from here for over a year I decided to give them a try since door dash site was down, and they had my wrong address in the field. First why would I put a different address and it won't allow me to delete it. Customer service is horrible one guy ended our chat while we were still talking. They took no responsibility for their system glitching. Boycotting skip and will be telling my close one the same thing. Screw this company. Scam
So twice now they have delivered to a completely different address. Saying it was my fault when I literally just had them deliver food here not even 6 hours ago at 4am due to being in pain I ordered some aspirin and a coffee. Offered only 50% of funds. Don't use skip they're incompetent and don't know what their doing. Will besically repeat themselves till you give up or give in.
Twice in the last month a delivery had taken 3 hours... the food came completely inedible and soggy. The best they could give me was 50% refund and $5 credit. The food went in the garbage. I essentially paid money to stay hungry and be pissed off. Other providers such as doordash/Ubereats have given me full refunds no questions asked on smaller issues. **** skip the dishes. Will never use them again.
Skip was awesome in the beginning but it got way too pricey plus the drivers get verbally angry when you don't tip but some ppl don't have enough money to afford anything extra on top of ridiculous fees lmao unfortunately will be deleting the app.
When we started with Skip during covid generally good service a couple of minor hiccups nothing major but lately we had 3 out of 4 deliveries that where ridiculous we give detailed information building name landmarks etc. first it was delivered to the school across the street next time to the building next door wrong address wrong name on building the last straw they supposedly delivered our food did use intercom to contact us (which we always supply) checked all 3 entrances no food contacted Skip help all we were told they delivered the food nothing else this was after a 70 minute wait in a town that everything is 20 minutes away. Definitely the drivers do not read instructions or do not understand. We know everybody has a bad day but when 3 out 4 it's bad employees.
You make cuatomers wait over an hour and a half to get food? Your company is shameless. And i dont talk about people working for the company - they are doing their best. Ceo of skip, man invest in your company, stop being cheap. Fix your app. Money cant buy pride.
Ordered food and paid for it. A white car parked in the driveway with loud music. By the time i opened the garage door it had disappeared. No one rang the bell, no food left outside. He just got to the address to show on his gps but never delivered the food. Contacted them to see what's going on, the answer was « sorry there is nothing we could do. We'll follow up with the driver » never heard from them. I didn't want a refund, i simply wanted my food.
No refund no food. I'm calling visa tomorrow.
Do yourself a favor DO NOT use them or if u must, make sure u pay after delivery, even in this pandemic situation.

Deleted the skip app now only going to use Uber eats. Good job skip your lack of customer service just lost you a customer and be sure I will let anyone that listens you suck!
I ordered food. It was stolen by the courier. When I told skip this they said it was out if their control and it was my problem. Refused to even help me or give me my money back. They are scammers who not only steal money but your good too. They need to be shut down.
The company wouldn't issue an honest refund on one of two items missing from my order. I had only ever requested maybe 2 refunds on 200+ orders, both extremely legitimate, and due to Skip's inability to take accountability for their mistakes, I'm so done. I placed my first order with Door Dash today, and I'm not looking back.
So - similar to many other reviews - we ordered $120 worth of food, waited, it was set to "delivered" almost immediately with no tracking. Contacted help, they said "it should be picked up soon"... and it simply never arrived. How does this happen? I can't help but think the driver said "Yep, I dropped it off" but then took it home. So, no food and I wait for a week for my credit card to be reimbursed. My daughter told me, "yeah, that happens sometimes." WHAAA? You're damn right I'm gonna "Skip".
We ordered a pizza from our regular place. They use skip the dishes. The driver showed up at a different location and then just left. When I finally reached customer service. The guy tried to pass off a bunch of crap as an excuse. I told him to give me back my money and forget it. I have to wait 5-10 business days for my refund. What a sleazebag company. Do much for customer loyalty. I've been ordering from the same place for years and this is how you get treated.
They did not deliver the food and blamed us for entering the wrong address. We did not change or touch it on the last order and they refused to look at previous orders and look at our address on the main account. It was still untouched and the driver did not leave food in the lobby if no unit showed up. We have to contact our credit card to dispute the charge. SkipTheDishes are thieves, stealing your money. Their customer service is suck and poor as if they really do not care about you!
I have been a user Skip The Dishes for some time and have enjoyed the convenience and service. Having my meal delivered to my door was a great aid to my life since I have mobility / walking challenges.
I placed an order on Jan 9,2022 which was not delivered (and not found nearby). When I contacted customer support I was told my missing order missing order will not to be credited. With no previous warning my account was locked from receiving credits. This order was placed with the same delivery instructions as I always have always supplied and the previous orders have been delivered to my door as requested.
This treatment is unacceptable that the customer should be held financially responsible for errors of the delivery driver or even errors in the food orders from the restaurant / supplier.
Credit for the missing order was refused.

I then tell him that's he's at the wrong condo that he needs to come across the street.
Not sure how he got wrong building when it's not my first time ordering and every other time it was gone But anyways. When he finally got here our food was no word of a lie ice cold!
Contacted support and all they could say is 50 % refund!
I'm so upset that my food was terrible cause of the delivery service and that's all you can do for me?
We ended up reordering using DoorDash.
IDE rather pay 2.99 delivery fee to DoorDash and get proper service than skip the dishes@.69 cents delivery for unfair customer service.

Used this service last evening I wiill never use it again. Absolutely I feel so upset! To boot, I am pre-diabetic and even had a low blood sugar event due to it. I was Furious when told that some email had come in to say the driver was there, but I did not even receive any phone call on two different lines listed on my account. Still very hungry, I had to deal on the phone and on e-mail with customer service. They suggested I put through another order what all restaurants were closed or closing at that time in this area. Just imagine trying to offer me some credits for their service after all that?! I finally got a refund and will absolutely never use this service again! Hungry and Furious
Skip the dishes needs to rate the restaurants on speed to get orders completed. The drivers are great, but the speed and quality of food leaves one to question why the Restaurants are not flagged for slow order processing. Last order I made, and yes this will be the last time I use this service took over an 45min at KFC, for delivery to hotel while travelling out of town. Chicken tasted like fish, there were no napkins or cutlery included. Previously ordered from Five Guy's, got stale bun and burnt to a crisp bacon. Quality does not seem to be an option these day's
Two times now my order has been wrong. They say they will refund but they partially refund, have taken more off of my cc and then not given me the return back. So now I'm out double! The online chat tells me there is nothing more they can do for me and that the refund has been issued but is never actually received. Then they cease to respond. This delivery service may be convenient but they do not care if you are double charged, have the wrong order, or care to resolve any issues. I suggest ordering from the actual location and picking up if you can... skip using skip
Absolute garbage! Won't give my money back. Driver never tried to contact me ever and customer support doesn't give a crap. DO NOT USE THEM! They are theives and will steal your money when you aren't at fault! They have lazy drivers!
I was given a gift card for 200.00. The numbers were not readable when I tried to enter them so I scrubbed a little harder and that made it worse. In November I reached out via the chat and provided the pictures of the card that do show a card number I am sure they can track. I have since reached out 6 times and every time I am told to wait to hear from their team and this should take 24 or 48 hours. It has been two months and still nothing. I have offered to bring the card in somewhere to have it scanned but they have never responded to the question is there somewhere I can bring the card in? Had I known they would not be doing anything I would have asked the person who bought me the card to reject the payment on their CC.
Answer: Not at all easy. And they are disrespectful, rude and downright terrible at providing service. The worst company I have ever dealt with.
