I placed an order on 10/27/20 because all the items had the notation that it will ship within 24 hours. Then, I paid additional for 1-2 day shipping. 48 hours later, order had not shipped.
After communication initiated by me, I was told there was a problem in their warehouse and that it could be 2-4 additional days before the order would ship. My order was over $500, and I paid additional for fastest shipping option.
So, I canceled the order through the website. I also sent messages to receive confirmation of cancelation because I had a bad feeling that there was also going to be "problems" with that department as well. When I didn't receive a confirmation I initiated a live chat and was told that yes, the request was received and my order has been canceled. This was 10/29/20.
Fast forward to 11/4/20, they charged my credit card. I initiated another live chat after sending a message on account. And wow, no surprise another problem. They say that they are issuing a refund, but we will see.
Also, after I canceled my order on 10/29/20 I ordered from a reputable company and have already received that order and with only standard shipping.
I will NEVER order from Skinstore.com again!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their return policy states that if you are unhappy with your item for any reason, you can engage them for return within 14 days of receipt.
They DO NOT ABIDE BY THIS POLICY AT ALL. I ordered their $150 advent calendar for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived with a damaged advent box. The box is PART OF THE ENTIRE GIFT, yet they are saying that they will not replace the damaged box with an empty one because it is "outer packaging".
They will not exchange the entire item, for an undamaged one. They will not return it for a refund. This is the second horrid experience I have had with this deplorable company. And you cannot call them or email them.
You are only able to message them through their horrendous portal on their website.
I submitted proof of damage on my initial inquiry. They proceeded to act like they didn't see/receive my photos for three more contact attempts (which take days to respond).
This is a very unpleasant buying experience. I ordered a 3.4oz product, but I received a 0.34oz product. I contacted their customer service and asked me to send the product to the party at my freight. It is now during the COVID-19 pandemic period. It is not easy to find a job. I cannot ask for leave to send things. So I spent more than 170 dollars to buy a product that was sent wrong because of their mistake. I was so disappointed! More than 170 dollars, worth a 0.34oz product? They treat me as a millionaire,
Our order was never received. The Skin Store response was that orders over 40 days is untraceable and will not be refunded or resent.

There was no notification on the order verification summary regarding a 40 day response time limit. In this era of tremendous technology, it is astounding and unacceptable you cannot trace an order placed July 30,2020.
This is the first time ever an online order not been received.
It is truly unfortunate you do not stand behind your business.
Also unfortunate, is that you unfairly have $74.38 from our VISA account, which we paid you in good faith.
I saw a Flash Sale on the Skin Store Website for Molten Soap, along with an Excellent Gift with Purchase. I had to Pump Up My Order to get the (Haa Haa) Free Gift. In all they only took Me for about $270.00 which is good compared to many other Customers Experience. There are NO Free Gifts. I do not think the Molten Brown Soap they sent is authentic as it Smells Strange. How can they stay in Bussiness?
This is the worst company I've ever bought something from! I bought Perricone MD Deep crease serum & it made my skin feel fiery hot. I gave it 4 days but nothing changed. So I contact the SkinStore Customer Service. I gave them all the info. They asked for Then they wanted an exp. Date on bottle. I couldn't find it. Then they wanted pics of bottle. So did that. Heard Nothing! Wrote them again, they started me all over again from the beginning. Then said someone will be in touch. I called Perricone MD, there is no date on bottle, only on their sunscreen & supplements. So now SkinStore wants pics n more info again. So, I told them again 4 days of use n my face felt hot & fiery after applying. It didn't visibly burn my skin, so no photos. So, waited to hear again back n get email stating someone will be in touch with you & again, wanting more info of the incident. Just a run around. I told them I told you everything. This morning I get email stating, since box has been opened no exchange or refund! They do this to everybody! I even asked for a telephone number to contact them I asked for a ph # & they gave me U K. #. I said "don't you have 800#?" They gave me 800#, but it wasn't legit. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don't understand how HIGH-END Skincare companies let them sell their products. Just BEWARE!
Do not buy from this site! They are a scam! Ordered $100 pca retinol from them. Tube came in box but empty! They wanted me to pay for return to god knows where before they would refund me. Then they would "reimburse" me shipping?! What company does that?! I would give it negative stars if I could. Money lost, they should be taken off the web!;
I never experience such slow service of my life, but here we go 2020, take you a month for a online order and still not deliver.
Asking for refund, they keep delaying the eta, and told me to be patient and wait.

Over a month to fulfill an order. Whenever I inquired about my order, I was given no information and Was told I could request a refund. Because of COVID days, I've tried to be patient. I finally gave up and said to process the refund. They only refunded part of my money and I'm still fighting to get the rest of my money. Meanwhile, they spam my email day and night with ads for the same products they are refusing to fulfill. Seriously, how are you going to advertise products daily you have not fulfilled in over a month from old orders. Terrible company! Stay away!
I have ordered for Sunday Riley CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening serum 1.7Oz, this has lasted only for exact 1 month with only one tiny application each day. From my previous experience from John lewis, this was meant to last for months (atleast 3 months). This time i decided to buy it from this website because it was cheaper here but now i learnt my lesson after wasting £74. Please Don't fall in this trap of cheaper price compare to other genuine stores because at the end it is a complete waste of your money.
Do not order from here. They cancel items after you've paid for them and don't refund your money they just deny that they've charged you and don't respond even after you've provided proof
Absolutely skip this vendor. I should have researched before I purchased, because there are so many negative reviews of this dot com. Paid for a premium product that arrived defective and unusable. As it is a skin product, I did not immediately use, and was only days past the disappointing "14 day" return window when I reached out. Despite only looking for a replacement, Skinstore refuses to help me or stand by their damaged product in direct violation to their listed policies. Their customer service is useless and rude.
I bought a defective product and after a month of hassling them, they show no signs of giving me a refund. Every time I contact them, they have a different story.
If I could give them a big fat zero, I would. I placed an order on 8/17/20. It is now September 28th and still no product. Did the chatting with customer service at least 4 times and the first three times they said it was a mix up with the warehouse. This last time they said that one of the products has been out of stock. I cancelled my order. Worst company to order from. The product is expensive and I thought it would be a reputable company. I will never do business with them again!
Horrible customer service wouldn't recommend to purchase anything from them! Didn't receive my package at all and was emailing their customer service for days and they send me a form to file so they can open an investigation, and for that you have to print it out and scan it back! Don't go near them!
Sent me the wrong product and want me to pay to ship it back. They answer email once per day, so it can take forever to discuss a simple problem. Avoid at all costs. I had to get my credit card involved to get my money back.
I accidentally ordered two of an item. I immediately contacted the site. They told me to return and gave me the address. NOTE-unlike every other beauty site they not only do not offer free returns but they do not provide a label. You have to go the the Post Office and mail yourself. Hi 1983. So I send. It has now been 3 1/2 weeks and no refund. They do not have phone customer service nor live chat. You have to send messages through a message app, and they get back to you the next day. I provided my tracking number to show the product has been delivered, but each message I get (every other day) states that they are investigating. This is a $100 Refund I am owed. Over a week of the BS messaging-still no refund. Still no reason why. Why is their warehouse issue my fault? I have proof it arrived! I will never, never, ever order from then again. Beware.
Do not order from this website. They make it extremely difficult to return anything and if they finally do let you return something they won't refund your money. I ended up having to file a chargeback with my credit card company. This website is a scam. Read other reviews online.
