I didn't even know that treating customers as poorly as SkinStore does could be possible in this day and age. They make customers jump through hoops to return faulty, expired, defective products that they seem to repeatedly send out. These are high end products; everyone should do themselves a favor and purchase from reputable retailers who protect their customers if things go wrong. My experience with Skinstore is nothing short of robbery.
I bought the serum from this website for $116 and used it for a few weeks, my skin got irritated and broke out so bad. I tried to contact them but they kept asking about the batch number and expiration date but I don't have the package anymore. I can only take the photos of the bottle for them but they don't even try to help me solve the problem.
I rarely write reviews but I thought it was important to do so for Skin Store.
This company is very dishonest.
When you order a product, their system directly records a subscription request.
As a result, a month later, you receive the same products and of course, your credit card (which they took care to register without your permission) is charged!
I of course contacted customer service, returned the products but was never refunded!
I had to file a complaint with my bank to finally win my case. My bank credited me the amount but it took a lot of work to put together the complaint file, send the evidence documents and it was only 3 months later that I was reimbursed
And we're talking about 170 dollars!...which is quite significant!
Skin Store is really dishonest. Do not ever order any products and do, not ever provide them with your credit card!
I recently purchased the 111Skin cream from Skinstoe, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. The product itself caused a rash on my face, and to make matters worse, the color of the bottle started peeling and contaminating the cream. When I reached out to their customer service, the lack of follow-up and resolution was astonishing. Despite daily efforts on my part, they dismissed the pictures I sent, claiming not to have received them, and closed the case without addressing the issue. A frustrating and unsatisfactory experience overall.
I never for my order. Contacted customer service and spent a half hour providing info. Then the person says you have to fill out a form and submit it.…. Why did I waste a half hour going over everything swearing my neighbor doesn't get it my concierge ( I don't even live in an apartment lol) craziness and on top of that the form has to be printed and uploaded its not online
I keep giving them ANOTHER TRY because I get AA miles to shop there - but there is an issue each and every time I place an order - usually with delivery. This last order I took a screenshot of the order where it says free delivery within 3-5 days... 2 weeks later I reach out and ask and they reply "it usually takes 5-10 business days. So why promise 3-5? And why can't i track it? LIARS
I ordered the large size. They sent me the small size. I contacted "customer service".
They said, this is what you get for what you paid. Apparently, I was to look at the pic of the item and ignore the written description of what i ordered.
So...i requested a refund. The return authorization i was sent even listed the LARGE size as the item to be returned. I returned the item (with delivery confirmation). They denied my refund as the returned item was never received.
I have had to go thru my bank/ credit card to get my refund.
JUST DON'T DO IT!
I ordered 2 slip silk pillowcase. They picture the slip pillowcase with the zipper, but send the envelope style instead. I reached out and said the item was not as pictured. An RMA was approved, and I returned both, but I had to pay for return shipping (which they said they would refund). Upon receipt they only refund one item, stating the other was damaged. It was (obviously) opened because I did not expect to receive an item different than what was pictured. 5 messages back and forth with customer service and I still don't have my full refund. They are a terrible company to deal with.

In short, I never received my package, and it has been nearly 3 weeks of going back and forth with SkinStore customer service and I still don't have my items or a refund.
I placed an order with SkinStore which was shipped with the courier Pandion. The order was tracked as out for delivery in a city hundreds of miles from the delivery address. The package was marked as delivered and I never received it. It's been 3 weeks of following up with SkinStore customer service and there has been no resolution.
My recommendation is just shop at Sephora who has much better customer service.
Bought Revitalsh Eyelash Conditioner from SkinStore. The product caused infection to my eyes. I reported to SkinStore right away and was promised to be contacted in 2-3 business days. Nothing happened ever since, no response and no follow up. Then I had to contact them 3 times for follow up. Finally, it took me 20 days to get their response saying the product has no issue, and I need to provide doctor certificate for getting refund. I stopped using the product right away, and wouldn't put on the product again to be infected again to get the doctor certificate. Very ridiculous, very bad communication.
SKINSTORE never resolve the problem of sending old inventory skincare that is over 2 years old. THEY shipped GWP "Gift with purchase" And sold it at a discounted price. They don't want to resolve, told me they will respond within 2-3business days. It has been 5 days, no response, no solution. I am planning to return all the stuff I purchased that is over $200 each order, I placed 2 of the same orders. Never want to do business with this company ever again! It is not right in the mind of selling gift with purchase that was supposed to be free with a "purchase" Murad if you're seeing this your dealer: Skinstore is selling your GWP2021 at discounted price on their sales section. Shameful!
I placed an order from the black Friday sale and it took off.01 cents instead of the 20% discount advertised. The wrong item was sent. To return it took numerous phone calls, emails and chats, downloading paperwork and having to go to post off during busiest time to return the incorrect item. They wouldn't ship correct item until the wrong item was retuned. I ended up canceling my order and am waiting on the refund. Terrible company Do Not Do business with them. Wouldn't even give 1 star
Shame on me for not listening to reviews. Ordered two products, one arrived in box with wrapper removed and bottle empty. It was obvious the product was used as there was dried product at the end of the dispenser. SkinStore is either selling returned products OR employees are using products and strategically placing used items back on shelves to be shipped. In that case SkinStore needs to up their quality control game! This company is very much a scam, to the point that I am not returning the product as they make it nearly impossible to contact them regarding damaged products/returns and I've now read enough negative reviews reporting alleged credit card fraud. I'll be out $75 but I think it's wise to cut ties with this company while you can. I agree with other reviews stating they'd give a negative star review if they could.
I would rate it minus 5 stars if I could! Customer service team is useless. Feels like they have a robot, writing replies. My parcel was shipped back for some reason and even after admitting there was a mistake made from their side by one agent, other agents answered to the same mail thread claiming that the order is on the way. "If you do not get your order in 30 days, then let us know and we might do something" - they say, ridiculous!
I ordered two items for Christmas in late November and received a shipment about a week later. Unfortunately the box did not contain what I ordered and instead had three items from the Dr. Dennis Gross line (?). I contacted customer service on 12/6. It's currently 1/28 and no response. I ended up giving away what was sent which seems just as well given how many people never receive refunds. Extra star because the items I got were likely more valuable than what I paid.
I regularly buy a particular brand of pricey shampoo and conditioner. I decided this time to try to save a few dollars by ordering it from the SkinStore. Bad move. My purchase arrived late (although they insisted it was delivered by DHL 4 days before I received it) poorly packaged, with unwrapped and unsealed product inside that emptied entirely into the box! It was all a sticky mess that I wanted to return. Three weeks later I am still trying to get a resolution from the SkinStore, but I have yet to receive a replacement or a refund. Don't take your chances!
Terrible customer service! I never received My item and they barely check their complaints! 45 days since I placed my order and till today no solution. Terrible!

Do not buy from this site! They are a scam! Ordered $100 pca retinol from them. Tube came in box but empty! They wanted me to pay for return to god knows where before they would refund me. Then they would "reimburse" me shipping?! What company does that?! I would give it negative stars if I could. Money lost, they should be taken off the web!;
I purchased a laser hair removal device and it stopped working after two weeks. They made the return process as long and difficult as possibly. I finally involved my credit card company who refunded me the money based on the emails and chats. The Skin Store claims it will pay for shipping back on defective items, but it does not. I was involved in a chat that went on for three days with various employees that kept asking for the same information over and over again. It was clear they were not going to pay for the return shipping. So here's a lesson on how to do bad business. Had they returned and refunded me on the defective device, I would have gladly paid double for their upgraded new device, about $450. As they did not do this, I then purchased the device at Nordstrom, who I know that if I had any problems with the device would return it without any issues. Ok, Skin Store...you got me for $15 on the return. But you lost out $450 on the purchase of the new device...AND...I'll certainly NEVER order from you again. I also have to wonder if $15 was worth the price of all of the negative reviews that I'm leaving you.
My package was stolen about 2 months ago before it arrived. I contacted my customer service and they always says wait for 24-72 hours for an update answer but I never gotten an answer or hear back. Horrible horrible experience. Will not buy from this company again.
