Scam!

I purchased Nubody from them just because I was supposed to get the free beauty bag worth 177 dollars. Sure enough, I got my order, but free beauty bag was missing. After sending couple of emails, I finally got an email that there was a mistake in warehouse dispatch so this is why the beauty bag was not shipped and they are working on fixing the problem. After my other emails, I got an email from them where they offered 10 dollars credit instead of my beauty bag. I asked to send me my beauty bag or something of similar value. Still no answer. That was my first purchase from Skin Store and it would be my last one. I wish I read the reviews before buying from them.

I had a terrible experience with skinstore.com, wanted to write a review of their bad customer service on their website but couldn't find a relevant space there. I searched and found Trustpilot, and found many people like me, who have had bad experience with Skinstore.com recently.
I made a purchase in early March. There were 8 items, including a generous gift with purchase. Very soon, I got a parcel from them, but there were only 3 very low-priced items sent to me. I was surprised, but on the website, they said those 5 items were being processed. So I waited.
A few weeks later, I got an email saying they cancelled the free-gift. To be honest, if there was not the gift, I would have chosen to buy the items on another website. How could they say they would give me one day, and cancel it another day? I contacted the CS and asked them to give me a gift of similar value, and also when they were shipping the rest of my order. They said they would try to find something in the warehouse and would give me a reply.
A few weeks passed, no-one answered. I contacted them again. The same person told me she would give me $5 (in replacement of the gift that they claimed to worth $309), and since I live in China (actually Hong Kong), they cannot send the rest of the order to me.
It was totally ridiculous. Why could they have sent me part of my order? And they don't even get the destination right! I have been placing orders from other US based website in February and March and have received them without problem. I think they are hopeless, and I asked for cancelling my order, and have the shipping fee refunded as well. They said since part of the order had been sent, they couldn't refund the shipping charge.
I didn't ask them to send me whatever were available first, they sent me a few low priced items, together with the shipping, I was actually paying much more than if I bought on other websites. Why should I choose Skinstore.com? There are many websites which provide free shipping. It's like they attract you with discount, generous free gift..., once set you in the trap, you suffer!
Even now, you are still order things with international shipping. Why don't they stop shipping internationally when they say COVID-19 stops them from sending everyone their order?

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I understand slow shipping and processing due to COVID-19 But the management and lack of information is unacceptable and can not be blamed on the pandemic. I ordered a product 2 months ago. At first I began to receive to notifications apologizing that it was slow to ship. And then nothing! After 2 months it never came. They closed their customer service Center and was forced to sent them messages online. No one answered any of my messages. Now I'm communicating with them through facebook messenger where they replied every 2 days.

I ordered two items from The Ordinary, and paid for express shipping. My items came very fast, well packed and the products in perfect condition. I received communication emails about order confirmation and shipping status. I was very impressed, especially after reading many negative posts.
I will definitely order from them again as well as recommend to friends.

I don't understand how a company will take over $300 if they can't send the product. I have no way to contact them and no way to cancel the order to get the money back so I can order from a company that can deliver.

Don't even bother..

I have no idea as to how this online store is still up and running, it's a total scam. I ordered products almost a month ago and still have not received my full order. I ordered 6 items, with next day delivery, I only received 2 of the items purchased. Then, weeks later after having to constantly speak to customer services on a daily basis about my missing items, the rest of the items were sent out. I have only just received another 3 of the items ordered, they STILL haven't sent out my complete order and the items I ordered are saying they are in stock on the website. Customer services STILL have not resolved my issue and it's impossible to even get in contact with them, takes me ages each time I try. I will never be ordering from them again, it's honestly laughable how useless they all are.

I ordered products from here, then requested a cancellation because I found the same products for like 1/2 the price elsewhere. I requested a cancellation on the website. I was unclear what had happened, because when I logged on to check my account a few days later, there was a notice that said "Cancelled." So logically, like a normal person, I thought my order was cancelled. Weeks later, the products arrived. When I inquired as to why I received an order that said it was cancelled on their website, they said the ORDER wasn't cancelled, it was the conversation with customer service. WTF? They then refused to pay for return shipping. TERRIBLE. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

Zero return policy

I have been trying to return a product that caused a skin reaction for about 2 months now. They initially told me that they don't take returns on products that they cannot resell. So it follows that since they sell skincare, that most everything is not returnable. I have fill out 2 questionnaires, sent numerous letters and they keep telling me that they are waiting on rely from another department. Stay away from this company.

Do not buy from this company! They are liars. Good luck receiving products!

Dermstore is a great company! I've never had issues with them. I'm not sure why I tried Skinstore in the first place. I definitely regret it.

Products are not as advertised. No one answers their customers service number. I am a disabled, senior. I had problems uploading photos. Absolutely, NO RETURNS. Especially, during these trying times. Absolutely no consideration from customer service. Yes, I compared my products with perricone.com. Their products are definitely fake. Seal was opened. Now, that I finally know how to include photos; it's too late to return.

I purchased the Nuface Mini from Skinstore and it arrived no problems. My problems arose when I used the Nuface device for 3 days. My face began to itch and the device would zap me even when I slathered on the gel primer. I contacted Skinstore's customer service and was essentially told I could not return it because I opened it. When I raised the issue of the itching and zapping, they said they would escalate it to the Compliance Team. I am not holding my breath that it will ever be resolved in a satisfactory manner. The fact that I cannot return a product that causes me discomfort without all this hassle is disappointing. I will never be using skinstore again. I am looking into disputing the the charge on my account to get my money back. I am happy to send them the item back

I am such a fool for purchasing from this store! I bought the nuface set as well and it's been over a month and it hasn't arrived! The most annoying and inefficient customer service I have ever experienced!
It all too long to type on here. Their stalling tactics are horrible! I am currently trying to get a refund. Please do not support companies like this! I wish I read reviews on almost every review platform online before buying.

I placed my order months ago and spent around $ 500 for two products. There was a promotion of NuFace for the Gel Primer (worth $48) if you buy the Trinity Set.
This promotion was the only reason why I chose Skinstore and not another seller and why I spent so much money on one order.
I never received that Gel Primer. They wrote me first that it will be delivered later, there is some delay. I received two emails from Skinstore where they asked me to wait a bit and assured that the missing item will be shipped soon.
I waited for months, checked from time to time the status of the product and it showed me "in Progerss" or smth like that. So after waiting for months I decided to write to customer service and discovered, that the missing item was simply cancelled by Skinstore!
They lure customers in with those promotions but never fulfill their obligations. The customer service was poor and just offered me a credit for $5 instead of missing item worth $48! It a scam and unfair competition, as they lure the customers who would make their purchases at other sites.
Besides, the customer service kept telling me that this Gel Primer is "out of stock" while it is very well available and is on stock on their site and can be ordered. Do they think the people are that stupid and would believe those lies?

Never in my life (and I order almost everything online) I saw such an unreliable business and such a poor customer service. Be aware!

I increased my order to be eligible for that gift in excess of $60 from skinmedica. After more than 1 hour in chat and escalated to a supervisor it is very clear there will be NO promotional gifts honored. They will merely give me a $10 coupon but that can not be combined with any other offer. 1st they always offer 20% off and 2nd, free shipping only after $49.

Where to even start...

I have never written a review, but I was treated so poorly by customer service that I had to put this out there. After purchasing the Neogen Illuminating Eye Cream, I was only able yo use it twice before I got red and itchy. I called customer service and it is as if they could not take my word for it and did not believe me and said that someone from their quality team would contact me within 24 hours. Chelsea the Beauty Quality Assurance Adviser basically said that all of the products are tested so well before being released into the market that it could not possibly be one of their products that irritated my skin. She proceeded to say that it must be my skin, lifestyle or diet that was causing my irritation and that if I wanted to be able to continue this investigation of the irritation from the eye cream I would need a doctors note to prove that it was exactly this eye cream that was causing my irritation. Is this a joke? This eye cream was the ONLY new thing I introduced into my skincare regimen and they have the audacity to attack my lifestyle? On top of that they will not let me return this eye cream even though it was pretty pricey and on top of that causing me harm. I basically have to throw $100 in the trash. I will never buy from this company again and have informed all of my friends about this.

Don't buy from this site. They lure you in with free gift promotion but does not fulfill it. There was a promotion of Skinmedica for free gift valued at $160. I made a purchase and they firstly told me that this is out of stock so offered me a $5 credit, which obviously any sane person would not accept. That is so disappointing. When they actually have the same gift restocked and same promotion, they wouldn't fulfill my original purchase order. They said that they could not send it separately! This is so untrue as they before emailed me that the item will be sent out when it is restocked. This is totally a scam.

Please be very wary of this company if you are placing order and hoping to receive gift as they have no intention of ever sending out gift and continually give false information. Never dealt with such a non customer focused company. Avoid take business elsewhere

I buy skinceuticals C Ferulic from Blue Mercury, but came across skinstore and gave it a try. My package came ripped open from an unnamed address, with no markings on the box. The two products came in what looked like skinceuticals boxes, but when I opened the product, it looks like yellow water, not the darker yellow oil I am used to. The consistency is completely different, and runs like water, rather than oil.
Spent close to $300, and didn't receive any of the free gifts that were supposed to come with it.

Will never use your services again. Have ordered a face steamer which never arrived- it was delivered to a UB3 location which is no where near me, I am in E3! Have contacted 3 times and no one has ever helped, tried again today and have been told its been too long and they cant investigate. They never did 3 months ago! So they have kept my money and not resolved anything. Shame really but as you can guess, i will never use you again and wont have any pleasant things to say to others about your company.
