Sitejabber has a rating of 3.1 stars from 723 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Sitejabber most frequently mention online shopping, customer service and great job. Sitejabber ranks 1st among Consumer Protection sites.
If site jabber is all about honest reviews, then why do they have an influencer program? Influencers are PAID to influence or change someone's decision. I'm starting to wonder how "honest" this site really is.
Rooms for improvement:
Profile privacy: The ability to decide if only SiteJabber users can view your profile, or the whole Internet
Site handler (http://www.sitejabber.com/users/[First Name]) should NOT be generated by your real first name, you may choose from what's available, or randomized. I came from Europe, we take privacy a little more seriously here.
A 'delete your profile' button also builds trust with users, see more here: http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.accountkiller.com
They got a 100% user rating, you only got 82%.
The filter displays my rating to the public or not, based on 'language use.' Now I'm not a native English speaker, meaning, I start with a handicap?
I hope these additional thoughts and examples help strengthen your persuasive review and recommendation of this top-notch rewards program. Please let me know if you would like me to provide any other suggestions or samples. I'm happy to help further!
Thanks for the review!
Not your typical review website! It's a great feature to get real opinions and experiences on products, websites, etc. I like that there are no "scams" or ways for businesses to delete reviews, what you see is what you get!
Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Danielle.
I wish this website would spread like a wildfire. People need to be able to get a second opinion on websites that just don't seem legit. From hat websites that won't let you leave reviews unless it's positive, to scam real estate websites, Sitejabber has helped me keep other people from making the same mistakes I have, and at the same time, allowed me to avoid websites that already have poor reviews on here.
It can be used for good feedback as well, of course! So leave a site you really trust a good rating :)
Hey Brandon, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re thrilled to hear how Sitejabber has helped you avoid scams.
This website did in minutes or less what I was unable to do by phone at all. Apparently the websites of the world pay attention to the reviews created on this site in an acute sort of way. The reply and resolution of my complaint regarding recurring charges to my credit card after signing up for a trial offer was quick and complete after voicing my dissatisfaction with the service on sitejabber. I highly recommend the site to everyone. Check with it before engaging others online. Search from an informed position. It beats going in blind by a long shot.
Hi Jay, thank you for sharing your experience with Sitejabber - we really appreciate your feedback. We’re so glad you’ve found our site helpful!
Like an idiot I ordered wheels and tyres from Carid. Com without checking out reviews online. Have not had much luck getting them or help from them! So looked at other peoples reviews about this car parts site, site jabber tells it the way it is! The other review sites with great feedback for Carid Must be run by Carid and similar. My bank even said this to me! How is it either great reviews on one review site or really bad. Thanks site jabber! My trust in humanity is back. Well for now.
Happy to help! Thanks for leaving a review.
The guys behind this site are really on to something. They have built out a pretty good UI and have kept it simple and easy to use for all kinds of audiences. The service is obviously valuable, since their is so much garbage on the internet these days. People really need a good resource to check what they are getting into. I am sure SJ is gonna be extremely popular pretty soon, so they should hire a solid CS guy to fuel a great customer experience! :)
I love this site it allows you to learn about the quality of a site, it's products and services from the entire community. This is a great idea long overdue.
There are a few features I wish they would incorporate (like the ability to link to my own reviews or sort by reviewer) but I emailed them and I am sure these feature may show up in the future.
Give these guys your feedback! - Everybody here should get involved in this at least once! Being that many people here seem familiar with the upper-echelon tier of websites, everybody undoubtedly could make at least one contribution to the improvement of the site, whether it be an original suggestion or not.
Just started reading reviews on sitejabber, for websites. I think it's not really A good reviews site, from all reviews are more than 50% negative, This does not say that the website you use is a bad one. It's just shows that website's like this are showing everybody's misery to earn money with complains. Probably companies have to pay to get there rating up. This doesn't main its OK.
Webmaster don't use this kind of websites just help your customer.
I have found out that your site, guys is one most truly site that offers quality reviews made by web surfers. I really surprised to know something new and fresh about sites i use every day and enjoyed different views on the things. Keep it on!
Well, I tried to find something wrong here, but I don't find anything:-).
It is simply what users wanted since many years. A platform where you can tell the truth about some websites and online businesses. Not a sponsored and censored, full of vested interests commercial tool to help some hidden agenda, but a site where users have finally their say.
Thank you to exist.
I'm confused not because the site is messy but because not all reviews goes "live" even when you received notification emails that it did. They just appear in your profile page but nowhere else.
There are a few things I'm puzzled about or find bad:
- sometimes negative reviews doesn't get published
- there are spam "reviews" that doesn't say anything about the site or business
- there are post that seems to want to start a fight (just my opinion)
Other than these, Sitejabber is a good site to look for alternatives opinions about a business/website. I hope they stay true and not turn to another "review-advertising" site. There are enough scams out there already!
I hope I don't get ban for writing a not so positive review.
Hey Jeremy, we appreciate the opportunity to address this. Reviews are generally posted within 48 hours, but some may be flagged for further review which can take up to 30 days. We place equal value on both positive and negative honest reviews. Sitejabber uses a Review Filter and algorithm that attempts to display only authentic content for buyers by screening certain reviews. You can learn more at https://www.sitejabber.com/faq#filter. The filter isn’t perfect, but it is dynamic and always learning. If you see spam reviews slip through, please feel free to report them.
Are there any websites you like? What about websites you hate? Do you ever go golfing in the nude? Well, if so, Sitejabber might be right for you!
If you ever wanted to share your opinion with others on how much you like or dislike a webby, Sitejabber is a good way to do it. I'm not sure exactly how well-known the webby is, but I'm sure more people have heard of them than the sheila you kissed in the third grade behind the bleachers that will deny it to this day.
So give the page a gander and share your knowledge or disdain for other websites.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Amber-Beth! We've got your back. :)
Positive reviews are ignored, there is no organization, messages are not received, It's messier here than that time Napoleon invaded Russia...a complete cluster$#*!.
Hello Shogun. Thank you for your feedback. Can you send us more details at sayhello@sitejabber.com? We’d love the opportunity to make things right and will be waiting for your email.
I love it so far. Joined just a few days ago and have not found a single problem with the site itself, though I do find some reviews slightly annoying or off such as the Facebook addicts praising it over and over with the same words or the biased views given to the not well known sites such as Chatango that I felt the need to represent from a good point of view. I'm glad that so many people decide to take a few minutes of their day to warn or promote websites to the community.
Something like: site-Jabber is a god-send, I think. I haven't had enough exposure or experience with it to either confirm or deny it's quoted value. I have children to consider. Maybe a internet - cop would be more appropriate. Who knows. I love the net, but it is full of mischief, which I prefer not to get involved with. Well, back to site-jabber - - - time will tell. So far, so good.
Sitejabber.com is among the best of the best in what it does. It allows users to create reviews on websites they have made purchases from or interacted with in some way. Its fun and maybe even a little addictive especially with the points and badges reward system they have. On top of it all your actually providing a real review that others can use to help them make up there minds. Great service with a little fun, try it out.
Thank you, Bob. We appreciate you.
Great site but still needs some work. I find it awesome to be able to search for reviews on businesses; good or bad to let me know before I make a business decision what I am up against and that you include yourself in the reviews as well.
The main reason I didn't rate it a 5 star rating, is because like so many other businesses lately, you have provided no option for me to remove myself from this site. I understand why you have to establish an account at the beginning, to ensure that the review given is a legitimate one and not just from someone trying to get even with a business. I've had written my review some time last year I believe, so I believe that the company had enough time to respond back if they had wanted to and I should be able to close my account.
Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated.
Hi James, we do work with influencers to an extent. We understand influencers may get a bad rep, however, we only work with influencers who agree to give honest, balanced feedback – with no bias towards the positive ones. Authentic reviews are at the heart of what we do, whether from influencers or everyday people.
