I have found this site a money saver for me. I have received $72,30 in 3 months and yes I pay a fee, but I order most everything online, because I am handicapped and don't have a car, and carrying things in to my apartment would be difficult even if some one took me. I think that people have to realize that most people are not going to make huge purchases every month and must follow all the restrictions for each site, such as (no easy pay). There is a learning curve and I made some mistakes in the beginning, but I am happy making at least a little over what my fee is, or more. The average purchaser must realize they may not get rich, but they can get a return for their investment if they are frequent online shoppers, and always remember they must go through the Shopsmarter site, You still come out more ahead than just ordering online without ShopSmarter even if you get free shipping as they don't cover shipping charges.

Just made a purchase from walmart.com and got the shopsmarter offer. I balked at the "start here" page because I didn't see a list of what merchants participated and it wanted an email address (and I already get too much crap email.) So I did a search and found the sitejabber reviews. Thanks! (the fee was not disclosed on the "start here" page.)
I was puzzled as to why there were any positive reviews at all, so I took a look at them. It looks like if you are a 'big spender' and you pay your credit cards in full each month if might be an OK deal. In my estimate you'd have to spend at least $1500. 00 year on applicable merchandise at participating merchants just to break even. To be worth the fees and hassle, I'd need to spend at least double that and that ain't gonna happen. So it would be a bad deal for me.
In my opinion there should be full disclosure upfront, anything less is unethical.
I just recently noticed a monthly $9.97 bleeding out from my limited income! I didn't know or realized the source until I looked it up online. Reading some comments, it's been my experience as well! I've been paying overdrafts for insufficient funds, please stop!

I do not work or in any way affiliated with shopsmarter.com and this is a honest review of them. I just used them to do some blackfriday shopping and I saved a lot more than i expected. They had 20% discount going on during that time. However, I haven't get paid yet but I'm hopeful and their site has updated with my pay out amount.
I will continue to use them in the future and I hope they will have their 20% off retailers up soon for Christmas. That being said, their customer service reps are not up to the mark- when I called they didn't have any helpful information.

Advertisement showcases nice rebate with a small trial fee so I joined thinking I would still net a decent amount for minimal effort. However they don't make it evident (likely hidden in the T&C) that the payout is scheduled several weeks out so there's no way you'd get the rebate without paying for a full subscription. Very misleading. Don't waste the time. Sad to think about how much money they've made off trials with no payout.

I was suspicious about getting $10 cash back when it asked for a credit card number at the end before you submit and agree to their terms and conditions and even then it's really hard to find where it says you'll be charged but it does it doesn't say how much I don't think but there's a lot of fine print to read so it's definitely a trick and I can understand why all these people are upset but that's why you don't put credit card numbers into something in check a box where you say you agree to their terms without reading them. They give you a 7 day trial I believe but I ain't trusting that for 10$ back... mailed to me no less who knows when or if you get that... sorry to the people who were charged though.

I would give 0 star if I can. This company has no business ethics at all. Simply shut down your account when you have hundreds of savings in your account. There are lots of free cash back websites out there with unlimited cash back. What shopsmarter does is charge your monthly subscription fee, get paid from the websites you make purchases and pay you nothing. A total of money and time waste. Stay away from them.

Stay away! I was shopping on Walmart.com when I have gotten an offer from ShopSmarter that promised me a $10 rebate for the purchase I have made. I didn't get any rebates. Instead my accounts was charged. I don't understands why this company is not under investigation yet. Shame on Walmart as well!
What a dirty trick, there my be some people that use this service, but I don't even remember joining it! I was on Walmart's site and somehow got into this while signing up for a credit card! When 2 charges showed up on my Walmart statement and would have been every month! I spent 1/2 day getting it straight. Who are these people?

I signed up for the trial. I used the website and followed the directions for using their shopping portals. I made purchases, multiple purchases, and none of them were reflected on my account at shopsmarter. I contacted customer support approximately 3 times, all 3 times I was told someone would be contacting me, nobody ever did contact me and it has been almost 3 weeks. Bottom line, they did not fulfill their promise of 10% back and had no interest in helping me out when it didn't work.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. If you do any online shopping at all this will pay for itself in no time. Yes you get charged $9.97 a month but you also get 10% back from every retailer you buy from if you go through their site. Up to $1000. 00 a year. I love it! I started buying a lot of things online and I get an extra $200.00 a month! I will definitely be signing up again next year!

Sad to say they cheated me out of some lage purchases from gamestop. Total cheated was about 2 to 3 hundred. I did the right things and followed the rules. Then sent request after request. They keep telling me someone will contact me... no one ever does. I was hoping they would do the right thing and they never do. Communication is not there.

It says nothing about monthly fees until deep into the sign up process in fine prints when you enter your credit card info. This should be stated before the sign up process so people know that it costs so much just to get a little rebate. We didn't realize there is a fee until we see our credit card bill a few weeks later, yet the promised rebate was still not provided. This is not an honest way to do business.

After speaking to a nice lady at Shop Smarter, she refunded all the charges to my credit card, explained how shop smarter works and the monthly charges. Probably first time in my experience where a company refunded the money in such scenario. Maybe I'd consider them in future...

I have purchased thousands of dollars of products through their system and their "cash back" only is hitting a small percentage of them. When you contact customer service they always have a generic reason for not paying. They never actually give you documentation that specifies what they have received or the specific reason for denial (or even if they have denied).

I don't know how I signed up for this membership when I shop at Macy's, but I have been charged for two years! Their customer services only can refund me 6 months of the payment! This is ridiculous and unacceptable! No not use this company!
I was offered a one time $10 discount at Bed Bath and Beyond on May/20. I did not sign up for a saving membership. I have been charged $79.76. I also never reviewed the $10 cash back as well. This company is truly a scam, and they should be ashamed of themselves. I want a $79.76 refund ASAP.
