Didn't know this company even existed til a couple days ago. While looking at transactions on my card, I saw the name. They did an unauthorized withdrawal of 9.97 & a couple days later another 9.97. WTF! $19.94. I got hard copies for the yr. Found they've been doing this since April. For a total of just under $90. I keep a close eye for anomalies. But I was looking for large transactions only. This showed me id got to look 1 x 1 who's taking what. Beware people! I'm disabled veteran & have a tight fixed budget so it hurts bigtime!

We used this program to our benefit until they stopped paying. When christmas time came around we did most of our shopping online at walmart. Com and to our dismay tehy never paid out any of our transactions, especially the 20% ones they promised. I even had them send me an email confirming $ approved then they took them back. Highly disappointed. Will report to better business bureau

I sign up for befrugel, piggy all of them but they never do what they promise. It is always some kind of bs with those others. Today i got a check. I had forgot about signing up and you can cancel anytime so there are no tricks. Great app great customer service 100% will stay with these guys.

Never agreed to any recurring charges! Every month they have charged my cc $9.95 for nothing. My bank charged late fees! They bypassed my bank, so I was unable to see these recurring charges. I am 70 years old. In my opinion they are targeting elderly. Is anybody cooking class action lawsuit to put them out of cheating?

I was offered a one time $10 discount at Bed Bath and Beyond on Dec 3/19. At no time did I sign up for a saving membership. But to date I have been charged $84.74 in Canadian dollars because of that $47 purchase I saved $10 on at bed bath and beyond. Both you companies should be ashamed of yourselves for scamming your consumers. No person with 100% understanding would accept this deal as it's a SCAM! I called shop smarter and the first time they hung up. The second person agreed I was duped! I want a $85 refund ASAP. And bed bath and beyond has lost any future business of my family.

From my experience this site has been more than trustworthy and reliable, I used them once about 2 years ago to buy my TV and had no issues getting the cash back and had since canceled my membership about 2 months later. I recently signed up again and even with the $13/month it's more than worth it, you can get cash back on pretty much any pickup order you can imagine including samsclub which has been a personal favorite for me getting 10% back on all of my groceries and gift cards I purchase for eating out. I recently made several purchases in the thousands of dollars and so far have already been paid out over $200 from the first one. This site is not a scam but you have to make sure the membership fee is worth it for you.

I have been using shopsmarter for months now and every time I have not had any issue with them. I have contacted the customer service and they are 100% transparent. They are not a scam get with them and earn real money back guys 10 percent everytime you buy at WalMart or whatever, begins to accumulate and by the time you get your check you see the actual savings and they are awesome. Yes you pay a monthly membership fee of 10$ or 9.95 or w/e but it's great to save money guys. This is NOT a scam.

They will lock you out of your account when you are trying to login to cancel on your 5th day. You will try and request that your password be sent to your email then it gives you an error that there is no such member at the email address and last name requested. Stay away from this place. What a scam! They bribe you into getting an account to receive the $10 rebate only to find out that you cannot login and cancel on your 5th day.
Hi I purchased an item for my parents and got a free trial with them. They charged my parents for years because its set to auto renew. They refuse to credit all but 4 months of a subscription I never benefitted from. Beware of their customer service.

Charged 12.95 on my debit card they said I signed up on Wal-Mart. Com during check out only thing I've bought no such thing. They easily refunded money but had my card name address email and password where I signed up for it... This is very concerning

In the first quarter of this year I made a few thousand dollars of personal purchases from Bestbuy and Target, so I decided to keep my account at Shopsmarter, as I would receive more cashback than the $39 in monthly fees. Comes April, I want to log in to see how much money I will be getting, but lo and behold, my account is locked! So I emailed them and they want me to send a whole bunch of email confirmations. No problem. Except that some of those confirmations are from orders that I haven't placed, so it's impossible to forward them. I told them to simply not give me cashback for those items, but they said it's they can't proceed without those (nonexistent) purchase receipts. So, there's a whole bunch of hours down the drain. The only thing positive I can say is that they did refund the monthly fees, and they do always respond to your emails within 24 hours - usually much faster. But what's that really worth when they promise you money and don't provide?

Hide their scam in the websites of reputable companies after the customer has made a purchase making the consumers think the offer for $10 cash back is from the company. You can cancel the so-called "membership" once you find out what it is but they will still charge you $2.50for a "trial period" whether you want it or not. Do not get fooled by this scheme! And shame on the companies that allow them to place their ad within the company's site after the customer has paid for an online purchase!

Wow! Am I grateful when asked for my credit card information I became suspicious and search for reviews. When I went back to the website I couldn't even find anywhere they disclosed these excessive fees of over $120 a year for this pathetic service. I sent Walmart an email telling them they just lost a customer for good. Thanks site jabber!
Scam company run from it and don't even bother. If you make large purchases and make money back they close your account and claim that upper management closed it because you have multiple accounts. They made me loose on cash back where i could have used it with another better competitor like freeshipping.com or even used my skymiles to get.
Bad company bad service and bad supervisors zero common sense to help clients. Obviously they just want your money. I will make sure to write a review on any platform to expose them and their behavior
I'm a member of ShopSmarter, and I love how I can get 10% back for most of my purchases. But I found people working at ShopSmarter are inefficient and inaccurate. It takes them more than a month to have your cash from Pending to declined or approved, unlike Rakuten which is fast and free. ShopSmarter also declined my welcome bonus because of their own mistakes, and i had to call in multiple times to get this (maybe) working.
