The most worthless online shop there is. Do yourself a HUGE favor and just find somewhere local to buy from because this operation is worthless and NEVER spend money for expedited shipping because it won't happen.
First problem is when you order something they don't tell you shipping time until you pay. Then you find out two or three weeks before they ship it but still take that next day shipping fee even though they know it won't. Then when they tell you it shipped it didn't. They printed a label and the package apparently sits around for several more days before it actually goes anywhere. I've got tracking numbers that don't work, packages that don't show up... NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THE NHL SHOP.
How is it that most businesses can ship items in 2 days, 3 days 4 at most and this place takes 2 weeks to get an item that is in stock. My jersey took 10 days to arrive AFTER they said it had arrived at FedEx.?
As an employee of a NHL team, I've seen countless jerseys be produced in-house for customers whether it's during games or just customer orders via online. Seeing the (cough) "quality" of these jerseys makes me appreciate ours all the more. We do jerseys with heat pressed name and numbers (industry standard lettering) and offer stitching for those who want a little extra durability. The jersey I received from these guys was a standard Fanatics women's jersey but instead of name/number lettering done via heat press, it was the equivalent of iron-on patching. This should be embarrassing not only to these guys as an official linked source of retail product to NHL teams but to the NHL itself for letting such amateur product represent their brand. They take a perfectly good jersey and make it look like the ones you order from overseas for $50-$60. Unbelievable.
Some advice - if you absolutely must have/want a jersey from them, order a blank jersey and then have a local embroiderer order the proper name/number kit from a vendor that handles professional team accounts (Silver Crystal is a good example of this). DO NOT let these guys ruin your jersey like they did to the one I purchased. Honestly, I'd give them ZERO stars if the option were available.
Looks like i am in the same boat as a lot of you. Ordered 5 hoodies for Christmas presents on Nov 30. NHL shop sent them out via Global Landmark on Dec 3 and is still sitting in Burlington (Customs?) since December 6th. Called the company on Dec 15th and was advised 28business days to Canada (even though their site states 11 business days) Very upset and now facing possibly buying alternate Christmas gifts.
Does anyone know if Global Lankmark actually updates the tracking after it reaches Burlington. Would love to hear if someone actually received their Christmas orders!
I ordered a t-shirt for my son on 12/9 on shopnhl.com, plenty of time to get as a xmas present. The t-shirt was shipped on 12/12 and arrived about a week later. The t-shirt was supposed to be a custom NY Rangers Fox t-shirt. It arrived with Fox's name on the back and the Dallas Cowboys logo on the front. I called and explained the situation. They said they would fix the shirt and then send it out again. I had to insist it be sent Express shipping so that it would make it by Christmas. This was around the 18th or 19th. Today is 12/28 and the shirt still has not arrived.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Placed order Nov. 11th tracking info said it was shipped the 14th... my ccard was charged immediately... today is December 18th and still no package... called twice- first time was told I should get it within a week to 11 days... just got off phone again n said parcel was lost n they are going to reimburse me... don't know if I'll see that reimbursement on my card... couldn't even reorder as I was told items were out of stock... sounds like a huge scam to me... beware... I have recintly purchased 2 women's NHL jerseys for my kids Christmas presents. I have had them in my cart for almost 3 weeks hoping they would come on sale. I could not wait any longer so December 3 at 5pm I placed my order. I woak up next morning and seen they were on sale $151 off for the pair.
So I called customer service which to 45min I will never get back. They told me just in December they don't oner sales. No where on there website shows this. So owning my own business we always oner sales. Up to 14 days. I guess this is why you should always buy local.

Absolute trash. I shopped for a custom jersey and a couple of smaller items. Even though I clicked on my country of origin, the cart did not say what currency I would be charged in. So I asked a live chat agent to confirm that since I was in Canada, I would be charged that $ amount in the cart, in CAD.
Lo & behold, only AFTER the transaction went through was I charged in USD, which is significantly higher these days due to the exchange rate.
Back to live chat. "So sorry for your experience, we will charge you that amount but in CAD$$.
Wrong. Get an email from someone else 2 days later blaming me for not being on the Canadian site and that it was basically my fault. No recourse whatsoever.

I ordered an item on 10/6/2013, said it would ship by 10/16, kept saying new, called on 17th, lady was like "oh, it's the 17th, it should ship today, called on 19th because it said new still. Logged in complaint said will ship, I called on 10/23 and she actually cancelled order and redid it and said she would ship fed ex... Well, it went to fed ex as logged in, and 10 hours later ii's in transit, won't arrive until Monday the 28th. It's a four hour drive, I could go get it quicker! Game is Saturday for "hockey fights cancer night"

I ordered from the nhl shop on November 22nd, my hoodie showed up JANUARY 3rd. In their defense, it didn't even ship until December 16th, so the delivery date was not that atrocious. Why am I griping about something that happened in November? My neighbors just ordered off the website, and paid for the 2 day shipping. By the way, this is only good for once they process the order. If they take 3 weeks to process it, it will ship in two days once they get around to it. They ordered on Tuesday the 20th, still no confirmation email. Good to see things have changed!
Not only did my order take 10 days longer than it should have to get here, I GOT THE WRONG ITEM MAILED TO ME. I ordered a Pittsburgh Penguins T-shirt and received a BOSTON RED SOX T SHIRT. Like what. When I called customer service they demanded that I can not get the original t shirt I ordered but have to return the other shirt and will get a refund within probably another 10 business days. This shirt was one of the presents for my dads birthday and it's just embarrassing that this happened. I also had a very similar experience with the NFL website, only their customer service was ******* times better.

I purchased 250 dollars worth of merchandise off the nhl.ca site. It's been a full week now that says my order is pending. I tried calling 2 days ago and they said the order would be shipped out the next day. I called late last night to see if it had been shipped out, and was told it would be shipped out today. I just called now and was told there is now a delay on the order being shipped out. What a joke. When I called 2 days ago I asked if my order would be shipped out from a canadian warehouse. I was told yes. Today I was told it is coming from Seattle. That will add another 2 weeks to the shipping delivery date. They are playing with my money without a care in the world. This is by far the worst online order I have ever dealt with. Shame on you Fanatics. You're a terrible company. You would think a company as big as fanatics, who supplies fan apparel for some of the biggest sports leagues in the world, would process and ship out their products without any headaches. Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
