I bought a dress from Shilla for my birthday, the dress arrive a day before my party the arms are too tight so was unable to do the zip, I returned the dress to Shilla for a full refund and they refused instead offer me 10% refund despite returning the dress to them within 2days.

I bought some dresses from shilla for my bridesmaid costing £570, they didn't fit and the colours were mixed up. They wouldn't provide me with a returned address instead proposed to compensate me with £54, when I refused they stop replying my emails, but my bank is helping me sort this out. I thought I would just try - NEVER again from this company. Money I have saved is now sitting in a dress, in a plastic bag, fitting nobody. Endless emails were sent backwards and forwards - paid around £90 in total, got £11.04 back. Honestly, unless you have money, patience of a saint and relatives out there - DONT BUY
I bought 2 dresses from Shilla.co.uk and have never seen such poor quality of work. Use of the cheapest material, use of white thread on black dress, loose threading and so on. They say refund under any condition but they don't do this. I have sent pictures of their poor quality of work but they want to see how it looks on me to help me further more. Never ever will I buy from this site again. They sent wrong colour dress messurements were wrong and it had faulty zip. They said send pictures so the could see and refund me and all they offer is 10% off the dress what a joke and to put they are in the UK is a big scam
My daughter was so happy when she got this dress. It's. True to size and I would recommend this AMAZING dress to all the girls out there.
I purchased a dress from this company for my daughter's prom. I gave them her measurements but when the dress arrived it was very ill fitting. I was not too worried seeing as they state they will reimburse any local alteration fees. I had it altered & the seamstress was horrified at the quality of the workmanship. All the crystals were also falling off.
I contacted them regarding the reimbursement & they asked me to send photos & the reciept for the alterations. I did this & they replied say they would only offer 10% of the value of the dress back. Despite me putting my foot down & threatening legal action they wouldn't budge. I asked them the reason behind this but they wouldn't give one.
I also found out that they are NOT UK BASED as they pretend to be but are in Hong Kong. Hence why Trading Standards cannot pursue them.
I just hope karma comes along & bites them hard! In the meantime - please report them on the link below THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Awful. Ordered 1 dress in 2 sizes with the intention of returning one. Dress was for 11 year old daughters prom and was unsure what size to get. Confirmed by e mail to Shills that I would be returning one.
Eventually got one dress and it was disgusting. Ordered Mont green and got khaki green. Still no sign of second dress and although I have exchanged many mails with Shilas they have still not addressed this.
Also will not give address to return anything to and will not acknowledge refund request.

I ordered a standards size dress larger than required so I could have altered here. When it arriving it was at least 4" short around the chest so couldn't fasten. When I challenged them, they wanted another 70% of the cost of the dress to replace. I quoted the consumer rights act 2015 in that the dress was not as described and therefore faulty (they provide measurements on the website which do not correspond to the dress). Alternatively, they would offer me a 10% refund and keep the dress.

I've just had a ridiculous experience with Shillas and really wished my daughter and I had done our research first on this company as we would never have placed an order with them! A day after placing our order for 2 dresses (my daughter couldn't decide which one so we stupidly ordered 2!) I happened to go online and saw some awful reviews so I immediately e-mailed them and cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Well, what a charade as they said they'd already started making the first dress so would have to charge us 70% of the cost of the dress. Numerous e-mails went to and fro and I categorically stated for them to totally cancel my order and give me a refund. Anyway, today I recieve an e-mail to say they have shipped both dresses - WHY! They are the worsed company I have ever dealt with on the Internet and I regulary order online and have never had any issues with any companies in the past. I'll be lucky to get any money back at this rate. There must be something we can do as it seems there are so many disgruntled people out there, they need to be banned from the UK website!
Ordered 2 standard size dresses but they don't fit my step daughter around the bust. Checked their returns policy before ordering just in case. The company want photos of my step daughter in the dress to show the problems. I have flatly refused to photograph a 16 year old and submit to a stranger, I have clearly pointed out the issues s d referred back to their policy. We are now at stalemate and reviewing the law on this.
My 16 year old daughter ordered a dress for her prom. When it arrived it looked nothing like the picture. It was more like something a pantomime dame would wear and it was too big even though we measured her dimensions correctly. We had many many e mails back and forth and they agreed a refund eventually but then only offered £8. The dress was £140. They also offered to make another dress as a replacement. I bought the sample and choose some nice material and then they said they were charging me full price for the second dress. Negotiating, threatening with legal action or saying you will write bad reviews doesn't work. They should be made illegal as they are complete cons.

If I could offer no stars, I would. The dress arrived after 3 weeks and was NOTHING like the picture. Very poorly made, the liner was longer than the skirt! The stitching was appalling and the embroidery laughable. After several fruitless attempts to obtain the return address and a return authorisation, we asked the CC company to return our cash... but they said that too much time had passed and we would be unable to claim. So we stuck it on eBay where it achieved about 20% of the cost. DON'T use Shillas UK - they are based in Hong Kong and have no system for returning the items. Also, ignore the positive reviews, they have all been written in poor English because, guess what, they are written by the same people that sell the dodgy items!

Answer: Hi there, the credit card company sent me a claim form after I rang them. I provided all the corresponding emails, copies of their returns policy, a link to the website, and an explanation of what had happened. It took about a month to come back, but they refunded the whole lot without quibble, as the returns policy is basically an untruth. My credit card is with HSBC. I strongly advise anyone to take the time and effort to do this and get their money back as the website is just full of untruths and it's not right or fair to anyone! Good Luck Migle M!

I do not recommend anyone to buy from this website unless you got to much money to burn.
