It's been four months since I bought a daffodil dress from Shilla. The dress was not what was advertised on site, it arrived late. I paid 140 pounds, returned it straightaway. Shilla have refused to refund me and I will insist I get back what is mine. Please beware

Looked nothing like what we had ordered. Correspondence with Linda was send photos, say they ordered material and then offer 10% refund. All unacceptable. We will contact bank and report to police. I ordered 2 dresses £179 for my daughters prom, 1came nothing like the picture, cheap tacky material. The other dress never arrived at all... 55 emails 6 voicemails to the so called Linda! No refund even though I had not received 1 dress. Outrageous company to deal with, how do they get away trading? They are stealing money off of people... my bank refunded in full to me and chased the company!
Same review as everyone else really. These guys are a scam and worthless people. Their online refund policy is a scam. Their whole website in retrospect is a joke. Don't buy from them unless you're ok with getting second rate fraud ugly dresses. They need to be reported. Report here:

If you've also tried to get a refund from them and they are sending you worthless pathetic emails in the middle of the night, don't bother any further. Contact your bank and ask for the money to be returned to you with your proof of emails / receipt of purchase etc. They should be able to do this. Even if you used a debit card. I've read another review where the lady was successful with this route and I am about to be successful also.

I'm super happy! I got my dress the time I scedualled to get it! It's fits me perfectly and I don't even have to get it altered and 99.9% of the time you do especially for prom! I would recommend this site to anyone who is picky with their style and wants their very own one of a kind dress! Many bad reviews got me so worried so I ended up buying another dress just incase! You won't regret it! Although maybe I was that luck 1/100 that got an amazing dress!
This company are a joke. I cancelled my order within 24 hours and have email confirmation from them also within 24 hours of my order being placed. I have several emails from them promising my refund but over a month later and it's still not been processed. These guys are thieves! I've had to involve my credit card company now. Such a hassle. Buyers beware!
Bought a dress for one of my bridesmaids from here. Ordered it to be tailored made. It arrived in the wrong colour and was about 5 sizes too big (genuinely). Asked for details on how I could return it but they refused to share this. Eventually they offered me a 9% refund on the £100 dress. Before I ordered I even checked with them if they would do full refunds if there was any issue and they confirmed yes. It also says this on the website. The last email I received from them when I asked for a rationale response as to why they would not refund fully, simply said "the dresses are already good value, how else can we make a profit?". The dress is totally unwearable, it will probably cost the same amount to get it tailored to fit properly. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS POOR QUALITY, IMMORAL COMPANY!

I bought the dress three months ago and still fighting with them for return. No chance, they are not giving any details just keep offering ridiculous 8%.
Ordered a dress for my daughters prom, paid extra to have it custom made to her size also £20 for delivery. When the dress arrived it was nothing like what i ordered and was massive all over. Sent numerous email to shillas always got a reply during the night. I ordered straps with the dress they didnt send any. They told me to get it altered my self i took it to a professional who told me it would cost £45 to alter as was massive all over and to make straps for it. I told shillas this who replied with we can offer 10% only, by this time it was 3 days before my daughters prom, so i had to pay to have it done. Guess what still havnt received any refund.

This company is an absolute joke, never been so angry in my life over a dress. I spent £120 on one dress and didn't even get it. There excuse is I refused the parcel when I never even got the parcel which I don't understand. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
Purchased address for my daughters graduation, they advised that it would be delivered on the 6th july as i paid a extra £20 for a faster delivery, the dress did not turn up despite several emails and numerous phone calls... to the number that no answers! The dress arrived a week late, and was nothing at all like the one i ordered, i wouldn't even wash the floor with it.
I've contacted them via email and I've now lost count as to how many I've sent, they don't reply till through the night so i now wake up each morning to a email from them and getting no where fast. As per all negative reviews 'Shillas' website is something you must avoid. Do not waste time and money as they will substitute it with a dress that quality is SO poor you would be better of buying a fancy dress outfit from eBay.
Finally be suspicious of the good reviews on this website as I would expect Shillas were writing them.
Hi, we bought a dress from these shysters and suffered the same appalling treatment. Our bank helped us though as we paid by a visa debit card and the bank refunded our full payment of £128 and will charge it back to Shillas. You have to post the dress back, obtain proof of postage, collate all of the tiresome e mails you would no doubt have sent Shillas and present it all to your bank... Shillas has to refund you, it is as simple as that... it might take a few weeks to sort out but certainly worth it in the end. Good luck!

Answer: Hi there, the credit card company sent me a claim form after I rang them. I provided all the corresponding emails, copies of their returns policy, a link to the website, and an explanation of what had happened. It took about a month to come back, but they refunded the whole lot without quibble, as the returns policy is basically an untruth. My credit card is with HSBC. I strongly advise anyone to take the time and effort to do this and get their money back as the website is just full of untruths and it's not right or fair to anyone! Good Luck Migle M!

I do not recommend anyone to buy from this website unless you got to much money to burn.
